Chewy, we might have a problem. I just did the DC and got $33000, but when I quit Spelunky and restarted it, I don't see my score on the leaderboards. I only see a ~$12000 score for mmitch079.

I just quit and relaunched and it's still there, along with mmitch079 and Sinistar83 who I friended somewhere a long time ago and I have no idea who it is any more.

Check your leaderboard in a bit and see if the scores show up.

Something is still not right with Spelunky. I watched and compared 3 times now and my 1-3 and 1-4 are somewhat different from what I see for Vig and mitch. I'll be curious to see if anybody else has  variation on the theme. I mean in many ways they are similar, but there are significant differences and that shouldn't be the case. Hopefully this is just a hiccup that will be gone in days to come.

But you confirmed that it was ok and restarted the competition. Surely you wouldn't go back on that now?

 
Sage, Mitch and Vig all have the exact same level. I hope some of the pros will try it too and kill the shopkeeper in 1-2, because that's one thing I did different.
 
rollers of the realm sounds like a blast. as if i needed another vita game to play.

my mlb 13 vita came in already too. if anyone else got a copy, there's 3 online trophies to get.

 
fuck. I got to the jungle and finished with $73650 and then I fuckin died by throwing a rock at a treasure chest I was standing next to, which bounced back and rekt me.

Also, Spelunky Meat Boy creeps me the fuck out.

I just reproduced the problem with one of my kids' accounts. I killed the shopkeeper in 1-2 and then 1-3 had the layout I saw. :( But it would still be good to see if this happens for others and is not isolated to my PS4. If you see the locked chest near the start of 1-3 you've got the layout I saw.
 
Damn. 1-3 and 24200. I was doing quite well until I ran into a large spider. Spent way too much time killing it. Hit it with a rock three times and jumped on its head a few times. Eventually nailed it with a bomb. Then the ghost showed up so I was in a rush and died due to not being careful enough running through the rest of the map.

I didn't see a locked chest. I don't even know how to kill a shopkeeper, though.

In all seriousness, I only play Spelunky for the Daily Challenge now as I want to get the One Piece plat done ASAP, so it's closer to 3-4 hours logged.

The problem occurred on the 13th as well. I just watched my replay and vigs from that day. At the very least the location of the locked chest was different for me and there were probably other layout differences - the location of the chest is easiest to spot. Similarly on that day I killed the shopkeeper in 1-2 and Vig didn't, so it seems like that is the trigger.

This sucks and it's definitely going to need a game update to fix if they've even noticed it. I did just report it in the official forums and on twitter (not easy given character limitation). Hopefully they take note.

I'm not sure what to do about the tournament. Maybe this is how it's supposed to work, but I doubt it.

 
Yay. I finally made it to the black market and bought the ankh which I then wasted on the way to the exit. I also totally forgot to buy a fuckin cape or something so I got bumped by a yeti in the second stage of the ice caves fell into the abyss. 

 
Do you guys that keep talking about entering the Taco Bell contest actually go and buy that $5 box every day?

If so, I've got one word for that, yuck.

Not sure i've seen it mentioned anywhere on here today, but apparently people are speculating that Amazon is having a buy 2 get 1 on ps4 games tomorrow? Probably good for all you non-game sharers who havent got pre-orders elsewhere. Or maybe Best Buy will PM Amazon and you can get one for free that way(if youre getting 2 or 3 already anyways)?

 
Well we could just play it as is, with this bug. At least the leaderboard appears to be working. I guess we'll do that.
