The main complaint he seemed to have in the review is the amount of padding added through backtracking and tacked-on shooting gameplay vs. humans and androids. Though I agree, the wording of the review didn't match the 5.9 score, it read more like a low to mid-7 and I still don't get what he means in the negatives by "frustrating Alien AI" as he never really explained what was bad about it in the review.

I think I do a better job of supporting my conclusions. He did a shit job of making his review lead to a believable 5.9.

Edit; NM, I thought you were making a reference to the IGN guy since I don't actually know who Jim Sterling is and you made it sound like he gives negative reviews.

I think you have that confused. Jim Sterling gave it a good score. IGN gave it the 5.9.

Jim Sterling is kind of a hipster reviewer a lot though. Reminds me of how stotch used to be, hate on games most people like. I'm surprised he never ended up at Polygon.

If not for Jim Sterling's 10/10 Destructoid review, I never would have played Deadly Premonition on 360 and experienced its B-movie perfection.

Did you not get a Paperwhite a few months back when they were like $40 Simmias? I thought everyone got one.

And Stotch, let me know when you want to do the raid again...I know you want to do it again. And these stats have to be wrong. It says my death total was 13, which is great. But totally not true. I think we died at least 20 times thanks to Stellar on that last section or two.

There are two sections you have to look at, because we took that break. So I had like 11 deaths in one and 25 in another for 36 total.

And I'm going to do the raid again, for sure.

I have started playing it. Trophies don't come 12 per half hour of play like Wheel & Jeopardy. Shits pretty hard but kinda fun. Soundtrack is great. Only played like an hour and a half so far but will dive in more tonight and over the weekend.
 
Speaking of women.  Managing them is the worst.  They all talk shit about each other and want to tattle on each other to me.  fuck my job.

On a better note I was just told one of our product guys is leaving and he recommended me for the job.  It would be a nice pay raise too though not triple like Keeper's offer.

RAID TALK OMG:

Oh, yeah, 49 sounds more like it. I'm definitely not ready for hard mode most likely, but I'd like to do the raid every week. At least until I get tired of it, but they'll likely open a new raid by that point.

I think, knowing what to expect now, as a group we could have made it all the way to the end without dying pretty easily. But it would also be super easy to pick up a cheap/dumb death along the way with having to worry about 6 people.

I forgot how awful some parts of Sly Cooper were. Basically any level that isn't the normal type of play is pretty bad. I can't stand these levels where the hippo is running and you have to shoot the enemies attacking him. fuck

Those weren't bad, but I hated the similar one near the end, where
you control Carmelita and have to protect Sly. It sucked that it was a 1-hit-death situation.

I don't care how old Sly 1 is, a spoiler's a spoiler.

It's funny, 1 hit death spots situations are what is causing me the most grief, but for the life of me I can't remember them at all from the first time I got the plat. Must've blocked them out
