We were all 27 and we were struggling just to figure out what to do and how to hurt the boss and then that stupid stealth section, we are taking a break til tom

What a bunch of twats. These guys are such idiots. I don't get why they would get review copies of anything. They never have reviews on this site.

Someone needs to make sure to retweet this to WBIE, just to make sure they see it.
I was very disappointed by this post. The way it started I expected you to go on a patented Therm rant. But it never materialized. So Asura's Wrath blows its trophy load for random events pretty early. The last one is in chapter 12 of 18. All the rest are story-related or for achieving specific things like going bursting X times, etc.. It's kind of weird because you get four opportunities to interrupt different villains monologuing in the game, and only the first three get you a "Shut up X" trophy.
Of course when I beat the game on normal I'll get 6 trophies just for that.k
Oh, and chapter 11 has three extra trophies for getting drunk in the bathhouse, spotting peepers in the bathhouse, and staring at a girl's tits in the bathhouse. So I guess they used their trophy points well overall.
I have no idea what those last two mean. I'm a bit disappointed by those MP trophies, but at least there's fewer of them compared to other shooters these days.Exo Survival Veteran
Play 50 Exo Survival Matches
Exo Survivor
Successfully Complete Exo Survival Bonus Wave (means players have finished all of exo survival. Only attainable in Riot)
Class Warfare
Play 30 minutes with each class
Exp Flip
Flip a map.
Flip Flop
Flip a map twice.
enjoy tyler.
Summary: Hang on to your $5, it'll get cheaper and you will too. but if the above sounds like something you would like to get to second base with, knock yourself out.
I've actually always been dissappointed that the CoD games never had competitive MP trophies. I mean that is what the vast majority of people play the game for. It would be nice to have some goals to shoot for outside of just leveling up and whatnot. The last 5 trophies/achievements for Advanced Warfare are up now:
I have no idea what those last two mean. I'm a bit disappointed by those MP trophies, but at least there's fewer of them compared to other shooters these days.
Rapala Pro Bass Fishing for PS3 was actually pretty fun to start with. It was just a hellaciously long grind to get the plat.I havent played a fishing game since NES. I remember it being fun for the time. But since then I have never even thought about buying a fishing game. And never will.
I'd guess flip a map lets you flip things like that upside-down condition in Rogue Legacy. With the advanced warfare aspect I guess gravity boots and the like can be in play. We'll see, I suppose.I have no idea what those last two mean. I'm a bit disappointed by those MP trophies, but at least there's fewer of them compared to other shooters these days.
How do you convert GS credit to Amazon credit, anyway?gator - how's the new vita? we need to make sure we get all the vita talk squared up before the morning cranky monsters arrive. I managed to get a store transfer for a borderlands bundle, but I might just convert to amazon credit and order mine there just so I don't have to be without for a week.
I love it. I like the appearance more on the new one. That might be partly due to my old one being used and a bit beat up, but the lack of the silver paint to scratch up around the edge means it should look nicer longer. I didnt really play on it last night much. I had charged it up at work and updated the FW. I was having some bad connection issues to PSN here, but once I tried it at home it was fine. Once I got that out of the way I went on to Minecraft.gator - how's the new vita? we need to make sure we get all the vita talk squared up before the morning cranky monsters arrive. Buy Amazon Kindle gift cards (which work on anything at Amazon.com) with GS credit. How do you convert GS credit to Amazon credit, anyway?
Huh. I was guessing that, but I've never noticed Kindle cards at GS. I've done that with BB credit a few times, though. I'll keep this in mind.Buy Amazon Kindle gift cards (which work on anything at Amazon.com) with GS credit.
GS seems more concerned with taking in used games now rather than selling them via B2G1 sales. The SotW coupon a couple of weeks ago was the first time in months I've seen a B2G1 that worked on all used games, since almost every other B2G1 has been on used games <$20.Huh. I was guessing that, but I've never noticed Kindle cards at GS. I've done that with BB credit a few times, though. I'll keep this in mind.
That reminds me; I haven't seen a b2g1 at GS in a while. Last one was during the receipt code thing that was over a month ago. Seems like they were quite a bit more frequent this time last year.
Boy, it sure would be neat if the first OlliOlli was announced for October's PS+ next week...OlliOlli2 coming next year to PS4/Vita.

