I like the quasi-randomness of the depths and that it's backwards timed also - knowing that I have 5 minutes to do as well as possible really makes you think about every single turn you make. I've grown to like it more and more as I've continued to play it.

So no more 2D indie games either? I mean games are games at this point. No one complained when Pac-Man Championship Edition came out because it was awesome. I have yet to play Pix The Cat but it seems people are enjoying it. It's not your type of game at this point, we get it.

 
It's good that PixDev didn't get scared off by Pharm but I think they came back got more Velo stories.

It's really not a game that lends itself well to gameplay videos. Yes, the alien doesn't show up for a good 2h or so, but they really do use this time to build a substantial amount of tension so much that when the alien finally does show up it's as horrifying as you'd expect it to be (when I first saw it I went and hid in a locker for 10 minutes until I was sure it was gone).
 
Today at work we received feedback from a co-worker in another department on a web graphic that was described as "a cross-section of a prostate exam."

Still just a dual core, but that's a substantially better processor and would be more than functional for just encoding your stream.

Hey pharm, I got a sweet exotic chestplate that lets me carry an extra grenade and more heavy ammo. I had to get knocked back to 27 while I leveled that up and a new helmet, but I'm almost back to 29.

I went to lunch today, had Taco Bell on one side and Firehouse on the other. Remembered somebody sang the praises of the Brisket sub. It was so friggin' good. Was it you, good sir?

I hope you mean that you hid in a locker in real life and not in the game.

on that note, I'd just like to say that you psnots (tyler specifically since I've watched him more but everyone I've watched) is sooooooo much better to watch/listen to than the regulars on twitch/youtube.

those people are soooo annnnnnoooooyyying - every other sentence no matter what they're playing is either 'what the fuck' or 'that fucker needs to die' or 'fuck this shit'. I loves me some cursing, but they're not entertaining or interesting or anything. also, they suck at games.

watching that alien isolation twitch this morning the guy spent 5 minutes bitching at the game about how he already 'got the fucking batteries' for his headlamp and then he finally realized that he either didn't know how to turn it on or hadn't tried just going in to a dark room. then two $100 donations came up on the screen. at 4:30 in the damn morning.

you guys are more entertaining, more fun to watch, and play better games.

tl;dr you guys are awesome, the rest of the internet sucks.

I was going to bring this up, that game has been on sale all of one time that I know of and I snatched it up but haven't spent too much time with it. I was hoping arthur's/firebrand's inclusion in umvc3 meant that capcom was going to try to revive the property (like strider) but alas nothing yet.

I know I'm far and away more advanced than the "average" player. I've played the game over 100 hours. There should be more that differentiates my character than someone who casually plays.

Its not about being "better" than anyone else in the game. Most exotics don't do anything that their legendary equivelant can't do.

Except for the IceBreaker, Gjallarhorn, and Pocket Infinity (and a few others Hawkian mentioned above.) Those shouldn't be easily obtained.

There isn't enough honesty in this thread.

I refuse to believe that everyone in here has a smile on their face that the Icebreaker is for sale and now thousands of more people will have it. "Oh, well I'm just glad that everyone gets to enjoy the Icebreaker now..."

Matt and I were talking about this during that large-chested young lady's stream yesterday. Her and some dude were playing (kind of), and whenever there was actually action on the screen:

"Where the fuck did these guys come from?"

"Use your fucking curse spell on them"

"The fucking curse spell isn't fucking working"

"You have to fucking charge the fucking spell first!"

And so on.

And this was on League of Legends, I think. Which is really just about the most boring looking game I've ever seen. Definitely not exciting enough to be talking like that about.

I mean, I swear a shit ton, but I try and keep it out of normal conversation for the most part and save it as an expletive. I'm going to work on this more, because I didn't realize how much casually cursing like that makes you sound like a moron.
