Shit. I'm not sure why, but I read Resistance as Killzone. I guess because somebody started playing KZ2 earlier. I haven't played any of the Resistance games yet except for Burning Skies. I have the PS3 collection, need to get to the first one soon (though no trophies.)Oh and Therm, did you actually beat Resistance 2?If you did it should be pretty clear that the protag wouldn't be returning for 3:

That was actually Backlog who started KZ3. :lol:Shit. I'm not sure why, but I read Resistance as Killzone. I guess because somebody started playing KZ2 earlier. Honestly, can you blame her (at least in terms of watching the story scenes)?
The game play is a blast, but those cut scenes do go on forever... At least they allow you to skip them so you can get back to playing the game.Nope. It is a strange game for sure.
...Crunchewy, is there something you want to tell us? Are you an insect?
We'll see if it's more like Mura-sucky Baby.http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/murasaki-baby-review/1900-6415871/
First Murasaki Baby review (afaik) is kinda meh.
Ah, yeah you're right about the main character if referring to Killzone. It was probably since I was just talking about playing Kilzone 3.Shit. I'm not sure why, but I read Resistance as Killzone. 2-0 has a nice ring to it. Things were looking grim for me when AJ posted the donut. Based Sproles would not be denied.Fantasy Update: Matt needed four measly points from Hakeem Nicks last night to seal his victory against me. He got one. One point. One catch, negative yards. Hakeem Nicks.
2-0, bitches, just like the Panthers. But somehow in 5th place. I think because the team in my division that drafted all Broncos, defenses and kickers is beating me in points by a lot.
Your welcome...Fantasy Update: Matt needed four measly points from Hakeem Nicks last night to seal his victory against me. He got one. One point. One catch, negative yards. Hakeem Nicks.

Ingram is out, and Spiller is a big play rb. Edelman has always been solid.Your welcome...i know what I am doing!
And actually the broncos D has one of the lowest totals out of all defenses. The real picks that are getting me so many points are my non- broncos. Ingram, Spiller, and Edelman are all averaging 15-20 points in the first two weeks.
7 from Gamespot is not bad. They never give 10's and rarely give 9's. I didn't think the review sounded too bad, actually pumped me up a little for the game.http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/murasaki-baby-review/1900-6415871/

Weird.SteamWorld Heist, which is not a sequel to Dig, releases Spring 2015, platforms TBD: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/16/steamworld-heist-announced-for-spring-2015-release?abthid=5418347d805bfa9967000008
This one is apparently a turn-based strategy game.

I know, not happy about Ingram being out for a month... now i'm just trying to figure out who to fill that spot with... definitely lost around 15 points. I will probably end up going 2-2, but then taking off. This weekend broncos have Seahawks and I am not loving the idea of my bronco players getting good points, but then Denver has the early bye, so after that it is smooth sailing against a weak division, not to mention getting ingram back in 4 weeks.Ingram is out, and Spiller is a big play rb. Edelman has always been solid.
I think everyone that was still alive survived week 2.What happened in that survival football thing? Anybody still in?
Again, no offense to anyone who continues to classify it as an MMO but that is not what it is. I'm not just being pedantic. It's like him asking if this is your first RPG because it has a skill tree. So don't be put off by Destiny's poor showing in this regard. Not saying you'd be any more interested in WoW or Diablo or something, but at least judge them properly. It can be a legitimately fun genre.I'm pretty sure it is.
I love how IGN's article announces the leaked pictures without actually posting them...Concept art from Guerilla Games' next project might have leaked: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/16/guerilla-games-new-project-could-feature-robot-dinosaurs
Robot. Dinosaurs.
It certainly is no MMO. But loot drops and theirAgain, no offense to anyone who continues to classify it as an MMO but that is not what it is. I'm not just being pedantic. It was alright. Not bad at all for the price, but unfortunately low on content. If you're decent at shmups (or if you get there by playing this game) you can run through the entire thing in 30-40 minutes. There are three difficulty levels but they all seem to play the same, and you can either play arcade mode which makes the screen really narrow or normal mode which removes that screen limitation. There's a mirrored version of the levels available for each mode, but it plays exactly the same. So...while the amount of content appears to be decent at first, there's not much to it at all. What the heck. I just bought Under Defeat HD because it's cheap, I had $3.xx in my wallet, and I've alway kind of liked top-down and side-scrolling shooters.
But less than $3 and I'm not that great at these shooters even though I find them fun.It was alright. Not bad at all for the price, but unfortunately low on content. His scale starts at 9 and only goes up from there.Therm gives Under Defeat...9/10 Therms?
I know. I figure this is on the low end of the scale for him as he didnt say he hated it.His scale starts at 9 and only goes up from there.
Same...I was so pissed. Wtf is ascendant energy anyway? Serious letdown. I read something last night that kind of hit the nail on the head.Just got my first legendary engram.
Got two ascendant energies.
you too game.
Nov. 18th, to be exact--the same week as GTA V and FC4: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/09/16/wwe-2k15-delayed-on-ps4-and-xbox-oneWWE 2K15 for new gen is delayed til November.
Why do kids care about the Minecraft buyout? I'm honestly curious.Last night my kids were 9 of 10 Therms about the Minecraft buyout.
Isn't that also the same week as Dragon Age: Inquisition and LittleBigPlanet 3?
I'm not entirely sure what their worry is, but I think it may just be that it creates uncertainty about Minecraft's future. Like how is Microsoft going to make it worth $2.5 billion? It seems like they have to monitize it somehow. Maybe that's paid upgrades, or locking out free skins/texture packs/mods, etc. And also they just love Notch and Mojang and they don't like that anyone has bought them out.Why do kids care about the Minecraft buyout? I'm honestly curious.
Yes, it was a bit of a grind just getting to 20 in Revelations for the trophy, I imagine 50 would get quite tiring.Brotherhood is a grind. You won't have fun getting to level 50 in MP.
That is going to be one Hell of a week. Something for everyone I suppose
Perhaps for the same reasons I wept when Microsoft bought Rare. Sometimes kids just "know". Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself. Why do kids care about the Minecraft buyout? I'm honestly curious.
Yeah, Game Informer wrote an article about that date being a huge day for games yesterday, before WWE was even delayed.
20 in Revelations was nothing compared to 50 in Brotherhood.Yes, it was a bit of a grind just getting to 20 in Revelations for the trophy, I imagine 50 would get quite tiring.
Minecraft kinect confirmed.Perhaps for the same reasons I wept when Microsoft bought Rare. Sometimes kids just "know". Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.
GTAV will probably sell well, but it's not a new game. Neither game is even slightly in the same genre as WWE 2K15. I don't think it'll hurt it much. Why the hell would anyone schedule their game to come out the same week as GTA5 let alone that and another big release like FC4. Stupid.
I get what you're saying about rare drops, but with Diablo you're still constantly getting loot. Even if it'll be obsolete in 30 minutes, lol, you're getting the chance to play with new shit. It adds novelty and replayability to the experience. It beats doing some long ass mission in Destiny only to end up with nothing. I guess there's an argument to be made that it amounts to the same thing, but I prefer the former. It certainly is no MMO. But loot drops and theiring stinginess/luck is ripped out from that genre.
