There's a rumored AC sale this week, so hopefully I can grab the DLC for all the games cheap. I plan on replaying the games on PS3 (1000/1000 on all of them on 360), and I never played the DLC for Revelations or III.

And while I didn't hate III like most people, I'm not looking forward to replaying it anytime soon. II, Brotherhood, and Revelations are all great, though.
Revelations is "great"? I thought the consensus was that it was lackluster compared to Brotherhood and skippable based on how it barely contributes to the overall story.

I'd be down for an AC sale, get some more over on the PS3 so I have even less tying me to the 360. Prices need to be right though.

So Sony really thinks there are enough people out there that want a PSTV (not to be confused with PSNOT) to make it financially viable? There are millions of people out there that want to play old PS and portable games on a not so portable TV?
There are a lot of quality RPGs on the PSP that I wouldn't mind just being able to sit down and play with a regular DS3 without having to worry about battery life or angling my neck down to watch the screen. If I had a public transit commute to work it would make more sense to purchase a vita, but I just don't have much use for a portable system. If this had been available when the PSPGOs were on clearance for $50 I probably would have just gone with this instead.

Then it has the other features like netflix, amazon, etc. streaming and remote play of a PS4 in another room.

Wish it was a PS4 remaster. But then it would probably be $60.

But yeah, the game is $15-$20 new and $10 or so used at this point. Season Pass full price is $20, so you can get the complete edition for $30ish now. Complete edition does nothing for those that are even semi-decent at price checking before buying.

Yeah, I'd probably grab the DLC for 3, 4, and the Liberation PS3 version if they're all 75% off. Probably a pipe-dream though.

I would not call it great, but I think it was better than 3 was. It was similar to Brotherhood with the only thing better about it being the lack of an insanely long MP grind. As far as the outside the Animus story, it really did not move it along as expected by the hype and the title that was chosen. AC3 did finally wrap up the outside the Animus piece with Desmond, but the game itself was just not fun like I expected it to be.

So if you are not playing for story and want to play another AC game, I would personally pick Revelations over 3.

Tyler, I do not know your view on using glitches to your advantage, but I came across this while looking up some of the other trophies.

I have Brotherhood and Black Flag :)ps4:) in the backlog and I had no intention of playing III (I'll read its Animus stuff online). I'm just not sure I want to add Revelations to those.

I'm not totally against using glitches, but in a game like Minecraft it kind of defeats the point of playing the game IMO.

Giana Sisters 2 is coming in the distant future.

Original was fun but super challenging and the trophies/achievements are super tough too.
I can never get over how the sister on the left in that image looks old (young?) enough to be the other sister's mom/aunt. :???:

$5 for any of the full games or bust at this point.
I'd actually grab Liberation Vita at that price. I've been wanting to check it out for a while. Bloodlines was a nice short game. The only annoying thing about Vita vs the HD version is that the HD version has a much easier trophy list and doesn't have any online trophies at all. Not sure why they made that change.

Edit: I doubt it would, though. It never goes on sale. Liberation HD was on sale like 3 months after release and the Vita version hasn't been under $20 yet, I think.

Ya I've been waiting for it too go on sale even before I had my vita. $10, maybe even $15 is my price point, but nada yet

Yeah, I kind of agree with that in this case too. Finding 9 to even start it would still take some time, but mining is one of the main parts of the game.

I found where some people mentioned strip mining techniques. Tunnels that are 1 block wide and 2 blocks high. Then do another tunnel the same size with a 2 block wide wall in between. That way you find anything along those 2 tunnels. Sounds like the best approach.

Nice thing is that there's no online pass requirement, so a used version would be fine for the plat. I don't think I've seen the cart get all that low either, though.

If you're not sure why they removed the MP, it's because it was god-awful.

Yeah that is a pretty good strategy. I'm starting on a "warehouse" on Y:9 but I may kind of switch up to that strategy a bit too.

Also I have 10 diamonds now, and I don't think Diamond armor is really required for anything in the game, so besides the sword and enchanting table I don't think I NEED all that much more diamonds. I'm gonna get on after work and figure out what I want to do next. You and others are welcome to join, but yeah that sucks that the 100 days trophy isn't going to work for you guys if you're playing in my game.

Asura's Wrath :ps3: is $24.99 used at Best Buy.

Asura's Wrath :360: is $9.99 used at Best Buy.

I hate you Best Buy.
I picked it up a while ago during one of those GoHastings sales. I'm going to be playing through it this week and will want to sell the copy when I'm done if you're interested.

Kind of what I thought. Not ideal but I could see this still being useful for me. I could start a new game on PS3 and play with a friend or nephew and not bother to import my character to/from PS4. My only concern would be Bungie screwing it up and overwriting my PS4 titan.

Real question is do I want to buy the season pass which I think I do.
The games are cross save. I got the limited edition PS4 version, traded in the disc and got the standard PS3 digital for the upgrade. Character moves back and forth from PS3 to PS4 with no problems at all. Same as with the beta. Only slight hiccup I've had is that since my limited edition goodies are tied to the PS4 edition the extra ghost and ship skins don't show up in the PS3 version. Not sure if that's going to be the same problem for the DLC but I assume it will be. Personally not too worried on that end though as I can just run it from the PS4.

Yeah, but they didn't patch it out of the original, either, which kind of sucks.
Why would they spend resources to patch it out? Besides, it has trophies tied to it. You can add to a list with DLC, but you can't change a list. Best they could do would be so that if you updated it auto-popped all those. However, developers rarely care about trophies and it costs them money to deliver a patch in both resources and fees to Sony. No way they are doing that for a game that likely made much money to begin with.

Interesting. From what I'd read it was a one-time thing.

Yeah, most of the articles make it seem like a one time thing but it works back and forth with no interruptions or lag. You can turn off the PS4 copy and load up the PS3 version a minute later and everything you just did is already synced. The couple of times I haven't synced trophies before switching consoles those have even popped up right away when I boot up the other copy of the game. Pretty nice since I have friends on both the PS3 and PS4 versions.

Ill probably join you. Ill likely work on some of the other trophies you can get in the tutorial world when I get home, but due to the time difference I'll likely be done with those by the time you get home.

You mentioned a diamond sword, do you even need that? Just wondered if that was for the dragon or something.

Trophies between Minecraft PS3 and PS4 autopop? Hmmm...

I've no idea why, but it took looking at the store to realize that today is Monday. I've been looking forward to some AC sale ever since that was brought up. Goddammit.

Excellent. Sounds like if I buy the PS3 Digital Guardian edition I should be able to access all the content and my character on both PS3 and PS4. Thanks.

Don't need it I don't think, but I want to get one or two diamond swords enchanted with a good drop buff so when I go grinding for Enderman to help me find the Ender portal I'll get way more dropped pearls.
