Well, a friend told me about it and I was like, what, that is weird. Put it into rest mode to keep my downloads going and grab some dinner, same thing he described happens to me. Highlight of the night was that I couldn't join my friend's Shareplay, but he could join mine.
 
I figured I'd wait a few days to update my PS4 but I started up Assassin's IV and it was stuttering. Once I updated it was fine. I remember NBA2K14 having a similar problem when the console couldn't connect to online. In lieu of stuff like this and a 20GB day 1 patch for the Halo Collection I'd say the days of always online are already here. I don't put the system into sleep mode but I did hear about the not coming out of sleep situation. Fun. 

 
yep, I had the rest mode problem too. I actually hope it's a little widespread, that'd mean they'll actually put their backs in to fixing it sooner rather than later.

Well considering NBA is an always online game, I could see why you had an issues when it couldn't connect online.

It happened to me right when I got the PS4 and I was rushing to show my parents the game so I skipped the current update at the time...realized afterwards what was going on as I was in a rush to leave for work. I didn't know ACIV was always online though. Probably uplay or some such crap.

Those are some cool figures. I hope the Juggernaut one comes with a helmet though.

That pack would have been my second choice behind Wolverine and Hulk. That probably comes as no surprise to anyone. Doctor Strange and Silver Surfer would be near the top of the list too.

They also say some people can't link Youtube, but I was able to do that no problem. I even have 2-factor authentication enabled and that was not an issue.

I always turn my PS4 off when I'm done using it and charge my controller while I'm playing thanks to the USB cord.

no helmet unfortunately, but that won't prevent me from throwing it at someone that comes over to my desk to try to chat about some dumb shit their kid did yesterday.

Uncharted remaster may be on the way!

It’s been rumoured that the Uncharted trilogy will be making its way to PS4 in a new and improved HD version, but there’s yet to be any mention of it from Sony, until now.

A post on the EU PS blog innocuously discussing the new YouTube app for PS4 has seemingly let slip that Uncharted 3 is coming to PS4 in some form, courtesy of a screenshot of the upload to YouTube function in action.

The screenshot clearly shows the clip being uploaded is from Uncharted 3 – a game that, as of right now, is impossible to play on PS4. It could potentially be captured through PS Now, perhaps, but considering this image is being used by Sony for marketing purposes, it hardly seems like something it would do for the sake of promoting the YouTube app.

Which does, of course, beg the question: was this an intentional ‘leak’ on Sony’s part? And, does this mean on Uncharted 3 will be coming to PS4, or will the rest of the games – as rumoured?

And finally, if the series is coming to PS4, will Naughty Dog be adding in the much-loved Photo Mode from The Last Of Us? We damn well hope so.


 
I had that "turn on from rest" issue last night too.  I had a pulsating orange light on my PS4.  I held the power button down for 30 seconds or so and it restarted and worked find for me since.  Hopefully it's just a one-time thing and not a reoccurring thing.

There was a interview posted a week ago where they talked about this.

However, rumors have been floating around about a potential PS4 remaster of the original trilogy, much like the Last of Us, Meyer has addressed those rumors, stating that “I personally think it would work well, because there’s a lot of attention on the studio between the success of Uncharted 2, 3 and The Last of Us. It’d be nice to give players the opportunity to go back and play the older games, and people who are new to the PlayStation platform.”

However, Meyer also noted that the team is very busy and doesn’t know if they’ll have the time or man power to dedicate to it any time soon: “I think that’d be great – but I have no idea how that could fall into our timeline.”

Not sure if you're using "plat" to just mean "100%", but Luftrausers doesn't have a plat.

 
Also, that PS+ lineup...um...Sony? April Fools was about 7 months ago. :wall:

What are the prime tournament candidates among those? Unless its trophy list is different from the Steam achievements list, Binding of Isaac would take forever to plat according to endergeek, so I presume that's off the table.

Was just about to chime in on it. I'm not sure if the PS4 version is expanded in anyway, but the Wii U one felt way short. More importantly, the shooting never felt that fun/satisfying. Seemed liked enemies took just a few too many hits than they should have so your ship feels pretty weak. The actual environments are kind of annoying, too. Like there are random obstacles you have to navigate around sometimes making it possible to back yourself into a wall or something while running from enemies. It's pretty looking and I think the premise of fighting diseases on cells is cool, but I'd definitely recommend waiting on a sale.

Yeah, you're right. I was thinking it was a plat because I have 2 missing trophies, I remembered the one glitched trophy and thought the other was a plat that relied upon it. Nope, there's just two glitched trophies.

 
Binding of Isaac not surprising, but very welcome. It's also on Vita, but not sure if it's been announced as cross-buy or not. It is cross-save. Frozen Synapse doesn't look like it's on PS3 yet, so I guess that's getting released (it doesn't show up for PS3 when I search for it?) Cross-buy with Vita version? Escape plan is cross-buy with PS4 version.

Only half of that lineup really interests me (Isaac Rebirth, Steamworld Dig, and Luftrausers), and I'm really glad I didn't buy Steamworld back when it was on sale. I think we really need to see Isaac's trophy list now.
