I think I saw the first one about 4 tor 5 times in the theater when I was like 14. It was my go to movie for any girl I started dating that summer. Those were the good days..

I hate to break it to you friend, but going a night and a half of gaming without another save isn't "saving often". You gotta save that shit like every 30 min to an hour at least.

I'm regularly rotating between about 5 or 6 saves on New Vegas and keep saves at every point I level up.

I will say that a movie about giant reptiles eating people isn't what I would expect to work well for getting into a chick's pants. Maybe Equistina can weigh in on this, though.

I suspect this is an attempt at humor/sarcasm, but I'm not sure since I'm only used to seeing posts from you bitching about nitpicky details in various games.

My mixed feelings are that I feel like "regular" dinosaurs are enough. And it seems pretty dumb that they would create these unstable super dinosaurs at the same place where they have thousands of tourists visiting a theme park. On the other hand.. I'm happy to see a new Jurassic Park and will go in with an open mind since watching a movie about a super dinosaur can still be pretty awesome.

If it wasn't for them going AWOL last month for whatever reason, I would have put it as a for-sure for us to find out tomorrow. Now, I'm not so sure. Guess it could be as early as tomorrow or as late as Monday...

Oh I saved plenty over that time. After every mission. I'm saying that when I did the exchange (which supposedly fucks up the "don't sell anything" trophy) was a night and a half of progress ago. So that if I go back to that good save, I'd lose that much progress. I have plenty of saves to go to between when I did the thing and where I left off last night. But none of those will do me any good for that trophy. But it's all probably a moo point anyway because everyone in here seems to think that what I was worried about doesn't happen anyway and that I'm fine for exchanging.

I understand what you're saying but I have to try before washing my hands of the situation. It's just the way I am.

With the way he's responded to it though I think it's safe to say I'm done.
 
So I yelled at a manager yesterday at work. I was already having a shitty day as I said, and then this jerk kept hounding the crap out of me.

I'm working on this project where we have to call a bunch of clients. So all day Friday, that's what I was doing. I called one woman, she said she wanted me to talk to someone else, and put me on hold. Like 10 seconds later, I was hung up on. She didn't tell me who she was transferring me to, so I tried to call back and just got her voicemail. Tried a few times that day and never got back in touch with her. At the end of the day, we were told to send an email to all the people we didn't get to explain the situation to, so I did.

Then yesterday, this manager (not mine, another one) started asking me why I didn't get in touch with her. I explained the whole situation about being dropped during a transfer, not being told who I was sent to, etc. I started to get "Why didn't you leave a message?" Well, because the VP of our region specifically said on a meeting before and in about 100 emails last week to absolutely not leave voicemails on this. She starts reaming me out about how I should have left a message, blah blah. So I gave it right back to her. This woman is such a jerk to me all the time and I just couldn't take it. I told her to stop telling me how to do my job and that if she has an issue with the procedure, she should reach out to the VP who is telling us how to do things.

Well I didn't think I had to list everything I meant by "good enough", I'm pretty sure we all know sales is what drives the industry. The only number I can find is 600k copies, not sure how accurate that is.

The problem with dinosaurs as a movie device is that pretty much everything about dinosaurs in a movie is what's been popularized about dinosaurs in previous movies. Movie makers keep going with the movie interpretation of dinosaurs in order to pull in the existing audience and meet that audience's expectations. This is how we end up with the same dinosaurs in every movie acting and looking the same way in every movie. The movie becomes not about the dinosaurs but rather about the people in a dinosaur setting, which is pretty limiting as far as stories go. That's why we end up with stupid shit like genetically modified dinosaurs.

I imagine if it were cheaper to make dinosaur movies that we'd see a ton more range in the subject material. With the CGI requirements and such, though, you're really stuck with the huge productions which means that they go for very generic, shitty movies that are guaranteed to get a return on investment.

I made it all the way to the end, had him down to a sliver and forgot to run out of the hidey room before the shrieker spawned. It only took one hit from him, even though he does arc damage, so that was awesome. After that I rage quit and now I'm installing GTA V.

Which is at 23% still!

I can see how that would be annoying. Especially if it isnt your direct manager. The only thing I would say is that you could have just mentioned the communication from the VP about not leaving voicemail. It is never good to tell a manager to "reach out to the VP who is telling us how to do things." Or "give it back to her." Need to be a little more tactful than that.

Bottom line. She sounds like a bitch. Glad I work for a man.

I've noticed all the females I have worked with who have gotten promoted change once they do. It's like they were nice/friendly/I had nothing against them before and once they got a minor position bump or promotion they turn into Attila the Hun. 0.o;;;; I never understood why some people do that shit. It's never good to be mean to coworkers because one day they might hold the keys to your job.
