I actually made it through 1/2 or 3/4 of Darksiders on PC. I got annoyed because the Steam achievements for it were broken and just kind of lost interest. I wasn't actually caring about achievements at the time, but when they started popping on my playthrough I paid attention...then got pissed when they didn't pop. :whistle2:

I've been thinking about going through the full game on PS3 since it was free with PS+ and is a fairly simple plat. Dunno if I ever will, though.

 
Waffling on buying mordor or gameflying it.

Gonna go with gamefly most likely as i have destiny and fifa to play as well and wont feel bad about not playing it if I just rent it.

that and it screams 29.99 on sale at worst buy for BF.

That with the 20 percent off new....

How much trouble did you have with them? I'm still at level 26. Pretty much been sticking to knocking out the bounties right now and haven't been messing with the dailies.

I do not remember asking Tyler for any Minecraft help yesterday except for possibly finding the right zombie.  The rest of the quote is definitely accurate though.

 
Darksiders 1 is awesome, I should play it again to try and get the plat.

Darksiders 2 is alright but disappointing, and kinda buggy.  It was unplattable for me after the 2nd or 3rd hour of the game because an NPC didn't spawn right.

No excuse for anyone to not own threes anymore. That game is addicting and one of the only mobile games I consider worth playing on my phone

Loved every second of 1 and only played it because of all the praise it got in the old thread. I am glad I did.

I liked 2, but the whole weapon upgrade thing was just a total PITA. I was worried about not knowing what I was doing to create a good weapon for the crucible. I guess I did too much due to that worry and ended up with weapons that made it a total joke to get through.

If there ever is a 3rd, I would wait for info on how strong the RPG elements are in it. If it is too much, I would just pass.

The looting system on Darksiders 2 was so bland and unnecessary. I just liked the few different dedicated weapons and upgrades in the original.

Ugh, now I'm regretting playing the original Darksiders so much on 360 years ago and having the sequel on PS3 in my backlog... :???:

They werent too bad. The only issue with the Nightfall is that if your whole team dies, you have to start all over. I definitely wouldn't recommend it at 26, but I did it at 28 with two people who were 27 and we had no issues. Got 8 strange coins for beating the nightfall, and then 9 more for the 28 weekly. Bring on Xur.

I think I'm nearing the end of Arkham City story wise
on the top of some tower and Hugo Strange is talking
, so Origins will be another in the list of sequels I need to finish before moving to the PS4 game in the series. At least with Batman I'll have until June now. As for City I didn't stray too much from the main story but it's a game I could see doing more in. It's a lot of fun. Story seemed kind of short though overall...or maybe I just enjoyed it that much. Now what next?

Started Jurassic Park (plus freebie) last night.  Still trying to get through PS3 games.  This "game" is bad.  Real bad.  If the episodes werent so short I would just delete them now and move on.  But the call of easy/fast trophies is too much.

Took us about 4-5 hours to reach the boss when we first did it. We probably would have beat him since we had some really good runs, but it was already really late so we called it. We can start from the beginning now and get mo' loot and hopefully we can finish the raid in much less time.

The final chapter has a QTE from hell. It is doable, but only because you have to memorize the sequence and do the buttons before the prompts come up on the screen.

between the 20% off and $10 reward cert offers, It made it a release day buy for me... So I should have roughly $25 in reward certs by the time GTA V is released, so GTA for around $30 is good for me!

 
oh damn, that queens dismantling was good while it lasted. I told a few people about it after Stotch told me, best way to get 3 shards in just minutes.

also, lol, at least i was polite about it. I said go fuck yourself and then peace bro  ;) awesome stotch

also I posted some pix of 3 new girls but I deleted them in the middle of the night last night, that's what snakey was replying too. ill post them again in a few mins but im gonna pull them down again. Im just trying to be more considerate and not posting random chic pix all over this thread.

Woooooow that's the first Destiny update that actually makes me a little angry. This means that there's literally no reason for anyone who is above 23/24 to do any of the Queen bounties/missions.

 
altho now that we know what we are doing in the raid, you can get 3 shards/whatever the weapon equivalent is for every part you beat, so maybe that will be a quick way to do it.

yeah that queens mission is worthless now without the 3 shards from scrapping. I understand the loot cave, but dismantling items, even legendary items, is a fundamental core of the game. Why change it? People were leveling their armors up too quickly? who cares

and I should have just put it in the armory, but I ended up scrapping that bad juju exotic pulse rifle.

Raid's been beaten in like 32 minutes now. It's crazy to think that the first group took almost 11 hours, and now you could basically do it during a work lunch break with the right plans.

Also, in the patch notes, Bungie basically says that their game isn't meant to encourage farming, so that's why they've patched everything.

 
Oh and Velo, I believe you can only get rewards from the raid once per week.

Current methods to get shards would be the three character public event and buying cheap legendaries to dismantle.

 
What they mean is: we need you to take longer to do everything so you don't sell the game on us.

Bummed about the queen gear, I have 5 pieces I didn't dismantle cause I was falling asleep when I got finished with those missions. Really tempted to get rid of the game.(Not only cause of the nerf) Shame I already used the expansion pass.

Figures I hit level 24 the other day and haven't had a chance to do the queens bounties so I can then do the queens mission.

 
Yeah I really just need the weapon upgrade energies to max out my exotic weapon, but that's crap.

It's kinda like with the raid, like they are trying to make it so crazy hard to get the plat that people will be forced to keep the game and not trade it back. I mean, it's a great game and I am having lots of fun, but this doesn't discourage farming, this just means you have to wait more days to get the resources you need. also daily hero story +1/+2 would also get you some energies.

yeah last night we were taking forever in that raid and I was like, someone just go check the internet and find out what to do. LOL. We were all playing it fresh and figuring it out as we went along. I'm like, I wish there was some shared communication device we could access where people could share their experiences and knowledge and figure out what we are doing. But we were all too lazy, lol
