Yeah I know. I'm not going to buy any of it.

Rented the Bio DLC from a guy named Factor747. I think I overpaid by like a buck ($2/week) but I don't really care since it's still way cheaper than the Season Pass will ever be, even on sale.

There's a few other good things for rent. Almost wish I would have looked more into GS a month earlier, since I have SoM to play now.

 
Is AC Liberation HD really really short?  I just checked this morning and it looks like I am really close to the end of sequence 3 after one night.  Looking at the number of walkthrough videos, it seems like that is about halfway through the game already.  Granted it is an AC game so I am sure there is a ton of collectibles and stuff to extend it, but it looks like it is going to be super short.

I'm definitely interested, but with my starting SoM tonight and the fact that I'm waiting to play Mercenary Kings on Vita, I don't think I would be available on a regular basis. I also don't have a mic. :oops:

I so want to say yes to this, but I just can't promise I won't bail out if the grind gets to be too dull. Maybe I can randomly join you on and off if you're cool with that and don't have a full crew already. But I can't promise I'll be in it for the long haul so I don't want to take up someone else's slot or anything.

 
So who wants to join Matty and I for today's daily destiny missions? And then the weekly and nightfall strikes hopefully. We're going to be doing them all at the highest levels because Matty thinks he's a bamf in destiny now.

Are you playing it remote play or something? It doesn't even list as being supported on Vita.

Yeah, it's short. You can plat it in less than 15 hours easily. Only took me about a week, which is really short considering my limited playtime.

I'm also interested and I don't think I would bail (although we'd see after 50 hours of it), but when are you going to start and how often are you going to play?

You figured it out already, but it's the same guy as the last avatar I used and from the same show (Person of Interest). It just seemed like a better image.

If we don't have a full group of interested people, I am certainly fine with you playing as you would like. In fact, it looks like most of the trophies do not require you to play through the entire game more than once, but it likely makes it more fun than grinding certain parts.

No idea really, I was trying to get a group together first. Knowing now that it is coming to Vita might change my mind though.

I could see that being the case as well. I see now they said it would be cross buy I wish I knew if it is going to be cross save with the same trophy list or not. Also, would be nice to know if the mic and speakers work for voice communications in MP on the Vita.

 
planned on streaming the crew beta, if i get a code. internet says people streaming it are getting banned though. odd, since it seems like people were streaming the pc beta, and there are a lot of videos from it.

It was alright. I like both Stallone and Schwarzenegger, but the whole treachery angle just felt very poorly done. And yeah Stallone's character should have seen the ending coming. The prison boss did a good job though, and I liked seeing Holly from The Office in a completely different role. I'd never seen her in anything else before, so that was interesting.

So are Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy giving everyone backrubs this week or just easy-ass trophies? Surprised how many of yall I saw playing it.

If no one wants to play the lower level stuff and I am around I can fill in and bow out when you move on to 28 or better. If you find another 28+ who wants to play it all that is cool too. I have plenty else to work on.

I am almost 26 but probably not for a few more days at least.

my favorite is whenever challenge 6 is brought up there's a handful of hardass bruhs that are like 'it wasn't even hard nubs, got it on my second try'. I'd bet in all seriousness I've run it 50 or 60 times - I can get to the last wave consistently enough (1 out of every 4 or 5 times) but I just can't nail this fucker. I think I'm ready to try again though.

edit - p.s. I know I suck and that people probably do finish it on their second try. It shouldn't take 60 tries, but it's hard dammit! speedrunners make it look even crazier.

I think studying the speed runs will be helpful for finding quick ways to deal with the mobs as that is what often trips me up as the swarm plinks me and puts me into overheat when I am and trying to focus on not dying to the big guys.

just picked em up myself, I love gameshows. I would keep the gameshow network on all day long at my desk if I could.

I used to date this gal who thought she was god's gift to trivia and loved watching jeopardy and saying the answer a split second after the contestant to (subconciously I guess) make it seem like she knew the answer. So for fun I picked up a jeopardy game for my ps1 and got her to play it with me. any guesses how that went over?

Granted, I didn't play KH 1.5. I just recall the time it released and he tried to get me into it, but was far too hard to stomach. 2 came out and that one I really liked. Never played Birth By Sleep, but I do know the story has been diluted through many platforms and games as to make it complicated. Same friend tried to lend me 1.5 and I said no, again.

I know some people like to replay games (ahem, TLOU, SD, M:R) but that is not my cup of tea. I'd rather use the time on new games or denting the backlog.

I am also a game show junkie. It was a sad day when the mid-morning/afternoon game show for replaced with the generic talk show/court show.

If these games were Press Your Luck or Price is Right I'd be over that shit. And why isn't there new versions of the Double Dare game out on new systems? Or American Gladiators?

yeah. rollerballs and roller skating robots are what always screw me up. sounds like you're going for it though, that's awesome.

and that video you linked is nuts. getting up in the bogey's face with a shotgun and succeeding. twice. nuts.
