In all seriousness, the only reason I'm not sure if its bad for me or not is because when I was hired they were okay with my schedule, but told me they would promote me which would mean more hours if I was how they thought I was and I'm not sure I want more hours right now since I like getting to spend time with my baby and be here for all her milestones :)

On a separate note, I read through what I missed and heres my responses:

a. Ninja's awesome, I noticed no lisp, and even if he had a lisp so what? He seems like a cool person, I would hook him up with my cousin if he lived closer.

b. Does break fuss not read the same thread we do? I have Snakey on ignore, and have recently found out many others on here do as well, I'm pretty sure 90% of this thread wouldn't have him on ignore if it wasn't warranted. Just saying.

c. I saw nothing mean about what Ninja wrote

D. I'll say it before someone else does "He's not going to sleep with you, you know"

 
On the topic of jobs it looks like i might be losing mine because of all this medical shit. It turns out I don't apply for medical leave because i haven't worked there for a year so hopefully i can get personal leave. I'm going to be in some financial trouble if I lose this job. Things just get better and better

If you don't like what he says, ignore him and move on. He clearly only does it because you feed into it. If people want to pretend that talking about the way he looks or calling him retarded or mentioning how you've put him on ignore is fair then so be it. Just don't get indignant when he makes some off the cuff remark about someone's lisp. All I suggested to snakey is that he at least direct it at people who deserve it, not NinjaSquirrel. Guess you misinterpreted that.

I watch your stream, dude, and it's awesome. Always engaging. I wouldn't say so if it didn't sound good. And if you do in fact have an impediment you're working on (I haven't noticed), you're confronting it in a manner that most people wouldn't have the courage to. Keep doing what you're doing. Ignore the hater.

It's usually pretty on-topic and slow moving but on occasion it meanders. As is the case with any thread where people forge friendships. Hell, that's where I mainly got to know yanks, rpg and cap. And honestly I prefer grouping with people who have a presence beyond the occasional drive-by post. Don't be afraid to bump your requests if you feel they've been lost in the chatter. Once a page is cool. Or just PM me or any of the other regulars there if you have questions/need help.

I really do like Squirrel as he seems like a nice enough guy to me.  But if you dont notice his lisp on his streams your deaf or just trying to be nice (which actually hinders people).  I dont care how people talk as long as what they are saying isnt as off the wall as the stupid shit I say on here (looking at you snakey, get back to being normal like the guys say you used to be).

Same here. I have fond memories of KH1 & 2 on PS2, and I'm glad I didn't find time to play Birth by Sleep on PSP so I can enjoy it for the first time in HD and with trophies.

People are dumb. You see that with a lot of products. User Ratings are skewed because they didnt get the product shipped to them on time or the shipper had a problem so the idiot rates the product badly. I hate people.

Yes, you're under no obligation to send them the game if you change your mind--you can either cancel the trade-in yourself (under "Your Account" -> "Your Trade-In Account") or wait for it to expire 25 days after you initiated it.

Pete/Jeff, I would tell everyone in this thread to lock it in either way.  It my be a dick move, but the TIV will or wont tank regardless of the folks in this thread.  CAG as a whole along with the rest of the interwebs will get a hold of this pretty quickly.  I would rather our thread get in on it while they can.

I beg to differ. It seems the final mix version improved the camera a good bit. Combat was pretty basic but I don't think that makes it bad. Everyone has their own opinion but I loved it.

agreed, it was meant more as a 'don't lock it in if you're not getting the game' kind of thing. which I have a habit of doing just in case.

should also be $44 after gcu at best buy for a while I expect.

I've only played BBS so far. It was actually a really solid game, but I only played the first playthrough. The repetition of going through the same worlds and levels with all three characters just got to me and I quit halfway through the second run. Plus the kid wasn't near as fun to play as the older guy.

I haven't decided if I'll replay BBS in 2.5 or not. The trophy list shows that you really have to do all three runs in order to get much there. Lots of "Do this as Character X" trophies. I imagine a single run would max you out around 25-30% based on the way it looks.

 
Congrats and condolences for finishing off Portal 2 Pete and Topside.  I know you guys have been trying to get it for some time.  Problem is that now you have less reason to play Portal 2.  I really hope they make another one sometime soon.  It was one of the best games in that generation of consoles, IMO.

I wish I'd preordered S&M. I was trying to practice self-restraint like a dumbass and wouldn't let myself get it unless I finished tlou (which I didn't obviously). now I'm going to be super left out and uncool, just like with destiny!

Tyler you might want to just buy whatever BL2 DLC you want before the sale ends today. I doubt that groups going to fill.

And who did you rent the Bioshock DLC from?

I know. But I'm almost positive the game is AT LEAST cross save so if/when I play it, I can import my character to the PS3 version and use him to play the Tina DLC.

But I'm not even getting the Tina DLC because my group didn't fill so it's not a big deal anyway. I'll just timeshare it from someone when I get around to it.

 
So is anyone other than Cleaner and myself interested in Mercenary Kings?  If some of you guys playing it now want to play it again with us to get more of the trophies, that works too.  I think it will be more fun with a 4 person group.

my favorite is whenever challenge 6 is brought up there's a handful of hardass bruhs that are like 'it wasn't even hard nubs, got it on my second try'. I'd bet in all seriousness I've run it 50 or 60 times - I can get to the last wave consistently enough (1 out of every 4 or 5 times) but I just can't nail this fucker. I think I'm ready to try again though.

edit - p.s. I know I suck and that people probably do finish it on their second try. It shouldn't take 60 tries, but it's hard dammit! speedrunners make it look even crazier.

Thanks for the TIV heads up. Locked in. I'd still prefer trading it in to BB (and probably will since I should be able to get $44 for it) so I can keep the pre-order/buy/trade-in cycle going there.

 
I had a dream last night that I was able to play my PS4 copy of Destiny on my Dreamcast.  I should probably make a thread about it in the deals forum.
