Football is cool, but I like baseball more. Now I have to wait until Thursday for the first Orioles playoff game. Argh! But I suppose that's better than them playing on Tuesday….

I'm very slowly inching towards finally switching over to the Vita 2000 I have lying around; one major concern I have is whether I could find a suitable replacement for the excellent Vault Case in which, sadly, the Vita 2000 cannot fit (I verified this myself). I found the following two listings on Amazon after looking at reviews:

http://www.amazon.com/Butterfox-Double-Compartment-Carry-Vita-PlayStation/dp/B007GYBTGW/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1411998515&sr=1-2&keywords=vita+2000+case

http://www.amazon.com/HORI-Hard-Case-PlayStation-Vita-2000/dp/B00L6AVNB8/ref=sr_1_9?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1411998515&sr=1-9&keywords=vita+2000+case

I also came across these screen protectors which come in one of three types: Clear HD Screen Protector, Matte Anti-Glare () Screen Protector, and UV Blue Light Screen Protector.

Any thoughts on these?

Thought for sure I would lose this week with 5 of my best players out...  but with brees not playing to his potential and the guy getting zero from one player, I am in position to win, up 30 with Edleman left to play, he has Knile Davis and Gostowski to make up the 30 plus what Edleman does, if Edleman can get 10 it's probably over, 40 between a kicker and RB is not highly likely.

Oh, well maybe we can play some Dead Nation tonight if we dont fall asleep before 9pm? Maybe then we will finish before Xmas.

Sold my BL2 Vita to a CAG. Money in the bank (well, PayPal), baby! Now I just need to get rid of this 8 GB card… or should I keep it for overflow???

Keep your eyes peeled for a deal on Tecmo Bowl Throwback it was on sale once bundled with some dead or alive DLC for $0.99.
I played some of that when it was new. It's fun, but the online isn't too good. Whoever hosts has a huge advantage, as I recall. Lag or something? I can't remember now, but it killed a CAG Tecmo Bowl Throwback tournament. At least that was the case on 360. Probably the same on PSN. Don't buy it for the online.

I put it up for $15 and it sold pretty much right away. However I only had one bite on it, so I'm not sure you could put it up for more unless you're willing to wait….
I have to say I am a bit surprised it sold for that with the PS3 version available for $5. I am not exactly interested in getting more. In fact, like I said I would be happy with a $10 PSN code. I just need to take time to make a post when I am at home. I did not look for the code in the box when I opened it, so just in case there is a screw up in the packaging I will wait until I put my hands on it.

As far as the 8GB card, I thought about selling it, but I think it is worth more for me to keep it in case I end up getting a Vita TV at some point.

$15 - $20 has been the trend on ebay too so that's not too far fetched. I have 2 x 8gb cards and a 4gb card that I don't have any real use for but it's not worth the effort to sell them.

Hmm. But even if you do that, you can't install Vita games on two devices, can you? You'd have to buy the games a second time. At least that is how it seems to be worded. I have never had the opportunity to try installing on two Vitas….

I have Shadow of Mordor preloaded and ready to go. I'll try to wrap up the Minecraft (PS4) platinum today so I can start that bad boy up.

I have this case Vigilante and I recommend it.

I cant take work off Wednesday for SoM because I conveniently forgot its a new month/qtr.  So I am taking next Monday off instead.  And next Friday before my two weeks at the end of October.   I am sure you all care!

I'll trade you a $10 PSN card for it if you'll really take that.

I am not sure what wording you have looked at. You can have 2 Portable devices on your account. I do not see why you could not have the same games on a Vita TV as your Vita. You just can not have 2 accounts on a Vita type device. So it would have to be my account and not a new one for the kids. Then I would have to buy them all again.

Don't be a Stotch and find out you penciled those for next month instead.

Maybe this only matters for cross-buy titles and if you have a PS3. "For Game Content - Two (2) PS3 and/or portable systems". So that sounds like it would be 1 PS3 and 1 Vita or Vita TV. Or 2 Vita devices if you don't have a PS3 activated. Not a PS3, a Vita and a Vita TV. I'm getting this from here:

https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/796/

If a game isn't cross-buy then you wouldn't have an issue. Maybe I'm just completely misreading this, though.

I totally forgot I had preordered Natural Doctrine and after reading some reviews I am trying to decide if I want to keep it.  I preordered it for 39.99 from Amazon and it comes with a $10 GC as well.

I'd cancel it. There's enough new stuff coming out as it is and I can see that dropping to $20 within a few months.

If I'm not misreading that, then this VitaTV thing is super dumb.
Yeah, that is worded really poorly. I know this is old, but it is the wording where they changed how many devices of each type you could have active at one time.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/11/04/upcoming-change-to-playstation-3-and-psp-game-content-on-playstation-network/

That makes it a lot more clear. 2 portable devices and 2 PS3s. I have seen mention of a 5 overall device cap which would not affect me since I have the one PS3, 2 Vitas (if I get a TV), and a PS4.

I am actually thinking about getting a PS TV.  Cheaper than a Vita which I was thinking of getting mainly for remote play anyway.

Yeah, I got screwed this week between Brees, defense, and that TE.

That is awesome! But I haven't watched the Simpsons in years. I'm guessing the episode didn't live up to that insane opening.
I didn't actually watch the full episode, I just had it on Fox and noticed the couch gag out of the corner of my eye since it was so trippy. But I'm sure the episode wasn't great. They killed off another *Super Important* character that has been in all of 4 episodes ever.

This game looks kind of fun.

You guys should all back it so it hits $60K and I can play it on PS4 and/or Vita.
I actually watched gameplay of that yesterday on Steam Train, and I thought it was peculiar that two of the tutorial messages specifically mention using the Triangle (5:55) and Square (7:17) buttons:
