I can't see it being much fun to watch. It's pretty slow moving and entirely based around the tension the atmosphere builds, so not being in control of that yourself would likely be pretty dull. It could possibly be fun to watch people get scared by, but otherwise it's really a game I feel you need to play to understand what's great about it.

My point still stands. I have a higher tolerance than most when it comes to game quality, and unless LoS2 is on par with or worse than Magus (which would be impressive in its own right), I'll probably like it. I don't expect it to be as good as LoS1 regardless.

Yeah, I've been waiting forever for Arkedo Series to go on sale and drop a few bucks, but I'll probably just end up buying it now since the dev seems so cool.

To be fair, I dont even know what Pix the Cat is about.  I havent watched any videos, looked at the trophies, or read anything about the game.  I only know its name because of you guys.  I will try it out tonight though.

 
I feel sorry for anyone that isn't reading this thread during the day today.  All the Pix the Cat stuff has already made it blow up this morning.  With a store update being later today too, it is likely to blow up even more.  I would guess it would stay busy until people start getting home and trying to speed run Pix.

 
Boy do I suck at buying postseason tickets. It turns out if I'd tried again at noon I could have been in the fray for tickets to other games in the ALCS. I didn't understand. Ugh. Well I did just grab a pair of left field upper reserve seats for game 7 if that happens. It might. I'm sure I could have at least gotten better seats if I'd tried right at noon.

We need to go onto the World Series so I can try doing it right.

Is that on psn? I was browsing their site and it just said Xbox marketplace. I did earn some sort of achievements by looking around which was satisfying for a second.
 
Yeah that PixDev/Twitter thing is pretty cool. I hope this sets a precedent that the future contests are for newly indie games. Then tyler can stalk them in the Internet world and try to get them to send free stuff to the winner.

Well... I am not sure Tyler's twitter stuff is what got the job done here. That post that Pete made implied that they found the thread via it showing up in google. I am sure Tyler will want the credit though because he is so much like wren.

It's a combo of three smaller games. The three smaller games all actually released in EU with separate trophies, too bad those didn't make it over here, but at least we got this set. They've either changed their name or broken away and formed a new studio or something. You can clearly see it's all coming from the same developer, even though they only actually have 03 Pixel on their Pastagames site.

I'm assuming the Arkedo Series is a game we could buy to support them and they would still see some revenue from that, but I'm not positive because of the different developer names they've had. Maybe if they're still reading they can clear it up for me.

I didn't stalk them, this time they actually stalked us, finding us via Google because of the thread name. I'm glad they liked Vig's post, or else we wouldn't have known they were here.

I am inside something when I start the checkpoint (abandoned carcass of a boat or plane or something) and I exit through the left and a tank appears and a bunch of dudes come out. I got through all them, and made my way to the abandoned boat or yacht, then a sandstorm started when I was up there and I feel like I almost got through that, but that was as far as I got. I think it's the 3rd part you are mentioning.

 
Wow, destiny picked an awesome day to be down because I am fucking killing it in Minecraft today. Got a zombie villager right off the bat, then jumped into the nether and took care of a ghast with his fireball. Loaded up the tutorial and took care of ocelot and emeralds. Then went running for a little bit on peaceful mode and the biome trophy popped within 15 minutes. Now I just have to sleep it out a few nights for the plat. Should I stream it, tyler?

It's coming. It's Curve. They put everything on everything.

I wondering if it's a market test for them or something. Release a game on WiiU that has no hype from PC or other consoles and see if there is enough of a WiiU market that is willing to try out something new.

Although that theory isn't great since it's not really new and a sequel to a game on other platforms.

I think a few of us just noticed they were reading the thread around the same time and checked out the profile. I think that was before they started leaving likes. It was a few minutes after I posted asking about the username that they liked my post at least.

Regardless, it is pretty cool that they came across the thread.

I thought that PixDev might have been someone else ( :whistle2: ) entirely, so I wasn't sure if I should bring attention to them when I noticed their likes this morning.

I am actually cool with it being basically a Madden update to the original, because I love the first one. The one thing that will cause me to not double dip onto consoles will be its awful release date. Why release a Halloween game on basically Halloween itself? It would be like waiting to release Madden on Super Bowl Sunday.

God damn it, I actually used two Madden references in relation to this game. I need to play more games.
