Escape Plan is a very unique game in terms of aesthetic, characters, and tone, and a lot of the puzzles are fun to figure out and finish, though you have to deal with often-wonky and gimmicky controls if you play it on Vita (which is where I played it).

EP has actually been one of the most updated PSN Vita games out there. I haven't played it in awhile, but they made improvements to the controls several times, and I think most of the early issues have been addressed.

but I know that defeats the purpose. EdmundM said they thought of adding a wiki ingame but didn't want people to check it constantly. Defeats the purpose considering I check anyway whenever I am having a great run and have to decide between items. Crazy enough I only beat the game once, the first time I played, with just random items and not looking up anything. I'v had 2 amazing runs since (dieing on
mom's heart and satan's feet
but I havnt beaten it since... Great game tho, glad I didn't get too interested beforehand since it had been 3 years to make. Now I just hope they made rogue legacy a ps+ game too.

 
I wasn't really asking for a wiki, internal or external, as I have a wiki that I check when I want to see what certain things do. Just an in-game codex to keep track of what you've seen and make it easier to know what items did for things that aren't obvious.

I'm pissed that Binding of Isaac erased my save in the sync process, so I have to start over again. :whistle2:(

They have that tiny tiny grid that shows what items you have unlocked. Nothing at all about what they do, but still pretty cool to see how much stuff is still unknown.

 
Weird - there's been some last minute changes to the weekly sales. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and FLOCK! have been added at $2.50 each, Everyday Shooter for $7.99, and Who Wants to be a Millionaire is no longer purchasable. I might've missed another game or two.

At this point, I recognize most things. Sure, there's the rare item I can't remember, but there are so few 'bad' things that I don't worry about it too much. Most passives are good through great, and most of the things I have no interest in can be dropped by holding select. And if I get a bad thing? Whatever.

The only thing I usually avoid like the plague is the
dead cat that gives you 1 heart but 9 lives
unless I already have
only one heart because I take most devil deals and generally play low heart games because I tend not to get hit much, though it's nice to have a holy mantle or the dark bum around

Been playing through on hard, just beat
Isaac
with isaac.

GOTY with aspirations of GOAT.

Yeah, I noticed that Who Wants to Be a Millionaire went from $3.99 to no longer purchasable. Yet, the DLC is still available for purchase. I had planned to buy it after I bought a $10 PSN card, but I guess it's too late now.

Did they mention anything about a discount for people who own season 2 on PS3? They did it for season 1, but they seem to be in the habit of dicking over PS4 users lately.

The first few premium packs for Driveclub are going to be free to all owners when they launch on 11/25 and they're adding some new packs to the end of the season pass to replace these packs. The free DLC adds five new cars, 22 tour events, 10 trophies, and 10 liveries along with the upcoming update that adds photo mode, some more fixes, and three new tracks along with reverse versions of each track.

Good to hear. I was starting to worry that Sony had abandoned Driveclub. It's been 2 weeks since their last update and the game is still pretty broken.

 
Would like some advice on Riptide. My wife and I enjoyed Dead Island, but we did have one complaint, which is the enemy scaling. Getting experience, leveling up and getting good gear is a lot less fun when all of the enemies scale to level. Is this still the case in Riptide?

It's been a while since I've played it...but from memory, yes. The gameplay is pretty much the same as the original for the most part.

 
Yeah, I don't like enemy level scaling either but you can see why they did it. A full team of four players makes short work of zombies at any level. You'll also be able to play online with anyone on any level since the enemies scale to your level. Everyone has played a game where you were only lvl. 10 and your buddy was lvl. 50.

Tbe alternative is something like Resident Evil Revelations with everyone online at max lvl. one-shoting everything.

Like everyone else said, the enemies do scale up, but IIRC, since I imported my Dead Island save into Riptide, the enemies didn't seem as tough as in the original since I was almost fully leveled up at the start (and was able to reach max level pretty early in the game).

 
Can anybody recommend Flock for $2.50?  It looks like a strategy game, but I can't find any online review that really suggest that it's worth buying.

 
I thought riptide was super awesome. I never played the original and I played the whole game co op. I was the wolverine guy with claws and healing factor and just went ham the whole game. Good stuff.

Does anyone know what the deal is with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire : Special Editions?  It's listed in the deals section of the store, but there's no price and no way to buy it.  A DLC pack shows up in the game information, but that's it.  Even a search for the game on the PSN store shows no results.

 
I'm a ps+ member and I'm trying to buy Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for $2.50 on the web store but it tells me "Enter 10-digit discount code" anyone know what it is. Thanks

No idea, I'm getting the same thing, PS+ discount not applying to that game but applying to others.

 
That's weird I bought it from the webstore on Saturday when I was queuing the ps4 games for November and had no issues. Maybe they are firing up a flash sale and it's messing with the store

It's got some really cool new features, like base defense. I enjoyed riptide though I never plat'd it... I think I was still a bit burnt out from plat'ing the original though (i absolutely loved the original).

I think anyone that enjoyed the first would enjoy riptide.

I would buy it and Saints Row IV in a heartbeat if i ever turned on my ps3 anymore... I want to play (replay/finish in the case of riptide) both, but can't justify spending money on ps3 games anymore when all I play is my vita/ps4.

 
So I was just buying the free theme posted above on the webstore, and noticed during checkout there's a interface to:

"Enter 10 digit discount code"   (apply button)

Is that new?  I don't think I've seen that before.  And...where do you get 10 digit discount codes?   PSN cards are 12 chars, so they dno't mean that.