First was great, so I'm looking forward to this.
Wow, that was a really impressive wall of text review. I was going to give it a 10/10 at first, but then upon further inspection I have to bump you down a few points. Your proper use of punctuation and capital letters really hurt you here.longish dissertation on Let's Fish, spoilered for easy skipping (and so as not to ruin the plot). enjoy tyler.
So the game isn't good and the game isn't bad. it's definitely low budget (duh) and $5 is probably a bit much for it. BUT, it actually has slightly more depth to it than I expected and it is pretty fun and relaxing for what it is. Note that I haven't really played the story/tournament mode yet, just challenge. the gameplay is the same apparently, just in tournament mode you level up your fisherperson.
Instruction: Just to point this out, looking through the manual and doing the tutorial did not help that much as far as really understanding how the game is played. it's like it expected me to have some know-how coming in. very weird.
Graphics: Looks like a low budget mobile game, maybe a little bit worse. charming though.
Sound: Haven't turned up my volume yet, but I expect it to sound similar to hot shots golf based on presentation.
Controls: Weird, but makes sense once you've done it a few times. Basically there's physical and touchscreen controls for every possible action. You can move your boat left and right with the analog stick or by dragging the screen left or right. you can reel in a fish with hoop (fast)/cross (slow) or use a slider on the right hand side of the touchscreen. the variety is actually nice and I end up using both siuationally - I use the buttons to 'control' the lure and the touchscreen to reel fish in.
Gameplay: This is where I set some of your expectations - there is no actual driving of a boat in this game. it's more like being placed in a fishing 'arena' where you can move left and right a smallish distance to determine where to cast (with invisible walls on either side preventing you from going further). you use one button to cast that has a timing based strength meter, although the cast seems to always go all the way out so whatever. there's different levels and environmental/seasonal conditions to give a bit of variety.
surprisingly, for such a cheap game, there's a bit of depth regarding that last part. you select your lure based on the season of the year and I guess the depth the lure runs (I've mostly been on the first level so there may likely be a lot of depth variety in other levels). surprisingly, each lure behaves a little differently - some you need to keep in constant motion to keep the 'allure' meter high, some need to float near the surface calmly, some need to be jerked quickly and left alone, etc. turns out that managing the lure is like half the game or more. that part is kind of fun. reeling fish in is less fun, it mostly consists of reeling in as fast as you can on moving the analog stick to match on screen prompts qte style to prevent your line from breaking. still kind of satisfying when you snag a bigass fish though.
Trophyness: there's a plat, ps3t sez about 30h. it's mostly grinding the two modes (challenge and tournament?) but seems like it would be pretty easy to do.
Annoyances (aka Therms): Challenge mode gives you the opportunity to earn three stars per season+level, one star per 'mission' (i.e. 'catch 3 fish in less than 160s' or 'catch 6lb of fish in 3 fish or less'). You have to get all three stars in one run through or you have to run through all three challenges again. 6/10 therms
No auto save. 7/10 therms
Fish smelling the lure. ??/10 therms until I know the truth.
Summary: Hang on to your $5, it'll get cheaper and you will too. but if the above sounds like something you would like to get to second base with, knock yourself out.
yes. yes I would.Anyone want to hear about my new Vita today?
The Dreamcast fishing controller made all the difference in the world. I still pop that and Marine Fishing in on occasion. Never did get around to trying Fishing Resort on the Wii, though it was supposed to be good.haha, just looked up sega bass fishing on youtube and apparently let's fish is a complete ripoff of that game with shittier production values. so if you've played sega bass fishing, that's what you're in for.
In his defense, he did use the word "likely", but yeah, he's wrong. Here's the response I got on the Best Buy forums about the $10 GC for Shadow Warrior and Evil Within, though I'm pretty sure he's wrong.

The Evil Within GC isn't part of the ad and has been going on for several weeks. Not sure if Shadow Warrior will be the same way or not, but I'm pretty sure this guy is just guessing.

Last one I got was Sega Bass Fishing for dreamcast because I was able to get it and the rod and reel controller cheaply.I havent played a fishing game since NES. I remember it being fun for the time. But since then I have never even thought about buying a fishing game. And never will.
Bayonetta 2 WiiU sold about half as much in Japan in it's first few days as the original sold on Xbox 360 (which had a smaller install base). About 3.5x less than the PS3 version of Bayonetta sold.
lol
This is why you don't put your game out on a Nintendo platform. Ubisoft is finally getting smart with that. I really hope almost all 3rd party developers start to see the light so Nintendo is forced to make a console and handheld worth a damn. Also got a 10/10 from Edge, will probably be one of the best games nobody ever buys.
