also I know you all love my Destiny updates, just got the trophies for vanguard rank 3 and maxed legendary weapon. Now to max my exotic... I know you can always get 2 energies from daily+1 and daily gold public event... any other sure ways? I havnt done raid or nightfall yet, either of those? Thanks

I have three characters. My main, level 27 and two that I just started and only did the first missions on. Every day I log in with them first, do a public event and get the reward. Then I transfer the rewards to my vault and pick them up with my main character. I've gotten 4 ascendant shards like that today.

According to this walkthrough for FFX I've just started to the second half. It doesn't feel like I'm half way at all--the game is super sedate in its story progression. Maybe the latter half of the walkthrough breakdown doesn't really reflect how much is left, I dunno. Just hit the Thunder Plains.

Halfway through the story. If you plan on doing end game content, finishing the story is about 25% toward doing everything.
