alright I'm in dagnabit. I'll be without a vita for like a week, but having a refreshed warranty, the new model and a copy of borderlands 2 + 8gb memory card to sell/trade/prize for $40 is too good to pass up.

Make sure you dont have enough points in your PUR account to make it even cheaper. I had enough for a $10 off 1 item. So it brings it down to $30 for me.

Yeah, I had the same thing. 10k points gets you $10 off any one item. That took most of the tax off, so really it made it cost about $42 instead of $52, as opposed to $30 instead of $40. I guess unless you live in Delaware or one of those lucky sales-tax-free places (at least in that regard).

Last Day of Winter: go to Scourge of Winter on Venus.

Today's are all crucible with the exception of 'defeat 3 devil walkers'. You can probably get that by doing the Earth strike or the walker public event. As top said you'll get a token for each bounty you complete. The missions will show up as an icon on the orbit screen. Sadly, they're just a mix of recycled missions from the campaign with a difficulty modifier, lol, but at least you're guaranteed a legendary drop. I went from lvl 23 to 25 after completing two.

Cool I was doing some reading since last posting and started to figure this out. I guess this is what I get for sleeping 5 hours and trying to figure this out as soon as I wake up. Thanks. I will work on this stuff tomorrow.

you can use gs credit to buy amazon credit and buy it from amazon as well

 
Don't forget to deactivate your Vita before you trade it in. Settings > PSN > Device Activation > Game > Deactivate. Repeat for Music and PS Mobile, Then I restored to factory state. GS powered it up, set it up and put in a game cartridge and tested it out. At first there was a problem with the serial number when they tried to do the trade which made me panic for a second, but then they tried again and it worked.

I don't know if I would agree with that, they are just more likely to occasionally take a time out to do a serious episode and then go back to doing slightly sillier episodes. The "Terminator" episode from last season was one of my favorites.

correct, and region free. the one caveat is that games can be coded so that it asks the vita to handle cancel/accept requests instead of hardcoding specific buttons for the functions. the japanese use hoop for accept and cross for cancel (reverse of the US). so that might take a bit of adjustment. not sure how prevalent that is though, I suspect not very.
 
Ok, so, lol @ Destiny "isn't a loot game". Just like Destiny "isn't an MMO" either. Bungie has created a transcendent work here. Incapable of being confined to pedestrian notions of genre.

As I play I realize it has aspirations to be both these things. I agree it currently isn't, but that's not by design. I just don't think they've quite figured it out. Do I grind for these marks and reputation points? Or try my luck elsewhere? Or farm like so many others. The reward system is fucking bizarre, man. As are the the missing MMO staples. I'm still having a lot of fun despite the quirks. Not my favorite PS4 game but it's quickly become my most played, for what it's worth.

Which one do you think will be easiest to trick Vig into doing?

When are we going to pick the October trophy competition game?

These are all unrelated questions, by the way.

When you say "it asks the vita to handle cancel/accept requests", is there a prompt for that, or would whatever I'm playing automatically switch the hoop/cross buttons' functions?

Back when I played FF7, I would have to go into the Config menu as soon as I started a new game so I could switch those buttons since they defaulted to the Japanese setup. Is this a similar situation?

Oh, they still have comedy for sure. It's just toned down and not near as constant as it was to start, I think.

 
The real question is will there be a Vita 3? Or is the Vita TV that? I want the Super Vita with 4k graphics and lot's of Assassin's Creed.

We only pay tax on the difference not covered by credit. So mine was $32.09 out of pocket after coupon.

I did the deactivate and reset to factory defaults. The guy did not even check if a game worked because it was in the initial settings screen.

automatic and probably not configurable - think of something like velocity 2x's menu where you highlight level select with the d-pad. then you might have to hit hoop to enter level select instead of cross.

I use the cradle... Mostly 'cause I like my vita too much to leave it lying on the floor next to my 3DS. Poor neglected 3DS.

 
I use the old Vita 1000 cradle, even just picked up a spare for $1 at Walmart and an extra charger at K-Mart for $3. The cradle is sweet. It's better than the PSP Go one which was a pain to plug in at times.
