I fully understand what I'm doing in Hohokum, but it seems like that game is either really bad at checkpoints or doesn't have them at all. I had to quit out before I was done with the roller coaster area and when I returned, it seemed like I had to redo everything and only keep my eye collection count from before. I also have no clue what the trophies are for, so I'll have to look that up.

It's supposed to be worth it. Improved AI, lots of new content, added gameplay elements, and major melee/projectile balance fixes, etc.

This is just going off what I've read -- people seem really happy with it. It's too $$$ for me to actually pull the trigger though.

 
Went ahead and bought Delta for $17. Loved the first one and don't know when there would be another discount on it.

Should be finishing up Uncharted soon so will have to decide whether to begin FFX or Delta next.

The Sword Art Online game sounds really interesting, and I want to get it, but I know that in two months it'll be $20.

Definitely FFX, so that we can have another reason to keep this thread at the top. It's a fantastic game, and is my favorite of the series, followed closely by 7, 6 and 9. I haven't played FF 14 Reboot yet, but it does look like something that I would like as well.

So are Pirate warriors, and Saint seiya, and a ton of other video games, I'm not talking about a price drop, I'm talking about a sale.  I also don't think that it's not worth $40, I just hate paying $40 when it'll be $20  on sale 4-6 months later.

Saint Seiya came out last November. I'm not saying it won't be $20 in a year, but it won't be $20 in 2 months.

I'm very close to finishing X.

I like it...I guess. It is so blatantly anti-religious though. It is like the polar opposite of trying to read the Left Behind series.

 
Damn these sales. My 500 GB hard drive I put in not that long ago is getting filled up too quickly. I've never watched or played the One Piece: Pirate Warriors games, but they look right up my alley. I'll probably pick up both of those tomorrow, along with Persona 3: FES

 
So is it official that SAO Hollow Fragment will be $40? I see it being thrown about but don't remember seeing anything official.

It will go cheaper it seems as Atlus games constantly go on sale, they end up being cheaper and cheaper. Something tells me that will end up around $5.

Is it worth picking the first one if I bought Pirate Warriors 2? Want to know if I'm gonna be missing out on anything by skipping the first iteration.

Picked up Blazblue:CSE for vita, Persona 3, Pirates 2 (been waiting on this one for awhile!), Mamorokun Curse (Can't pass up on shmup at this price), and ToS! Glad I waited on some of these instead of picking up last time they were on sale.

I use psp cases for my psp and vita. I've posted the link a few times here, but i just checked and Best Buy seems to finally be sold out (they were clearancing them for like $3 shipped for ages). So while I can no longer point you to a specific one, it's worth expanding your search if you're looking for one on the cheap.

I didn't get that. The Church was hopelessly corrupt, true, but videogames like to have an evil authority figure. Not nearly as corrupt as the Church in Final Fantasy Tactics. Besides, every JRPG needs an excuse to have a final battle against God. That's just the law or something. The series went out of it's way to show that the Church was the only thing keeping people from collapsing in to despair, and you can choose to side with them to rebuild during FFX-2. Of course, they don't exactly come out looking good there, what with the shady past and the bonus boss being a nihilistic kung-fu monk, but at least they weren't evil.

 
The Devil Summoner games were recently 3.99 so I'm banking that the other SMT games will sink there eventually. Will definitely fill out the rest of those titles for my digital collection at that price.

Probably would have grabbed the Blazblue vita game (only to never play it) but it's a rediculous file size and the Sony Vita memory tax is brutal.

Haven't bought either, but from what I hear, Pirate Warriors 1 is good if you want the manga/anime story from the beginning to the Marineford arc. PW2 is a new arc made just for the game. PW1 also has some platforming/puzzles, compared to the second that's just pure Dynasty Warriors.

I don't know why it took me this long to figure it out in Rogue Legacy, but every full line of enemies you see on that death screen, your next of kin will be that many levels higher than the most recent descendant.

No problem. I just checked, the one I use is the 'Rocketfish Starter Kit for PSP'. It's got two soft elastic straps and fits the Vita nice and snug. Fits mem/games/earbuds etc. Protective enough for travel.

Like I said, Best Buy was clearancing them for 2.99 shipped for like a year... amazon has them overpriced (i think a used one is like 12). But I didn't look hard, you might be able to find them cheap online somewhere.

The Wheel of Fortune puzzle gave you like 10 points a day if you were willing to do it. I got an email a few weeks back saying they were finally going to end the promotion, but i can't remember when it's supposed to end. if it's still up, it's 10 points (per day) for typing in the answer to the final WoF puzzle (easily googled).

SonyRewards lets you pay the remainder with money so if you're only ten points short, you could just do that.

Wheel of Fortune stopped giving points earlier this month. I've been doing this for a few months now. I am 86 points from a $10 card. You can get 1 point per dollar spent on PSN if you link your account. Otherwise buy Sony movies. Don't know if the Sex Tape movie game is still available for 250 points.
