AC really needs to add an ability to use a treasure map to put a custom marker down. It's stupid as shit to have to pull up your map, check your GPS coordinates, page through your treasure maps looking for something close by, go back to your map, and make a customer marker at the desired location. You should be able to just pull up your treasure map and press cross or something to have a custom marker at that location.

One other thing from the JC3 article in GameInformer that I just love: As you build Heat, an enemy appears on the map with a countdown for him to call for reinforcements. If you can kill him before the countdown ends, no more enemies will spawn once you clear the immediate area. No more having to die or run for the hills at Level 5 Heat! :whee:

Also, if you're close to death, everything in the world becomes desaturated except for the enemies so you can see them better. There are also no more medpaks, so you can regen to full health over time.

...I guess that was three other things. I WANT JUST CAUSE 3 NOOOOOOOW

I still need to do a key run to unlock that shortcut. Glad to hear it's pretty easy.

My DC run today sucked. That should give some people an opportunity to catch up. I blame it on the alcohol. Haven't had any in awhile and went out with some friends last night. So tired. But I was good and kept drinking water all night so I'm not hung over. Just tired.

I actually had an epic run (accidently on hard again, i dont know whats wrong with me, unlocked lost baby with isaac ;) ) but it was pretty awesome endergeek. I had the tanooki leaf, petrified poop and both poison and poop touch by the end of 2nd floor. also ending up getting some regen upgrade. so I could enter a room, not move, be invincible, turn everyone that touched me into poison poop, and then get a bunch of hearts/etc from smashing it all. Ended up beating it 4th time with isaac. woot.

Man. I'm still enjoying Rogue but it is a lot of game. I think it'd be better with about half as much extra content. I can't imagine doing this every year. This is my first time and I'm committed to finishing it, but this will probably be the only one I play to completion.

It doesnt show it upon loading your save? Thats where previous AC games kept that info.

Either way, I'm interested in it at $25 for Black Friday. Doubt it will go much lower for a while.

I still need to get Unity going as well, only in sequence 3 or 4. Really tough to play it though when I've got Far Cry 4, MCC, GTA V, and Dragon Age all staring me in the face...

The game save is not that large, no. The profile file is though. I have no idea why. I was wondering why I was getting failures for online backup and it was due to the profile being that massive. No idea why it needs to be that big.

Yo, in AC Unity at the beginning, why is there a big list of different assassins and levels? Are they like gonna be dlc later on or something?

 
As commissioner of the PSNOT Spelunky League, my first act will be to order a $10 PSN card for the winner of the monthly competition. Starting next month once the league is officially formed.

 
Well I did better than I expected to do in the Spelunky tournament. Figured I'd be battling for bottom 5, not top 5. Happy I grabbed a couple of first place days, but even more happy I finished ahead of MildPete & Vig.

Big congrats to Sophrosync & Cleaner.

Nope. It shows the save timestamp, but not play duration. I decided to check the PS3 game save utility and it does show more info there. I'm at 79.87% synchronization at 32h39m. Trophy-wise I'm at 47%, though that should be shooting up rapidly now that I'm starting to finish stuff off.

I've never understood nerds' obsession with Olivia Munn. She's got a rodent face. And I thought it was widely believed that Rodgers is secretly into dudes.

18 is cute. I trust my judgment more on the ones that have personal pics rather than all the airbrused to hell modeling pics. SEC QBs score some pretty hot chicks.

Yup, I remember those days when Rodgers and Braun spent way too much time together. They opened a restaurant together right down the street from me, which went under after the whole Braun ped thing. Though that restaurant is something new every other year. Then they weirdly got married like a week apart.
