@pharm I think therm had it mostly covered but there's apparently another potential " stimulation spot" located somewhere up there. So you should let your wife help you with that. Open your mind, dude. And your ass.

My other laptop is an Intel Core i5 2430M CPU @ 2.40 GHz.  How do I tell how many cores it has?  I'm assuming this one would be better for streaming?

Go to Control Panel and then System. In the System section of the page that comes up it'll show your processor. On mine it specifies the number of cores it has. Check yours for that.

Or, you know, Google and see that the first result for that processor model shows that you've got 2 cores and 4 threads. This approach may be a bit too technical for you to handle, though.

I just read the PST.org guide for Spelunky.  Immediately deleted the game.  Its not because the trophies are hard, more because the guide makes the game sound like a chore rather than fun.  And from what I played last night it seems like a chore.  So again, I'm out.

 
Halo Collection has 401 achievements, 4000 Gamerscore.  So basically 100 achievements per game.  That seems kinda excessive to me.  Not sure I'd really want to try and unlock 100 trophies in any game.

That sounds horrendous.

Having said that, I'd love to see the Halo collection come to PC and get a decent port. I doubt it'll ever happen, but MS is just screwing themselves out of so much money by not doing it.

Yeah, MS has gone overboard with the achievements. Killer Instinct has 122 Achievements (and counting) and even dumb little games like Nutjitsu and Threes have 1000 Gamerscore, the same as basically all retail releases. I'm glad Sony didn't go super overboard like that. I like a little bit of a distinction between smaller and larger games. Once in a while Sony drops the ball in not giving some bigger titles platinums when they probably should have them, but overall I like how Sony is doing things better.

 
I hope Sony is just waiting to give us the same pvz garden warfare trophies the xbone has for achievements. They just dropped the legends of the lawn free dlc, but still not the extra trophies...

also got a ton of castlevania harmony of despair trophies last night, including boned. Now just working on packrat and gillionaire ($ trophy) and then slaughtervania is just a huge grind.

I just can't break 1.3 million on pix the cat yet, taking a break...

I guess i don't see the appeal in Pix the Cat. Feels like an arcade game from the 80s updated with some fancy colors and flashing lights. If it didn't have trophies or a leaderboard no one would play it

I've played much shittier games for fewer good reasons. I like the quasi-randomness of the depths and that it's backwards timed also - knowing that I have 5 minutes to do as well as possible really makes you think about every single turn you make. I've grown to like it more and more as I've continued to play it.
