Looking at the trophy guide, Scott Pilgrim is supposed to be doable on Supreme Master on your first try. I guess I just suck because I sure can't do it.

Lmao, you're an idiot. You and I both, bruh, everything we said she said out loud and laughed. But I wasn't going to bother getting online for one 5 minute match at the end. I'll just wait until next time. Better yet, shes a level 30 Titan, we should talk her into some Destiny instead of CoD.

 
I made it to halfway-ish through Ch. 11 in Akumu, stopping at the checkpoint immediately after the yellow-door part. That part was so rage-inducing, almost to the point where I'd call it the hardest part of the game for me. :headache:

I should hopefully get the plat over the weekend, though.

After playing for a while last night, I don't think I'm in any danger of leaving the novice league in spelunky. It's honestly not as bad as I remember, but it'll take something magical to turn me around on it. Furthest I got was 2-1, and when i walked in it was dark with a torch and riddled in spikey traps.

First time I played I found myself dying halfway through a level and immediately heading to the shopping district to level up. At the beginning of the twins level there's a secret door to the left that leads to an area with a bunch of coins. Not sure if it's the best grinding spot (though you can do the 2 player thing if you want), but I would go through there and then die to start over.

Tyler, where did you see that Nicalis is adding more descriptive item descriptions to Isaac? I can't find anything that says that. Was it a tweet from Tyrone

 
My score compared to others in here in today's daily challenge in Spelunker HD gives me hope I may actually be able to compete for 4th or 5th place!
 
16/20 of SoM. I haven't decided yet whether I'll knock out some more of the collectibles after I finish up the story. Probably not. The branding thing changed the game quite a bit (not entirely in a good way, tbh), but there still isn't much variety in the non-story components. I still think the game isn't anything fantastic, but it's pretty solid overall.

Therm posted a tweet about it from Edward McMillen, but it looks like that tweet was actually from July, and not recent. So no, I guess no new additional descriptions are coming.

There's still definitely crash bugs that need to be fixed though.

Crashing I can understand since it seems to be random issues. The tweet from July probably referred to how descriptive things are now and the fact that the descriptions are correct. There were 3 or 4 descriptions in the original that were wrong, or not complete.

I think for now they are focusing on fixing the PC version because some people are having bigger problems than occasional crashing on PC. First PC patch hit yesterday

Yeah, it gets annoying, but I still enjoyed the game and art style.

So I restarted my GameFly subscription for 3 months and just got Wolfenstein in. Installing it now. I want to get SoM but of course it's low availability. Not sure what I'll request next.
 
so close to doing the wave 15 on escalation solo. might have made it, if i had set my abilities properly instead of using one i need the trophy for. not that i could get the plat by myself anyway, thanks to the healing trophies, but i could get pretty damn close.

Why not play online with others?

 
The rhyming in this game doesn't matter when there is spoken dialogue, but when you have to read yourself it's super hard and jumbled becasue things are in passive tense and sentences are randomly added, etc.

EDIT: Example "If we to the left fly..."
