I know I will be getting a PS4 next year, do you think its just worth buying the PS4 version now to start building up my collection or should I just hold off and just get the PS3 ver?

personally? in that situation i'd get the ps4 version.

a) it's something to look forward to

and b) something me and my friends experienced is that it becomes harder and harder to find time for a ps3 once you have your ps4. (especially me, who has little time to begin with)

 
What's the deal on Blackgate? Did I read right that it's only the VIta version on sale?

That Injustice (PS3) deal is tempting. 

Thoughts on Young Justice?

I purchased vita love....Injustice, Blackgate and Lego Marvel....couldn't beat those prices

I've got Marvel Lego on 3DS.  Not sure if it's worth an upgrade to PS4 or Vita.  3DS is fun so unless there is extra content it's probably not worth it.

I want to like Injustice on Vita, but it's not very good.  Maybe PS4 but I'm a bit gunshy after playing it on Vita.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for Vita is fun, but I have the card.  Maybe it's worth getting digital and selling the physical?  But then do I loose my progress?

 
I like the MK Ultimate for the Vita and review says Injustice is just as good as that one.
Lego Marvel Vita is the same game as 3ds version

you shouldn't lose your game for Blackgate...if you are worried ...save your game progress to the cloud first

It's about like MK vita, injustice I mean. It's not bad.
 
Geez! I was gonna get the Season's Pass for Injustice on the Xbox 360, but now I might as well get PS+ for a month and a copy of the Vita game for five bucks.

The Lego Marvel is the same as the Vita version. Unless you want trophies, you can get the Vita version. The PS4 is different from the handhelds. It's more open world with extra content.

If you're not getting a PS4 until next year, I think you're crazy to buy anything for it now. Games (both retail and digital) only get cheaper with time. While this sale is great, sales tend to repeat if you give it enough time or, even better, it might become free on PS Plus.

 
Never played a lego game before. Are lego games only for kids or worth playing as an adult? Any opinions on lego marvel super heroes specifically?
 
I like Lego games.   They have a certain charm and humor to them.  You have to play each level several times because you have to unlock certain characters with certain skills in order collect everything.  I have Lego Marvel PS3 and my son has the 3ds version.  The levels are similar.  The console versions have the open world of NYC to explore to find a lot of hidden characters and items and also to travel between levels.   Lego games are also a way to collect lots of easy trophies.

I really enjoy the Lego games. My favorite is Lego Marvel. Great for couch co-op. Me and a lady friend plat'ed it a while back. Also a great game to play with your kids if you have any. I'd compare it to a good Pixar movie, something all ages can enjoy. Sold my PS3 copy a while back for a profit, but I plan on picking it up again for PS4, just waiting for it to be $20 or less for a physical copy.

Lego Marvel is easily my favorite Lego game. If you like the Marvel universe, it can be fun as there are tons of characters to unlock.

I'll be picking up injustice PS4 and Lego Batman 2 on PS3.

 
Wow those sales.....

Definitely in for Injustice PS4. I was close to ordering it for $20 on Amazon but $8 is perfect. Would buy Lego Marvel as well but I have the PS4 version on disc. Highly recommend that game, got 360 version at launch and PS4 version recently, well worth it. At $10 it's a steal!

my wife and i really like some of them (indiana jones especially) but had a really hard time with franchises we didn't care about. all of them are 'more of the same' in that you destroy things for points, build things (automagically) to solve puzzles, with each character type having a different skill for puzzle solving/secret finding, and then add some light platforming and very light combat on top.

The biggest issue (at least on ps3, haven't tried the ps4 one yet) is that they never really tried to do anything else. The engine was showing it's age years ago, and they just pile on the franchises. We have several (indiana, batman, harry potter, star wars etc) and only really got into/loved indiana (our first, which might be telling).

BUT... at it's core, it's fun and easy. Lots to search for. Good couch coop. I imagine kids loving it.

I don't think I'd play them by myself? But with my wife, yeah. It's not that I'd hate it by myself, more that I'd pick something else to play, every time.

I grabbed Batman AO for PS3 and INjustice for Vita, considering Asylum even though I finished it on PC awhile back, just to have it with the others.

So actually it sounds like I can skip the Lego Marvel since Vita is the same as 3DS. I might want to try the Lego Marvel on PS4 if it's a difference experience. Thanks for that! Probably will get that then.

Yup, sadly all vita lego games are essentially up ports of 3ds game (plus trophies). I haven't played a vita one yet, but I've heard this basically means no open world and poor textures, but still fun. People that hate that sort of thing hate the vita versions, people that are willing to forgive it seem to enjoy them.

 
Even though they are not as open as the consoles versions, I enjoy the vita version the most. They are fun and easy to platinum.  

 
I got a PS+ subscription so I'm hoping by the time I get a PS4 late next year/early 2016 Injustice somehow goes free. But since I already own a Vita I misewell grab injustice for $4. Thanks! I read by a CAG that the framerate suffers but I've heard opposite from my friends, but for $4 I'll take what I can get.

I've heard nothing but bad things about Blackgate otherwise I would grab that.

Was hoping Persona would go lower. It's still $20 boxed on Amazon. I have credit to burn so I'm probably going to buy it there.

 
Damn I may have to nab Injustice GAU since that's a sexy price. I was holding out on buying a copy on 360 in like a year. Hmmm... It would be my first game purchase for my new PS4.

And man I want all of the PLAY 2014 titles, but I felt burned when I bought other games in similar promos. They're almost guaranteed to go free on PS+ or have really great discounts in the near future. Pass.

I agree that you could still understand what is going on, but I think this movie is definitely intended to be watched by people who have seen the show and are familiar with the characters. Not that others couldn't enjoy it, but I would recommend watching the show first to get the most out of the movie.

It's one of my favorite shows and is free on Amazon Prime Instant Video, but I would warn people that the show was cancelled after season 3, which ends on a cliffhanger.

 
Any way to 'order' the free ps4 games without a ps4? Have ps3 at and plan to get ps4 later, but would like to start a games collection now.

Yes. You can add them to your cart, purchase them, and then download them at a later date.

 
Bought Marvel Super Heroes for PS4 and Rogue Legacy pre-order for PS4. Anyone know anything about the other three "play" titles? I know Rogue Legacy is going to be worth it.

 
Glad to see Lego Marvel going on sale. I've been skipping a lot of great deals for the PC version, but wanted something I could couch co-op. Of course, this means I will need to get a second controller too...

I hate Lego games. I cannot stand them.

Lego Marvel is incredible. It was more fun than most any other game I played this year.

It was so good I am actually considering buying it for PS4 even though I own the PS3 version just to play a somewhat better looking version.

It seems the blog listed the ps4 price wrong so I ended up paying $10.50 for the ps4 version.

I did notice that the Lego Marvel download is 5GB or I wouldn't have bought it. I hope there isn't a huge 50GB patch or anything lol.

I almost bought OlliOlli and TxK the last Play sale like this they had, and both those games were under $5 within 4 months.
Lego Marvel and Injustice were must have PS4 games before, no excuses now.
 
Rogue Legacy is awesome.  Got it for under 4 bucks during a Steam sale.  Worth it at any price.

Same for The Swapper.  A truly awesome experience.

EDIT - Wasn't OlliOlli supposed to be out today for PS3?
