I think the 'hipster' opnion in Portland now is that Voodoo doughnuts aren't that great any more and are more just for tourists.

Same with Rogue brewing. (Have you tried their Beard Beer? It's made from yeast from the brewer's beard!)
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, apricot, pear, apple, light banana, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, light banana, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, clove, black pepper, honey, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a great crisp malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice Belgian pale ale style. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

COME ON MAN, NO WAY YOU SMELLED AND/OR TASTED ALL THAT SHIT IN A BEER.

That's not directed at you, eldergamer, that's some hipster doofus's review on Beer Advocate.

Zimm you going for that Swap Force plat? Seems like a huge grind.
Probably not. Haven't looked at the trophy list too closely, besides some of the easier hub world ones. I do recall having to get lots of collectables and three staring shit, which I'm not usually a fan of. We will see once we finally finish of the main story, but I doubt it.

Trophy guide says 4 playthroughs required. Yikes.

Whoa. Actually reached my like quota for the first time. And I realized Tapatalk will still add them in app, but they don't actually show up on regular website CAG. So I probably have reached my limit before. Retroactive likes to those of you that didn't see any likes I thought I gave out in the past.

I have not tried that, and I have no plans to. While Rogue has a few I know I like and would drink again, I really have no plans to try any of their other new stuff. Their pricing used to be a bit lower so I would give their stuff a try. Now, it is priced like so many other really top notch brewery's beers and it disappoints way more than it succeeds.

There are so many better options in Portland that I know I would not bother with Rogue if I lived there. Hair of the Dog and Cascade being my 2 personal favorites.

Yo Kracker or RPG,

Regarding Hungry Horde...

are the only two end of night bosses the tank thing and the silo/helicopter rotating panel thing?

I used to think a lot of those reviews were bull shit with what they claimed to smell and taste. Now, I can pick up a lot of things in a beer myself. With that said, that review does look like bull shit. There is just way too many things listed for 1 beer to have. I can say I have tasted all those flavors in beer before. They just werent all in 1 beer.

I have had a couple of those Rogue beers before. Both sucked donkey balls. Absolutely disgusting beers. Not sure how anyone drinks them.

Far Cry 4 will be $49.99 at Target according to their ad for the week after Black Friday. Hopefully Best Buy will follow suit and we can get price adjustments.
Woot. Already going to be getting some money back for Sunset Overdrive this upcoming week. Considering the embarrassing number of new releases I've bought over the past month or so, I'm gonna be rolling in price adjustments up until Christmas. Did Best Buy announce a holiday price match period this year? Like I know last year you could PM anything from the beginning of November through the first couple weeks of January. That was great.

I have the utmost respect for you, jkam. But fuck you and your mother because smash brother is one of the greatest things ever.
No need to bring my poor mother into this; It's just weird that game is either a love it or hate it. Seems like there is no real in between. I also didn't say it was bad, just not my cup of tea is all.

If you never had 3 other people to regularly couch competitive play against then I could certainly understand, it's not that fun just playing against the computer.
I don't like the floaty mechanics, the wealth of shit going on, on screen, or the general feel of the game overall. I guess I'm just more of a Street Fighter type person. I know why people love it, I just don't...regardless of how many players are playing. Is this one online?

Holy shit look at dem Smash Brother reviews.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/wii-u/super-smash-bros-for-wii-u/critic-reviews

IGN has a review in progress because apparently online multiplayer isn't available until today. Which begs the question.. how are any of these other guys writing full reviews?
I think most people play Smash Bros local. I have never been able to get into the game, but my kids sure are excited about it and I don't think they give a damn about online.

None that play Nintendo consoles anymore. (not a nintendo knock) Just the truth. I still have my 3DS. :)
You don't need all your friends to have a Nintendo console in order to invite them over to play on your Nintendo console.

And I usually can't taste anything in beer - but beer. Still haven't developed a taste for it.

Wine & Spirits, that's another story. Although some of the cocktails are the most pretentious, over-priced shit I've seen.

The one I had just tasted like fruit juice.

The Cosby drugging and raping women story wasn't "well known" before this. I sure didn't know about it.
It is well-known. You might be too young to have much exposure to it when it was news, though. Keep in mind that this was mostly going on quite a while ago (69-80s.) It's similar to the situation with Roman Polanski where there was never any real punishment and Roman (and Bill Cosby) just got away with no real consequences. On occasion the subject gets brought up again and an entirely new group of people find out about it, but anybody with knowledge of either man or who is old enough to have seen previous iterations of this being "news" is aware of what happened.

Haven't played one since the first one on N64, I watched a video of the Wii U one and it did seem much busier.
