Topside and Mild/Jeff/Pete/NotPete still need the 8 player and/or the freeburn challenges I think and there are some others I bet out there who didnt get to join last night so I wouldnt mind getting another 8 players together one night to knock em out.
I have to say, watching Gator, Simmias, RPG and some others fail miserably at a certain challenge over and over I felt like A GODDAMN VIG at Burnout. I hadnt played the game in 5 years and felt right at home after an hour or so.
I know Gator says he isnt that good at twitch games and damn he wasnt kidding. But I am still surprised some of you have the amount of trophies you do after watching that display.
The best part was sitting down off the road watching everyone try to finish that super jump challenge. I forget who it was (simmias, rpg or another) that was just about to finish the challenge for us as he made the final jump. He had plenty of air. Then hit the side of the

This one last trophy in Rogue is a bit of a grind--you have to capture 20 convoys. They spawn in random places on the map and the only way to force one to show up is to go to a tavern and buy information...but the taverns usually have no information for sale. I'm 10 convoys away from the plat.

You guys know if there are any controllers suitable for smaller hands for PS4? I can't seem to find anything. Looking for something for my kid; he uses a smaller one now for PS3 with the 360 controller's analog stick layout, and it seems to be easier to use for him.

I can't believe I went so long in my life without playing burnout paradise, that game is awesome and that multiplayer setup is downright brilliant. I did manage to get the 8 player trophy and a handful of others before I couldn't take my broke ass controller anymore. found another one and got it hooked up and charged now.

I'm also a boss at driving on the wrong side of the road. Now I want to try and see if it translates to real life.
The Best Buy early access thing seems to be going unprecedentedly well. Too bad I can't find anything I want. I'm tempted by Dark Souls 2 for $12, but I don't know why since I probably didn't make it half way through any of the others.
Edit: Anyone see Edge of Tomorrow? Worth a blind buy for $8. Rotten tomatoes score is pretty good.

Definitely--EoT is a surprisingly well-made and fun movie. I'm stunned by the quality of Tom Cruise's last two sci-fi outings (EoT and Oblivion).

I wouldn't call that a twitch game exactly, but I still sucked at it. To my credit, I had started landing it in most runs. I just happened to fail that last round on my first try and everyone else got it. At least I did not wilt under the pressure as I kind of expected I would. I grew up a platforming guy, so even though I may not have great skill at games I have perseverance. That is the main reason I have the trophies I do. I usually keep going until I get it.

I found it funny that the first time we tried that jump through the rock hole challenge, I was one of the first to make the jump after we found the path to it. But then every damn time after that I couldn't land on the cliff side that ramps up to it correctly. One time I even landed on the outside of the guard rail on the cliff. And I was definitely one of the schmucks that wouldn't believe y'all that I needed more speed and continuously drove face first into the rock wall. Damn fun time though either way. I think maybe a bunch of us were subconsciously failing so we could do that super sweet jump over the highway again on the way down to the challenge jump.

So this morning I finally made it to and beat Mom's heart in Isaac: Rebirth. Had a great run of items and was wrecking shop. Now to get the other 14 endings (yeah ing right).

To avoid bogging down the thread with more time setups for boosting Burnout, please use the spreadsheet.
If you have already gotten the trophy but are willing to help, fill in your row green like I did. If you have already gotten it, but do not want to help just remove your name (aka, the RPG option). If you haven't gotten it just fill in your name. We can do a PM to who is left at the end of the day to come up with a time that works for enough people to help those who haven't gotten it.

I updated my times for this week. Depending on the number of people on the spreadsheet and the times available, I could opt out for someone else who doesn't have the trophy(-ies) and/or who has a mic to take the 8th slot.
I'm not clear on if I'm supposed to be putting in general information, or specific dates. I decided to go with the latter. I think Tuesday is pretty much it for me, but it's possible I could fit it in another night. Tuesday is only one I'm sure of.

Yeah, I watched you drive off the cliff over and over again in futile attempts that were never going to succeed. It was funny especially when you combined it with simmias slamming into the side of the mountain on his last failed attempt of that run.
That super jump up there is the biggest one on the map I think. It is also the best one as the curve you have to drive if you dont hit that jump is really bad.

I deserve the grief. Assuming I actually saw the ramp and made the first jump, then I kept falling off the edge on the last section. Once that happened you had no choice but to start over.
I called it a hoop because I think that was in the name of the challenge. I do not subscribe to Tyler's Idiotic Names for Face Buttons magazine.

So, if I'm able to get in on the eBay PS4 deal, I have a couple decisions to make. I have LEGO Marvel and Skylanders Swap Force on PS3 for my kid as Christmas gifts. I can return LEGO Marvel and buy it on PS4 for the same price this week, but I can't do that with Swap Force.
I'm thinking of just keeping both, since he has the controller that is better suited for his hands on PS3 and it'll be less of a hassle. Maybe by the time we get ready to buy him PS4 games there will be more options for controllers.

I'm not one to stop someone from playing Batman, but Rocksteady appears to be acting as if Origins never happened. Interpret that however you wish.

I think all of us had some issues with that, but since most of us had mics we were able to work it out. I still can't understand how you did not find an on-ramp for the interstate before what seemed like 10 minutes had gone by and that it took you another 2 or 3 to get a near miss once you did. I think you only got that because I started driving next to you to try and get it done.The map sucks, had trouble locating some events

But by your post do you mean that the story isn't canon or something? First time I've heard that.
The map just works differently than in other games. The best way to figure out where to go, is to hit select to bring up the big map and plot out a possible route ahead of time. The only issues come when you need to find a way onto the Interstate. But as Gator pointed out, it shouldnt have taken you as long as it did. I had led you up there and then you fell off it a couple times. That was funny too. At first.

Man GTA servers for online suck so bad! Was trying to boost some this weekend and getting in and out of games required restarting the game and waiting for it to load almost every time!!! GOD! still need like 2 trophies boosted for it, but it is super annoying!
