Shit. I'm not sure why, but I read Resistance as Killzone. I guess because somebody started playing KZ2 earlier. I haven't played any of the Resistance games yet except for Burning Skies. I have the PS3 collection, need to get to the first one soon (though no trophies.)

Ah, yeah you're right about the main character if referring to Killzone. It was probably since I was just talking about playing Kilzone 3.

Your welcome... :) i know what I am doing!

And actually the broncos D has one of the lowest totals out of all defenses. The real picks that are getting me so many points are my non- broncos. Ingram, Spiller, and Edelman are all averaging 15-20 points in the first two weeks.

Ingram is out, and Spiller is a big play rb. Edelman has always been solid.

I know, not happy about Ingram being out for a month... now i'm just trying to figure out who to fill that spot with... definitely lost around 15 points. I will probably end up going 2-2, but then taking off. This weekend broncos have Seahawks and I am not loving the idea of my bronco players getting good points, but then Denver has the early bye, so after that it is smooth sailing against a weak division, not to mention getting ingram back in 4 weeks.

currently I have crowell from Cleveland, Turbin, kearse, and just picked up owen daniels. thinking of starting Turbin and then daniels as my flex option.

 
I'd drop Johnny F, but we all know he's dropping 6 TDs when Josh comes back in week 11.

What the heck. I just bought Under Defeat HD because it's cheap, I had $3.xx in my wallet, and I've alway kind of liked top-down and side-scrolling shooters.

Again, no offense to anyone who continues to classify it as an MMO but that is not what it is. I'm not just being pedantic. It's like him asking if this is your first RPG because it has a skill tree. So don't be put off by Destiny's poor showing in this regard. Not saying you'd be any more interested in WoW or Diablo or something, but at least judge them properly. It can be a legitimately fun genre.

It certainly is no MMO. But loot drops and their fucking stinginess/luck is ripped out from that genre.

It was alright. Not bad at all for the price, but unfortunately low on content. If you're decent at shmups (or if you get there by playing this game) you can run through the entire thing in 30-40 minutes. There are three difficulty levels but they all seem to play the same, and you can either play arcade mode which makes the screen really narrow or normal mode which removes that screen limitation. There's a mirrored version of the levels available for each mode, but it plays exactly the same. So...while the amount of content appears to be decent at first, there's not much to it at all.

Same...I was so pissed. Wtf is ascendant energy anyway? Serious letdown. I read something last night that kind of hit the nail on the head.

I'm not entirely sure what their worry is, but I think it may just be that it creates uncertainty about Minecraft's future. Like how is Microsoft going to make it worth $2.5 billion? It seems like they have to monitize it somehow. Maybe that's paid upgrades, or locking out free skins/texture packs/mods, etc. And also they just love Notch and Mojang and they don't like that anyone has bought them out.

GTAV will probably sell well, but it's not a new game. Neither game is even slightly in the same genre as WWE 2K15. I don't think it'll hurt it much.

I get what you're saying about rare drops, but with Diablo you're still constantly getting loot. Even if it'll be obsolete in 30 minutes, lol, you're getting the chance to play with new shit. It adds novelty and replayability to the experience. It beats doing some long ass mission in Destiny only to end up with nothing. I guess there's an argument to be made that it amounts to the same thing, but I prefer the former.
