RPG, your game looks so awesome! hahahaha

I get girls moist just by looking at them :)

Get it. I've only put a little time in it, but I already love this game.

The best thing about Geometry Wars is that even though each version is completely awesome, the next one is so much better that it renders all previous versions useless. Geo Wars 2 is one of the reasons I still even had a X360 hooked up, but now I think I can officially retire it.
Yanks we got to do some co-op. I want to see your old man reflexes.

I love how they basically kept all the other modes so you can switch between 3-d and 2d

Looks like you can do the buy 2 get 1 at gamestop on the website tomorrow as well. When I click it, the mystery bundle shows up as one of my options to purchase..hmm maybe I'll go for it as my 3rd game....if not after kh 1.5 & Killzone trilogy I'm thinking either:

Mgs collection
dmc collecturn
hitman collection
Afrika
Bayonetta
castlevania los
Tearaway
or RE 5 gold edition

She sent me her snapchat in a private message. Thanks, snakey.

Geometry Wars 3 is pretty great. Buy it. Need more friends on the leaderboard. PsnProfiles doesn't seem to know what it is though - it's showing as "Unknown (06944)" there.

And thanks for the help with the Burnout Paradise 8-player trophies. I also got that jump over another player trophy even though I never saw it unlock.

Vig, we can still be friends. Only a couple levels in, but I'm having a blast with Kirby.

Also, I hate all of you with your Geometry Wars peer pressure. I bought it okay? You got me

All of you have super disappointing voices.
:/

What are we supposed to sound like?

Although I will say some of your voices don't match up with what I thought. I thought cro sounded like a thug when I first heard him  and he's the complete opposite. Zimm sounds like a California boy, and Tyler sounds like...votes from the community?

And I guess I'm lumped in with everyone else and just sound disappointing. Yeah!

(Ps I have no idea what I sound like really, I get different feedback across the board. Also I'm bored)

Got the Rogue plat. For some reason the last few times I played convoys just would not spawn. Tonight I knocked out around 10 in about 2 hours. Clocked in at 46h15m total. I'd say somebody familiar with the series could have done it in 35-40. I had a lot of wasted time trying to figure things out, like how to get to chests that were inaccessible from my area of the map, or not doing particular tasks in the most efficient way and ended up doing things more times than I needed to as a result.

Good game overall. Pretty fun, but the story is pretty pointless and it doesn't do anything to reveal the Templar's goals, motivations, and how they differ from the Assassins IMO. Just two sides of the same coin kinda thing. The stuff in the present time is stupid as fuck. It's in first person POV and you never learn anything about the character nor is there any story element at all in that time period. I don't think they even said the MC's name--one of the other characters just called him dumbass over and over again.

I will say it's very unbalanced. I finished the game with over a million pounds that I simply had no way to spend. At the very beginning you can run out of money, but other than that the only time you run into issues is if you're buying skins for upgrading Shay's health and such. Those can be expensive, with a single skin running at 20,000 pounds. I think I spent around 400,000 total on that simply to avoid hunting and whaling as much as possible as it's kind of a time sink. An interesting point of this is that the game is glitched for skinning; you have challenges for skinning particular creatures, but what triggers the challenge being completed is having the skin in your inventory. You can buy skins and complete the skinning challenges that way. Kind of silly.

The whole Naval Campaign is pretty pointless. The only thing you get out of doing it is to unlock gear and to complete the challenge/trophies associated with it. Once you've unlocked everything the only reason to continue that game element is if you need money...but by the time you finish the Naval Campaign you're swimming in money, so why waste your time doing it further? You also get a ton of tobacco in the game, which can be sold for money as well but serves no other function. On the other hand...to upgrade the Morrigan or to perform renovations you need other resources, such as wood or stone or (for some crazy goddamn reason) cloth. That's right--the renovations have crazy cloth requirements. The houses sure as fuck don't look like they're made out of satin, so I don't get that. Regardless, you have to rob caravans or supply camps in order to get those resources. Why is there no in-game market? I'm not joking when I say you get tons and tons of money...so why can't you use that money to buy the resources you need for other activities? It's such a stupidly unbalanced set of game elements in this way.

Again, I enjoyed the game quite a bit, and it was satisfying to complete everything, but as I've said before I don't think I'll be playing another AC game to completion. They're just not designed well enough to justify the time spent on extraneous fetch quests and jumping through pointlessly artificial hoops geared towards making you play longer. I'll definitely play story of the other games in the series, however--I'll just stop when I'm done with that part from now on.

You have a nice voice. It is distinguishable (obviously). I was just saying a lot of the voices I heard tonight weren't very distinguishable.

So I bought the Wii U bundle from Best Buy last night.

According to the tracking, it'll arrive tomorrow.
Mario kart?

I'm down to play on Thursday in the morning
Or afternoon before dinner time.

I know there was a few others who wanted to play but I forgot who they were now. (Crunchy, soph, geeky?)

Well that escalated quickly. I flew through ch. 1 and ch. 2 without much trouble, but now the HP of the enemies and the difficulty has ratcheted up quite a bit. I've been slogging through Ch.3 for 2.5 hours.

Maybe at some point, but I'm playing a bunch of stuff right now because of all the releases last week

Gonna eventually have to go online with Far Cry 4 for those couple co-op trophies. Glad that the collection trophies only require picking up around 20% of each collectible.

Also, managed to fall through the bottom of the world, but was able to fast travel to escape. Then, a couple minutes later, a special courier enemy spawned in the sky and fell to his death right in front of me.

Thanks to Velo, Papi, Pancakes, and Bums for hanging with me while we got the challenges started tonight.  I now have like 90 trophies for one fuck ing game.  Never thought I would see that.  Cops and Robbers is next up for me and Velo for sure.  If anyone else has that DLC we will be doing it tomorrow night I think.  The rest of you can do the regular challenges as the less people you have the better for those.  Goes faster.  But its still fun if you dont care and want to have a ton of people doing it.

Thanks to Gator for hosting the PS4 chat.

Thanks for everybody putting up with all my mistakes. Glad to see the patience.

I need to play Jak 3 soon. I got the collection from my EU PS+ account which expires around 12/9. Wishing I'd played 2 months ago instead of just a month or so back. Going from 2 to 3 so quickly will probably be rough. I'll knock out a couple of quick games before I start 3, just to get some momentum back after that heavy 2-week Rogue session. Probably start with Twisted Metal: Black since that looks to take ~5 hours. After that...not sure. Somebody make a suggestion for something I can knock out in ~10 hours or less according to my howlongtobeat backlog:

Remember Me

Splatterhouse (2010)

MotorStorm: Apocalypse

Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien

LittleBigPlanet 2

Jet Set Radio

NeverDead

LittleBigPlanet Karting

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel

Fuse

Devil May Cry 2

Killzone 3

Heavenly Sword

Jurassic Park: The Game

Lollipop Chainsaw

Ico

Zombie Driver HD

Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer

Crazy Taxi

Double Dragon Neon

Mega Man 9

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (2013)

Galaga Legions DX

Mega Man 10

These are my choices and checked howlongtobeat and they are all less than 10 hours (as long as you aren't going for 100%).
