Who here actually needs a camera for the burnout trophy? I think I've got a million ps2 and ps3 cameras. And burnout was my very first platinum.

I keep seeing articles about the Walmart ps4 scam, but I don't see any mention of xbones. Don't think Sony has much to worry about if people don't even want to scam cheap boxes.

If you guys really want to ship a camera around just to get a trophy, I guess I'd be willing to ship to somebody if they cover the cost. I'll need to verify that it still works. And for some dumb reason I'd like it back when all is said and done.

Any of y'all do that Loot Crate thing? Co-worker gave me a code for a free month so I'm trying it out. Been interested for awhile, but could never justify the cost.
I think I would try a month for free if given the opportunity, but I don't think I'd pay any more than that.

Lol I was in gamestop today to use a coopin that was expiring soon (bought ffx-x2). Some nerd barged in yelling at the clerk about his broken da collectors edition as if it were all her fault. Wasn't someone talking about this earlier?

Stop trying to make me buy it.

It has been a very long time since I played a racing game...
I helped you get those disney infinity trophies! You owe it to me to get burnout.

Actually, with all the burnout paradise love, I feel like I need to come clean. I really did not like it at first. I loved all the ps2 burnout games, but the open world was just too confusing for me. Especially any race that ended up in the east part of the map. I would just always miss turns and screw myself over a lot. But when they released the free bikes pack, I got back into it. The bikes are all so fast that you don't really need to worry about the times in the races so I got a lot more time to familiarize myself with the city while still making progress. Then I finally understood how great it is.

So the wireless Golds are on sale at Newegg for $45.  I said in the party yesterday I was thinking about buying some, but I actually got my super cheapo WiiU headset to work better and it's more comfortable than the earbud.  So wireless is the only thing I don't have with the WiiU set that I'd get with the Golds, so for $45 I'm still gonna pass.

I'm actually thinking about getting the camera though.  Then I can listen to people in a party and chat without having to wear a headset at all.  And my house is nice and quiet so it should work just fine.

I'm seeing them at $60. How're you getting it down to $45? I'd buy at $45.

I greatly prefer not having a headset on, or at least not a real headset. I hate that isolated feeling. As such I think the cheapo pack-in headset is good. Leaves one ear open. I'd rather have something like the 360 pack-in headset, but the ones like that for PS4 seems to have bad reviews on amazon.

I'd buy a second pair for $45. Isn't your birthday coming up? Do something nice for yourself. I'm sure you won't be filing for bankruptcy a week from now if you get them. It's not good to keep your cheeks clenched like that all the time.

So far I'm holding strong on that $40 South Park Stick of Truth CE on Amazon. Even if I could get $20 for reselling the game (which is a bit of a stretch) it would still just be basically for the statue. That map they included looks like garbage.

If the game came with a steelbook or anything else I'd probably cave.
I'd probably give you 20 shipped for the game

Does the pack-in PS4 mic suck? I'd like to have the Golds, but since I don't do much online gaming the only real use I'd get out of them is being able to hear the game better when everyone else is asleep. If the pack-in one is sufficient enough for online I probably won't bother.

Who nice that'd beat the 70 I was about to spend for them next week

It's fine. I don't listen to game sound over it. I send the game sound to the TV, and only chat to the headset, though you can have the game sound play through the headset too if you want. Just make sure you know which way is which on the mute switch.

House Forrester from Telltale's GoT has been revealed across multiple sites. IGN shows Gared Tuttle (steward to House Forrester) and has links to the others.

The only reason I've held off on buying the Golds is because they don't work with the Vita. Still not sure why they didn't go with BT wireless. So dumb. At $45, though, it's low enough to grab anyway. Gave the info to the wife so she can pick it up as a gift for any of the upcoming events: bday/anniversary/xmas which are all in a 12-day period next month.  :D/

Hmmm, are the Golds pretty awesome? I've also just been using the pack in mic that came with the PS4.
I love my golds, they are amazing mics, and I also use them for game sound when my wife is studying or people are asleep... I also use them as my regular headphones for everything else since they come with the cord... they cover your ears so they are near noise cancelling. Great buy at $45!

Just out of curiosity, does that limit the number of total gifts you can get?

They're super comfortable, and the sound is amazing. There's also a companion app on ps4 to set your own sound profile for both toggles on the headset.

It's not about the money, why buy something I don't really need? Like I said my WiiU ones work fine now plus the pack-in one is just fine too plus I'd rather have the camera (which is also $45) over the Golds anyway.

No the pack-in actually works great for chatting. I've never tried to listen to game audio out of it though, only used for chatting.

I just don't like it because it hurts my ear after extended use, like last night when I was in the Destiny party and those guys took 7 hours to beat the raid.

Not really. Her bday is on Thanksgiving this year, so all six gift-givings are within a 1-month period. If they were spread out more we'd spend more on each other for each occasion, but instead we just figure out how much we want to spend and then go with that. If I wanted a single big gift she'd just give me that instead of smaller gifts at each occasion, sure, but only an asshole would say give a single normally-priced gift just because two events are close to each other.

You don't think they might sell out at this price? The deal is on the front page of SD already.

She's buying the Golds right now, btw.  :D/

I actually don't really need them. The headphones I have for my PC are pretty good and I've got the PS3 audio fed into that. No chat option using that approach, though, and the PS3->PC connection does cause a bit of feedback for some reason so I always have to keep the line-in muted in my audio mixer when I'm not using the PS3 itself. So this'll be a bit more convenient.

Still bummed about the Vita part, but maybe it won't be too much of a hassle to use them wired for that part of it.

I would have bought them for sure today if I hadn't actually bothered to figure out how my WiiU ones worked yesterday.  So you guys taking forever on that raid actually saved me $45.

I just can't justify the $45 on something that will only slightly improve my experience.  Also, the WiiU ones I have do work on Vita, obvs, because they're wired.

These are the cheapo WiiU ones I'm talking about if anyone cares.

I use for my Vita when I travel, they are amazing wired headphones because they are comfy and fully cover the ears... cord isn't super long, but it is very easy and cheap to buy a longer one if needed, I never have.

Yeah...I paid $5 for them, I don't expect them to work for my lifetime. But I'll ride them out til they die then decide what to do from there. Probably get the camera. If I could find that for like $30 this BF I'd probably grab it. Haven't really checked the ads but I'd assume it's not on sale anywhere.
