AND THE BIG BLADE SPINNING AROUND THE ROOM. I thought 'good, these dumbasses will just walk in to it and save me the trouble.' then one of them apparently learned to duck and started walking towards me under the blade. fuck!

back to the lady - I might take a couple spins at killing her (she's good at teleporting past traps and the one hit kill is brutal) but I'm happy to pass if it doesn't work out.

this has turned out to be my favorite game in quite some time. it is deeply, deeply flawed but amazing.

Haha. To think I almost forgot about the spinning blade room. I decapitated myself so many times in there. That was when I first realized that if you are crouching and use the stim pack you will stand up and use it. I know what you mean about the trap placement. More often than not I laugh when I walk into one because they really are trolling you with them. Chapter 10 is great. The few after that are also great because you are in a totally different environment from what's been in the game so far. So glad I stuck with this one. Gonna be kind of sad when I beat it. Although I bet new game + will be pretty fun, too. No fucking way I'm trying for any sort of no upgrade/no getting hit run.

AC: Freedom Cry seems to have ramped up the difficulty quite a bit compared to the previous games. And it's because it's more of a side-story stand alone game, they dispensed with the tutorial sections Leaving those of us who haven't played an AC game in a year a little lost in the beginning.

you know that 'no hit' run is going to be the worst on things like putting the needle in the head models to unlock the door. fuck it up once? you're back 20 minutes to the last checkpoint. or the barn fight where if you step back just a hair you get fire damage. blood monster too. dear lord vig is going to be a mess.

I think you get a special treat to play with in ng+ that I have to at least try before I ditch the game and I'm doing a no upgrades on y first playthrough (it has not been bad at all) but yeah, I'm not in it for another 3 runs. maybe someday when I run out of stuff to play.

Also I am waiting to pick up the kid at school which I will do while I am off. Ita horrible you have to get here an hour early or you will be 100 cars back in line.

Anyway I went to best buy on the way to price match mordor. Took them a bit but they got it done. But they didn't have shadow warrior. What the fuck? I check online and according to stock checker only a handful of stores have it. So its off to Brandon later to pick it up.

Got some weird orders in one of my emails this morning, apparently using my email to order themselves crap.  Names and addresses are not mine.  Credit card linked to the orders where I could see it based on the last 4 digits is not mine.  Contacted the companies to let them know that they should look into if it was stolen.  

 
Lastly I was playing through sacred citadel last night and this morning. Pretty boring as it required very little thought to plow through. I see why no one said anything very good about it. It isn't bad. Just nothing good about it either.

I had my 10th or 11th interview last night and it went well! I was asked about how much I know regarding DoD international technology export laws and I replied 'Nothing at all!'

You're right on both counts. Season 2 is almost unanimously considered the weakest and a good portion of the cast are Baltimore natives with no prior acting experience. Think I remember reading he did it for authenticity. Not sure if you've reached Proposition Joe or Snoop yet but they're terrific! Glad you've stayed with it. Season 4 is arguably some of greatest television ever made and will tie up some loose ends with 2.

if I'm going to move halfway across the country to a place that runs around 3-4x the cost of living with no safety net and my decently sized family you sure as shit better believe I'm not lying about a goddamn thing to anybody in this process. the last thing I need is to be jobless 90 days after I get there.
