Well how pissed am I that I bought the Modern Warfare 3 DLC day 1. Up until now it has taken several months for us to see any type of sale on the DLC, now we see one less than two weeks after release??

Tried it but all I get is the normal buy now or add to cart buttons.
 
Update is up. I didn't see anything special besides what we knew about. Some of those Tik/Creat games that are ALWAYS on sale are on sale. I wish Smash Cars would drop to $5 and I'd finally pick it up.

Definitely getting Closure tho, looking forward to playing it tonight.

Wait a few more months and you can buy the same game + DLC for full price all over again. ;)

While it sucks that during cutscenes, you don't actually see the character models like on the console version (which really makes it feel like a visual novel at times) & the animated scenes are now just stills, it's still a great game. I got it when it was on sale for $20 & still thought it was a good deal.

I'm trying to decide on Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble (which is still one of the best subtitles for a game out there). Glad to see it's finally under $10.

Curious about this as well. Debating on Catherine or some of the Summer Sale stuff. I'd really prefer a disc copy of Catherine though. I can see that as something that I would trade back eventually (and it will probably hold a decent TIV considering how long it has taken to drop in price).

really disappointed that atlus didn't put persona 3 for ps3 on sale. i don't play psp and vita games so their sale does nothing for me personally.

Yerah, they're the same games that are on the disc. The only thing you'll be missing, unless I'm mistaken, are the themes and bonus videos that I think are only available with the disc.

I'm looking at the PSP games. I'm going to pick up the Persona games and Knights in a Nightmare. Then I'll have enough to pick up one more of the $7.49 games. Any opinions on whether I should get Class of Heroes, Crimson Gem Saga, or Hexyz Force?

Not Class of Heroes. Riviera and Yggdra are in the same line of games as Knights in the Nightmare though.
 
For those interested in SSFIV AE, be warned that the load times between matches is pretty bad. If I wanted to play online, I have to load up the disc version instead since I had people rage quit during the long load times before. This is just from my own experience with the downloaded version.
 
Class of Heroes is only good if you're really into Wizardry-style RPGs. Crimson Gem Saga and Hexyz Force are both pretty good, though CGS's battle system is simpler and more tedious while Hexyz Force has a more by-the-numbers JRPG story that is split up into two stories for more replayability.
 
Man I wish I had a PSP or Vita, those Atlus games looks good. Money is low so I will settle on Crysis and Infamous Festival of Blood. :bouncy::D
 
Ooh - finally a deal on NBA Jam On Fire Edition. I think my son will be happy to get that. He's been playing NBA 2K12 almost nonstop and would probably like to play some NBA Jam again.

The free PS+ games are meh this month, but that was expected after the stellar selection last month. Was Pac-Man a free game before? I know I already have it so at the very least it was on sale before (probably around $5?) and I picked it up then. The other 2 don't interest me in the slightest, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes.

I already have nearly all those Atlus games even though I never play the PSP (think last time I turned it on was over a year ago) and don't have a Vita. Still, I will eventually get a Vita and it might be nice to have P3 for it when I do...

Riviera is ok, but slow. Yggdra plays more like a board game. Haven't played KitN, though have three copies...

As for Class of Heroes, I like dungeon crawlers from Wizardry to ASCII rogue-likes, but hated CoH. Balance being the main issue. Easy to the point of boredom, until a late boss that's nearly impossible.
 
Lame, I thought Gotham City Impostors was gonna be 50% off with PSN+. Since it's free it should be 50% off for non + members. I can't even get a 30 day trial to buy it half off now.

Yes, if you get a game for free through PS+, then purchase DLC for that game, both the game and DLC will be unplayable if you let your PS+ subscription expire.
