I think I liked the set of levels from the first game much more than the second game. By the end of it, I was pretty sick of the game. Didn't care too much for the suits they made for the 2nd game. Especially that shitty hungry suit.

Sometimes it takes a minute for it to show up for me, especially on the day of the weekly update.

 
Yeah it's a good action platformer.  I'm just waiting because I have it on PC and it's not cross buy.  Once it's cheaper I'll get it on both.

 
Catherine is also (again) on sale for $10 in US PSN since yesterday. Wonder why it isnt listed. Hoping for some good EU deals today :) 

 
I swear every single time there's a sale, I always wonder if I should buy PS Plus or not. Feels like I should just buy it for a whole year instead of just buying a month every time there's a sale. The price difference for Deception IV is almost the same price as a months worth of PS Plus. Not sure if I should buy X-Blaze since I sort of want it, but feel like I'm never going to get to play it because of my backlog and lack of time to get through it all.

You probably could of had way more months for the amount you spend buying 1/3 month cards. Especially if you get a year on sale.

PS Plus is so worth it. Though I'm sure you know that you're just afraid to take the leap. :razz:

Probably. It's probably worth to me if there's decent sales throughout the whole year. That's the only part I'm interested in and I think it was mainly because I just got a Vita a while ago so there was a lot to buy. Not interested in the "free" games since I just see it as a rental service. I'm fine with just buying my games. I also don't have a PS4 and don't plan on getting one.

Well just with sales alone I'm sure you will save more than the cost of a year. And you get some neat perks with plus. Like auto updates and the cloud. You won't believe how many times the cloud has saved me on a corrupted save or an old save from when I upgraded my hard drive.

 
I finally get into the PS now beta, and there's nothing (free) that I wanna play. I guess I'll play Space Ace since I had Dragon's Lair a long ass time ago.

Luckily I haven't ran into any of those issues. Still might consider it later on though. Going to hope for a sale on Black Friday and I'll give a year a shot. For now, I'm probably going to stick with just a month.

 
I had almost forgotten how glorious Mutant Mudds is, though it felt a little weird booting it up on the Vita. I still hate those damn disappearing platforms though.

what's the difference to you between the 'free' rental and the digital purchase? normally I see this from people that like to have their games on the shelf/keep them for resale/etc which I totally get. do you tend to go back and play games again a lot? strictly curious, you're totally entitled to not be interested in that part of ps+. for me once I finish a game I delete it and never redownload / repurchase so the ps+ free rentals are awesome for me, but I've recently learned that not everyone is me.

This is me. The vast majority of the free plus games I'd be interested in are available at retail, and I'm going to buy a physical copy of those anyway. I'd probably also end up feeling like I had to play every free Plus game to get the most for my money and that would absolutely drive me insane.

I agree. The first Pixeljunk shooter was awesome and the 2nd was boring and I just wanted to get it over with.

You should get plus just for the extra features like the auto synch and downloads alone. And you can always find cheap annual cards/subs somewhere on sale. I have never paid more than $40 for a year of plus and due to some sales I am averaging less than $30 a year. Many people are like me and have plus through 2016 and beyond.

count me in as someone who doesnt get the "rental" aspect of plus. I consider all my digital purchases as rentals too since I know I will never go back to a game years later and I dont expect PSN to be around forever either.

 
Finally beat Resogun after forgetting about it's existence for several months. Tempted to go back through the levels and save all the humans (I very rarely do stuff like that because backlog). I picked up the season pass for it, but didn't sink much time in it yet. Both new modes are survival-esque in that you only have one life. I tried out the one that is like Araknoid and it was good. I'm not much of a high score chaser so I don't know if either mode will grab me, I might actually look at the trophy list to find some goals to shoot for (see this is a situation where I think trophies are great, just don't expect me to start rubber banding my controller for an hour to complete 1/30th of a trophy requirement). 

Was excited to check out Valiant Hearts last night, but I only ended up with like 250MB downloaded after 4 hours. Will dive in tonight.

I've never understood this attitude, or the attitude of the "LOL you're just renting games, not owning them" people. With how cheap PSN+ was available for during black Friday, it became a crazy deal just on the "free games" basis alone and some of us have extended it for several years into the future. The bar is set very low to receive value. Count me as another one that doesn't really go back to games after I 100% them - so ownership is irrelevant to me. Don't get me wrong, I own way too many physical copies as well. But I'm not going to lament the ones I DON'T own on PSN+. That's just silly.

That being said, not sure what is up with the current changes to PSN+. I know they are doing away with the "instant games collection" the way it was (i.e. having 10 or 12 full retail games at a time). But if the rumored July update is true, that's an incredibly weak replacement to what we've been used to getting for the last 12-24 months. Hopefully it isn't a sign of the way things are going to be going.

It's for my own sanity. I can't keep up with the games I buy to begin with; I know I'd spend way too much time playing games I'd normally pass up through plus and my backlog, which is (mostly) games I want to play, would just continue to get worse. I don't expect everyone to understand and certainly don't expect many to agree with me, it's just the way I feel. There's no doubt that it's a great value though and I'm glad so many are able to enjoy the service.

 
I really hope the leak isn't true, bought Mind Zero last month because it was discounted and a new release. I didn't imagine it would be a plus game anytime soon.

So you aren't interested in "free" games since they're tied to the subscription, but you will pay for a subscription so you can purchase games at a reduced cost?

there is a demo for castlestorm i think

Deception i found boring as hell after a few hours

Dynasty warrior the type is very small

i say pass on all 3

i highly doubt mind zero is a plus game where did you hear it from. Leak probally got the PS+ discount messed up with being a FREE GAME last month.

i picked up a cart verison dirt cheap after renting it on Gamefly. I would say it would sold better at 20 bucks then 40.

Oh, that's Asia's games. We never get the same games as them. Maybe PS4 the same but PS3 and Vita have always been quite a bit different. Anyways, thanks for the link.

No way US gets Mind Zero. I'll guarantee that.

 
The "leak" is for Asia and is probably right for them.  That's where the Strider/Towerfall rumor started.

I wouldn't mind Towerfall and Ascension. Although it wouldn't surprise me if they throw in Knack somehow. I'd rather take the first two.  :whistle2:
