Thanks for posting. That honestly sounds a little more compelling than Unity at the moment since there is more piratey-stuff and the story sounds better. Still won't get at launch. Possible on Black Friday (Target has it for $35 I think...)
Could be a candidate for your next plat, since there are no online trophies.

What the fuck? I'm on my way home from the interview (which I thought I killed) and I get an e-mail getting denied. Hopefully that's from the first location or that's the fastest rejection in history.

watched a bit of a let's play of ac:rogue this morning and it looks pretty decent. they basically tidied up ac4's ps3 engine and put some new characters in it. looks pretty good.

and really, every single time ubi tries something new it's a bit of a technical disaster. I guess the ezio games were fairly solid, but the original (ai and object/climbing/pathing issues), ac3 (framerate chug for real), ac:l vita (glitchy, framerate, and the save killer), ac4 (bugged ass social / online features) all should have been foreshadowing.

still going to have fun playing it, I'll just pretend it's an nes game.

Good lord on the TT score. With that said, it will likely drop a few thousand as soon as you get the plat. When only one person has it like that it is super high.
Yeah, but it will drop hard once everyone sees how high it is and jumps on it. Probably settle in the 3-4k range when it's all said and done.

The challenges are what will turn a lot of people away... some of the last ones are a little grindy.

I didn't really run into many (any) issues with AC on Vita. Guess I was lucky, or maybe they patched it before I played it.

How's Infinity 2.0? Just more of the same?

yeah I was totally thinking of that b2g1 coupon from the gcu bundle. When i resubbed this week I totally thought that was the same coupon as well and looking forward to using it, but damn you are right, only on preowned games. oh wells.

Why even buy the new AC game Day 1, don't these games always drop to $20 or less in 6 months?

I don't even get off work till 9:30 (2130) so my daily challenge time wont be until at least 10. I made it to 1-3 last night but I was playing to see how far I could get as to opposed to getting the $. I actually learned quite a bit just watching Crunchy's replay.

Ya, I couldn't even find 2 preowned games i would want at my Best Buy and unfortunately the strategy guide coupon expires before Bloodborne comes out.

AC IV held it's value for a while. But otherwise I kind of agree with you. These games usually end up cheaper pretty fast. I guess with BB GCU it can still be worth it to get the games on release beat them and trade them quicky.

I am going to try and pick up Shadows of Mordor for cheap on BF. I missed out on it when it was new but all the positive reviews here and elsewhere have me interested in the game.

As for GCU what can the digital coupon be used on? PS PLUS sub, PSN $$$ card, or just actual game cards to receive a digital game? It's 10% off.

I think ac4 :ps4: hasn't hit $20 yet in the past year (but maybe under $30 a couple times?). they were also pretty stingy with cuts on ac3 until it had been a year, and they seem to be holding fast to rayman legends :ps4:. seems they're trying to reverse the 'ubisoft drops the price like an anvil' mentality.

7 away from plat.

Having no luck with: Beat the tank 3 times in a single play :whistle2:x

Obj. Complete : 107/150

AC Unity has chests but they require you to unlock them by going on the companion app on the phone and some cost real money, Dem microtransactions son

Despite the glowing AC Unity reviews here, I couldn't pass up a copy from Target for $40 plus a $5 GC. Hopefully the PS4 version is smoother than reviews indicate

I thought there weren't any newer ACs in the leaked BF ads so far? :whistle2:k

Unless you're talking about new copies, AC IV was <$20 a couple of times through Gamefly's sales.

Where is the place to go for good flips between BB and Gamestop? I have B2G1 free at both places.
Try looking at the high-TIV games at both places ($40 bases at Best Buy, $40 guaranteed TIVs at Gamestop) and decide from there. The Evil Within, Sunset Overdrive, and a couple others are good to trade in to either place (note, however, that The Evil Within's guaranteed $40 for PS4/XB1 at GS only lasts through tomorrow).

yeah, but I didn't think the first time was until the end of september. not that there's a titanic difference between 6 months after release and 10. it doesn't really matter, just seems ubisoft game prices don't drop like they used to.

76 is meh to people now?
I just breezed through the summaries and some reviews, but it seemed that the actual review tones seem to be 'meh' despite the total number. lackluster plot that doesn't advance the overall 'story' (such that it is), performance issues, and a few good ideas that weren't necessarily well executed. in other words, every other ac game of the last 3-4 years.

I blame current-gen. Even Watch Dogs hasn't really dipped below $20 outside of the odd Gamefly sale over the past couple of months, and some BF ads even claim that selling it for $35 qualifies as a deal.

It will not surprise me if Gamefly has Lego Batman 3 on sale relatively quick.  I can never remember another Lego game at launch being Available Now on all the platforms on a second day after they started shipping them.  It is that way for PS3, PS4, and Vita (this one isnt a huge surprise).  I would assume they have a ton of copies, but maybe with all the new games it is just not high on people's lists.

My kid is going to be very happy we get to play that one so quickly.  I hope all the collectibles in the hub do not take as long as the last one though.

I'm excited for it. Playing 2 with my kid, I realized I probably wouldn't go for 100% playing by myself but it's a blast to do together with him.

Not to me but I know some people who won't do below 80, which is kind of crazy. I guess some people just prioritize what to buy this way. I kind of feel like I'd miss out on a lot of fun games this way.
I used to be this way. Then I played a few cheap, borderline games when I was low on money and enjoyed them (Viking, Conan and Dark Sector).

Then I bought everything I was remotely interested in and became overwhelmed. Bad idea.

I love playing it with my kid. The problem I have is that when we finish story mode, he drops the mic controller and walks away :)

He has absolutely no interest in free play mode. I think he enjoys all the story mode cut scenes and when they are done, he is done. It makes the 100% grind seem longer when I am doing it by myself.

My kid loves free play. He enjoys the story missions too, but he's still only 4 years old so it's easier to just turn him loose in the city and let him do whatever than it is to try to explain to him how we need to progress in the level. He's good especially for his age, but he just enjoys the exploration of the city more. He's pretty good help gathering studs and knocking out the gold bricks.
