I have to disagree. I found FC3 excellent. Can't recommend it enough. Super fun. Almost did 100%. On the other hand, I found Blood Dragon trying too hard to be funny and lacks a lot of stuff from FC3. In fact, I didnt enjoy it at all.

I enjoyed and 100 percented both, not sure where all this negative is coming from. Also preordered 4 and I never preorder, can't wait until November 18th!!

I wouldn't call FC3s story bad as much as inconsequential. The game encourages you to explore the island and ignore story missions a lot of the time. Which is fine because that part is what makes the game loads of fun. Don't listen to those telling you to skip it and play Blood Dragon. I enjoyed the main game a lot more even though there is a lot of campy fun to be had in BD.

Thanks. I'm actually glad you and affa spoke up since I can trust your input. I try not to be nostradamus when it comes to PS+ but I have the sneaking suspicion they might offer this soon because of FC4. Plus, EU already got it. So I'm holding out at least for another week. Definitely will play now just to see what the goddamned fuss is about.

I didn't enjoy it either. The humor and the 80s references are fine; I just think the game is stupid hard and doesn't give you much of a chance to prepare yourself for the punishment it dishes out.

LEGO games always eventually drop in price. I don't see a reason to buy it if you're not going to play it within the next 6 months.

I love all things 80s. I've probably seen every movie that Blood Dragon draws inspiration from but it didn't hook me either. I don't think it's bad or too difficult, but it did come across to me as forced. I at least enjoyed the music.
 
Buy Lego for ps4.  You'll always be glad to have more ps4 games the day you buy it.  It's a nice feeling.   And it's not like you don't already have a ps3 backlog, correct?

QUESTION -- anyone doing the Destiny Beta...  I played around 4pm on Sat -- just did a quick solo mission because I was short on time.  Did I unlock whatever thing I was supposed to get?  Is there a way to double check?

I was too busy playing Crimsonland and Sorcery Saga to get real Destiny time in till this weekend, and I pretty much instantly regretted it as soon as I realized how little beta time I had left.  Destiny is freakin' awesome.   Still on the fence about buying it day 1 just because of time constraints, but dang, I love it.  At least i put time into the alpha.

Anyone know how the Halo loyalists are responding to it?  DId the beta win lots over?  I'm really hoping a new game takes over this gen from COD.

weird question... is there no 'sale' section in the ps4 store menu? Usually on ps3 you go to games>deals and there will be a section there for all sales of the week. I dont see that anywhere on the ps4 menu. Closest thing is a link to just the superhero sale only.

your suposed to get some emblem or something at launch if you logged in sat between 2-6... but i got no message about it at all. I was to busy saturday to do much other than log on real quick to try to claim the reward. Kinda sucked they closed them early sunday. i was trying to play the warlock to lvl 8 to get a feel for all 3 classes. HOneslty its a fun game but feels like it should be on PC. Matchmaking for missions is way too hard if you have no friends on. No way to communicate with anyone or /lfg or anything. The campaign itself is pretty fun though. I didn't really care for the pvp that much though

If you're east coast you missed it. It was 2:00-6:00 Pacific time, so 5:00-9:00 Eastern.
 
i take back about hot shots golf.  We had a cart based game last month so expect  either  2  indie games for the vita or  2  fighting psp games.  I highly doubt we get another cart based game for the vita

If they are, my purchases this past week will be my last digital purchases from PSN ever. I would hope they would at least have the decency to wait a month or more after a really good sale to give away the same stuff for free.

They do have that decency. A few years ago they did something like that and people complained and they said they wouldn't do it again, and haven't. That doesn't stop them from eventually going to ps+... I mean, I bought Muramasa this year and then it went free several months later. But that's to be expected - at some point, games might be on ps+.

However, since we buy things at prices we think are good and are comfortable with (hence the purchase), who cares if they go on sale / free a couple months later? It's no surprise things get cheaper and cheaper over time, buy when you're happy with a price. If they go on sale/free a few months later and you haven't played it yet (like me and Muramasa), it's not Sony's fault, it's yours/mine.

I'm glad I bought a ton of those Atlus/Sting psp games when they went on a big sale a few years ago ($2.50 - $3.50). They've gone on sale again countless times but now always at $5. To that end, if you're buying for backlog, just make sure you're happy with the price and all is well.

People will complain anyway, as if Sony is doing something evil by having sales prices get lower over time.

If it is ever free, it would probably be the vanilla version of Injustice that is free and not the ultimate edition since they are both on PSN. In which case if you are a DLC purchaser it would be cheaper to buy the UE now than it would be to pick up select DLC once the base game is free.

I am pretty sure it said something as I fired up the game but I haven't received an email or anything. And honestly if I wasn't home I wouldn't have cared that much that I missed out. Just happened to be a small window of time where I wasn't out.

If you're a fan of Infamous I think so for the right price. I think I got it for $5 on a sale and I got 2 or 3 hours out of it with getting all the collectables and stuff. I do hope for $15 that First Light offers a little bit more content than FoB offered.

If you don't know, I don't think anybody here will have the answer either.

I don't see Rainbow Moon being a PS+ title much like their other titles (Soldner-X/X2) not being PS+ titles either. They've only put RM on sale once a year since it was released.

I figured they might reveal it today to steal some of Microsoft's "thunder." Of course, maybe they figured the Microsoft reveal wasn't too exciting so they could sit on it until they can maximize the PR message.

just looked it up.. July was listed on JUNE 25 so wonder why they are waiting so long this month

That's what they've been doing since E3 last year anyway isn't it?

Hopefully we'll get a great month. I'm ready for Sony or MS to bring a retail game to PS+/GWG. Or maybe they'll give us TLoU free on ps3 :lol:
