I think Evil Within is going to be the sleeper hit of the holiday season. #BoldStatement.

I also think Bethesda isn't going to release a bug ridden crash fest. #Delusional.

Dammit Jay, wtf did you do this time??? I mean, he pretty much stuck to this thread only, jeez.
It seems we have a traitor in our midst.

Really, there's nothing for them to gain from reporting him. He'll be back, so in the end the only thing that changes is now they're a snitch.

I always thought he was Jay. Now everything makes sense.

Ok how does the queens missions work in Destiny?  I went to the tower and I have to be level 2 to get the cloak.  Everything mentions the reef.  I got to the guy who gives quests and grabbed a couple.  Try to travel the the reef and I see nothing at all.  I can't travel to it.

What am I missing?

Do the bounties and turn them in.  In orbit on the destination map, on the left where the weekly and daily missions are, a new mission from the queen will be there.

Select it, destroy it, whack off to your new legendary.

You'll be able to do a mission for every bounty you turn in.

So what all do I need to do on the Vita to get it ready to trade in? I hope all the games in the memory card don't have to be downloaded again. I have all the saves in the cloud.

sorry, you'll have to redownload when it re-pairs the card with the new vita. don't forget to deactivate the vita from the device if you can (otherwise I think there's an online option to remove authorization from all vitas on your account).

you have to import the vita 2000 cradle too - not available in the US. it's a lot smaller than the old one and looks nice enough though.

maybe I'm the only one that uses the cradle?

Yeah, you're probably the only one who uses the cradle. I keep my Vita on a secure shelf while it's charging.

You really cant find a flat/safe surface to charge your Vita?

Or does the cradle hold the Vita's hand and say "Its just the tip. It will be okay"?

Uh...you're wrong about the games having to be re-downloaded. As long as he's using the same account on the old and new Vita, all he has to do is boot the new Vita up, put in all the information about that PSN account, and then when he gets to the Vita OS it should see all the games on the card with no problem.

He will need to re-organize all his stuff, though. Folders and icon location is stored in the Vita itself, not on the card.

besides the fact that I actually like the cradle, I genuinely don't think I have a flat/safe + wife accepted flat surface where I can keep it plugged in. we basically have one little table where -everything- gets charged, so there's usually a pile of stuff there (tablets, phones, laptops). keeping the vita on the cradle keeps it away from the riff raff. but maybe I'll just let it take its chances.

I would say the Vita needs to get used to other devices. If you shelter it how will it learn to cope with others?

well that's terrific then - when I swapped vitas in the first 6 months after release I had to reformat my card or something for it to work, but I guess that was a fluke. so my apologies for being a big dumb wrongface.

In this case, I hope he is right. I am trying to look through google now that I am at the office and not on my phone in carpool line.

I had planned to deactivate it, I knew that much. I just did not know what else if anything I needed to do. I am going to wait to verify trade in amount once the store opens before I go through that process though.

Congrats on apparently finally getting Portal 2 online to work.

If you have the Gamestop app, you can see and lock in the trade in value right now.

According to the app the trade-in value is still $110.

I can't get to the barrier so I can't do the bounties. Aren't they tied to the barrier?
lol, you weren't the only confused one. The bounties can be completed anywhere unless specified. Yesterday's:

Archon Slayer: go to Restoration on Earth
Last Day of Winter: go to Scourge of Winter on Venus.

Today's are all crucible with the exception of 'defeat 3 devil walkers'. You can probably get that by doing the Earth strike or the walker public event. As top said you'll get a token for each bounty you complete. The missions will show up as an icon on the orbit screen. Sadly, they're just a mix of recycled missions from the campaign with a difficulty modifier, lol, but at least you're guaranteed a legendary drop. I went from lvl 23 to 25 after completing two.

I'm pretty sure top just stared and cursed at the portal servers until they started working again. just a couple more trophies to wrap up (including the no death on course 4 one) and I'll finally have the plat on one of my favorite games.

for anyone planning on starting up portal 2 - it literally takes 4-5 minutes after the menu screen pops up to connect to steam (you can't play coop online unless you're connected to steam). be patient.

If anyone's interested I'm dumping my new copy of lollipop chainsaw. I didn't think it'd still be selling for so much, but if someone here wants to make an offer I'm open.

Since I don't plan on getting rid of my Crystal White Vita anytime soon, I'm considering just trading in the spare Vita 2000 with the coupon for $160. I only paid ~$85 in Amazon credit for it, so I'd definitely profit from doing that. :whistle2:k

It's still early, but I think yes. Here's how my new Vita looks sitting in my car. It's overcast, but even in overcast days the OLED was pretty much unusable in this situation.

I think this does exaggerate a bit how good it looks, but it's definitely playable.

And that handsome ghost!!!
