Jetpack Joyride Deluxe - 12 Trophies Some are NEW, Ps3 VITA
Surprising the Teslagrad got a plat. Too bad it's shared, but oh well.

Wonder if Jetpack Joyride Deluxe is going to be free. That game is sweet. Why no PS4, would be fun to stream. I gotta get a Gato!

Honestly I can't imagine that watching somebody stream Jetpack Joyride would be much fun. Especially since we've all played it to death already. It is a good game, though. If it's free I'll play it again on Vita. Maybe even if it's a couple bucks.

I downloaded the Rollers of the Realm demo and played it last night on the PS4.  The levels were a bit bare boned, you could put a lot of spin on the balls with the analog stick, if you lose a ball (character), you can gather mana easily from various spots on the board to revive them, hitting a rat cost you 50 mana points but you could easily recoup it.  The only puzzles I saw were trying to figure out how to get a key which would unlock a treasure chest on a few levels.  Didn't notice any weird physics, so that's a plus.  You can buy items and skills with the gold you collect.  I hope it gets more challenging because I felt like it was too easy through the first 6 or so levels I played before the demo ended.  Reviews on Steam are positive so that's a good sign.

Yeah, it's too easy and kind of bare bones, but I didn't hate it. I'll probably pick it up at some point.

oops meant to actually type a response to the snakey's mom thing back there. too late now!

re: bill cosby - I wish people would just come to grips with the concept that they don't know celebrities at all. at least not any more or less than the dude that sat three rows ahead of you the last time you went to a movie theater. how can people be shocked by bill cosby's behavior if they didn't know him? because he made entertaining shows for kids? because the cosby show was rad? because he's funny? who fucking cares about the personal business of people they don't know? married or divorced, drunkard or straight edge, funny or a bigot - unless I'm going to hold the girl who checked me out at Target today to the same scrutiny (I won't) I can't bring myself to even be a little bit interested. it's his business, not mine. it's bizarre how much we care about stuff like this.
I get what you're saying about celebrities and unrealistic expectations, but it doesn't apply here. Allegations of rape and sexual assault are something we should all be concerned with. And, yeah, I'd like to think no one is capable of that kind of shit, least of which of a man who built the latter (and most lucrative) part of his career on "family values". Lol hypocritical doesn't even begin to describe this shit if it's true.

I finished setting up my world state through Dragon Age Keep. My excitement for Inquisition is building...
Don't get too excited. I couldn't get my Dragon Age Keep data to transfer. I couldn't figure out how to have my Origins account linked to my XBL account so I said fuck it. Since I never actually played through the first two games, it wasn't really a big deal for me. But you might want to double check that DA Keep recognizes that you have a PSN account linked when you first login.

That's my last one unless they put out an emergency patch between now and tomorrow night. AW is going straight to Best Buy.
I'm sure everyone at Sledgehammer is rushing around right this second working on an emergency patch just for you. They also all remember that one time you used a mild curse word a month ago.

It definitely gets harder. A couple of the latter boards take quite a bit to get through. More time consuming than anything. Shitty thing is that if all your dudes die, you don't get any of the gold or XP for that level. And the end boss is a mutherfucker.

When I logged in, it said I had 1 PSN account linked, so hopefully it'll work. If not, then whatever.

I wasn't sure if I should buy the Burnout Paradise Ultimate Bundle and sell off my physical copy, but according to PSN, I apparently bought the Big Surf Island DLC already. That's the only worthwhile DLC for it, right?

I'm definitely going to go crazy with infinite C4.
I kind of hope they put in something like a playground mode that is separate from story mode. Unlimited ammo and C4, and by unlimited I mean the not even limit it to 5 that aren't detonated. Just let you put C4 everywhere and then trigger square miles worth of shit to blow up at once. That would be awesome.

Honestly, I don't see why they couldn't with the PS4/XB1 technology now at their disposal. I just hope you're not the first to think of it.

Have you played it yet? The disc saves don't work with the PSN version of the game.

Run down of DLC:

Party Pack = stupid, its a pass the controller game mode in which each person is challenged to perform the same task and then whoever does all the tasks the best wins. (7 trophies)

Legendary Cars = Cool, it features knock off versions of the General Lee, the Back to the Future Car (with hover mode), the Ghostbuster's wagon, and the :wall: TV remake version of KITT from Knightrider. (4 trophies)

Toy Cars pack = cool, it features toy versions 8 standard cars, and the F1 car. Since they are smaller and lighter they very nimble which makes them great stunt mode cars. (3 trophies)

Boost Specials = ok, it features 2 cars. The Hotrod which is the fastest car in the game, once you turn on boost it is locked in and will never stop until you crash. The mech which lets you toggle between the three boost types at will, all other cars are hardlocked to one boost type. (2 trophies)

Cops and Robbers = ok, it features a new multiplayer game mode in which a team of cops and a team of robbers both try to take the same bar of gold to their home base. It also has police variants of 35 cars.(8 trophies)

Big Surf Island = Grrrreat, a whole new island to explore. Several new unlockable cars including a dune buggy, a hummer, and toy versions of the legendary cars.(10 trophies)

Only the cops and robbers DLC may be difficult since its all online trophies, but you only have to win 2 games, one on each team, and do a few other simple tasks like score once with the gold or wreck someone with the gold.

wouldn't you rather play a game where you're a giant walking tree and you discover locations with your friends? and that's the whole game?

Thanks for detailing those. As I said, I only have the DLC for Big Surf Island downloaded, I have never played Burnout Paradise on PS3 (digitally or physically), and I have a physical copy in my backlog.

My worry would be if they did that they start down the following bad logic path.

Oh this would be cool to play with friends (TRUE)

Now that we have the net code in, why dont we turn it into competitive multiplayer instead (HELL NO!!!)

They are thinking they are still going to be able to play a game in Buffalo this Sunday when this is what the stadium looks like now. They are supposedly going to get another 3 feet. Call me crazy, but I don't think they are going to be playing there on Sunday.
It's football they'll take out the flamethrowers if they have to.

It already is\was free on Vita?

If you guys go to a fast food restaurant by yourself and want to take your drink with you when you leave, but need to use the restroom first, what do you do?  Only options I can see are leave it at my table unattended, take it into the bathroom with me, or abandon the drink. None of which are ideal to me.  I guess I could walk it out to my car first then come back in and use the restroom, but that feels kinda lame.

The answer is always get refill, take drink, pee later.

I would never be eating in a restaurant by myself, so I would never have this issue. If I am alone and get something to eat, I take it home/work and avoid buying a drink.

Screw lameness, it's your drink and you can do whatever you want, though I'd only recommend doing this if you absolutely cannot hold it until you get to a more convenient restroom.

Get more friends. Loser.

I don't use fast food bathroom so hence no problem! Fast good women bathrooms (I don't know about men's) are disgusting.

On another note, Safest/cleanest bathroom is Nordstrom. They even have a lounge in there :)

Also, didn't win a ps4, but won $60 to Amazon so woohoo :D

Is there any reason to not install all the Burnout DLC (aside from Timesavers) right off the bat?
Nope, all the game data is in the patches, the DLC are only 100KB unlock codes so you might as well download it all but time savers (unless you don't want to be tempted to use the DLC cars before you use the standard cars).

If you need to go to the bathroom at a fast food place, just leave your drink in the lounge of the Nordstrom's ladies room.  Super safe in there.

Some munky trivia: Burnout Paradise and Uncharted are the first games I got for ps3.  And they're both still so good.
