That's exactly what they are. Those games were made by Tecmo Koei, who have pretty much been responsible for nearly all dynasty warriors style games.

No, OP is correct. I think you were looking at the PS+ section of the OP which is why you saw 75%. Under the regular sale section, the Tom Clancy games are mostly listed as 50%.

For some reason on the Sony PSN online store (The one I use I hate browsing through the consoles) when I'm ready to check out it goes straight to the fill your wallet part which I then put my card info in and it fills it up in 5 dollar increments. This occurred when I ordered something from the PSN last week. I used the Paypal option before but didn't see it recently. I could be wrong of course, and next time I order some PSN titles I will be sure to check for the Paypal option.

I'm talking about Splinter Cell HD, Pandora Tomorrow HD, and Chaos Theory HD which are listed as $7.49 / 75% off in the non-PS+ section. That's 50% off, not 75% off.

Quick question: Does Xenogears (PS1 Classic) ever go on sale? I'm kind of interested in picking that up soonish but will wait if it goes on sale at least once a year.

It's an S-E game and usually when they have sales it's mainly Final Fantasy games, with or 2 other games thrown in. I don't think I've seen it on sale too recently.

 
rouge legacy (VITA) or whatever its called.  when i downloaded it it was 451 MB  now the store shows  1.5 GB  any clue why.

I simply misread your post where you were specified "HD" as I didn't see it when I originally read your post. Sorry I made the mistake of misreading two letters of your post. I didn't bring up any mention of where the math came in, I only referenced the percentages. So congratulations on making the same mistake of misreading and taking a step further to sound like a douche.

It was up for a Reader's Choice award that would've earned it a sale, but people chose the port of Chrono Trigger instead that we've had sales for once a year or so. That was the closest it has been to a discount.

The option still shows up on the console versions, just not the online store for whatever reason. You can still fund your wallet with Paypal if you go to it directly, though.

 
Thanks for the answers regarding Xenogears. Will probably pick it up for full price once I've finished Xenoblade (which is totally awesome, by the way).
 
Anyone know the last time Parasite Eve 1 and 2 went on sale? I want to pull the trigger but $5.99 each is a little too much for me right now.

Why are they doing this? Rogue Legacy unlocked at midnight, but all games in the Play promotion since have unlocked when the store updates.. seems silly.

I thought they were on sale once, because I picked them both up a while back, along with Xenogears... Even if they were full price PE1 and Xenogears are worth it. PE1 was as good as I remembered, but I had never played PE2 before and its tank controls were so awful I quit and deleted it before I even made it out of the tutorial level. Ugh. If you've also never played it, better make sure you really want it. Wish I had checked some reviews instead of assuming it was good just because it was from Square's heyday.

The Swapper unlocked at Midnight PT and I think Hohokum was 10 AM ET, so this is the latest yet. I don't know why the time is so late, but they are set by the developer/publisher.

 
Any word on counterspy? Terrible writeup on ign a year ago about how it looks great but plays terrible. Wonder if developer fixed that. Hate to preorder because problems highlighted seems serious. I haven't seen any reviews yet in the wild.

Yea, I think they were on sale at one point because that is when I bought PE1. Should have bought Xenogears too. Didn't buy or play PE2. Heard it wasn't as good.

Rumor i heard  for the vita was   

Dynasty Warriors Next and the pool game but i think that site was taking games that was on the EU  (like dragon crown)

know for a fact  it wont be another  RPG type game for awhile with  2 of them coming out  2 months in a row

Based on no reasoning at all, I'm going to guess that one of the games is going to be AC3, since it's one game that comes to mind that the EU got that we didn't.

By that logic, I predict Catherine next. I want from the European PS+; Catherine, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Dead Space 2, Bulletstorm, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Metal Gear Rising, The Jak and Daxter Trilogy, and Mortal Kombat.

Bought Catherine at release and it was FANTASTIC. Extremely challenging and I loved the way the story played out. I would gladly take that again since I traded it into Amazon while I was still able to get around $30 TIV. I would also love it if they gave us Motorstorm Apocalypse.

It saves and uploads to the cloud automatically, so when you start it on the other platform, it'll probably mention that the local save is older than what is on the cloud and ask if you want to overwrite the local site with the cloud save and continue from where you left off.

Yes, we're back!

You may be thinking, "Didn't I see this game on Kickstarter before?" If so, you would be correct. We ended our first campaign early for a variety of reasons, most notably, that we thought we could do things better.

What has changed since the last campaign?

In the time that has elapsed between our last funding attempt and now, we are thrilled that not only have we been Greenlit for release on Steam, but we have also been announced in grand fashion for release on the PlayStation 4!

We have also made great progress on the game itself. In our quest to deliver the highest quality experience possible, we have been hard at work retooling many of the core systems based on feedback we've received. We have nearly completed this phase and are about to begin the production of the remainder of the game.

Why do you suddenly need less money?

Many things were up in the air during our first campaign. We estimated our various licensing fees based on what we knew about the costs for the previous generation of consoles. Since the last campaign, much of this has become clear and we are very happy to say that the costs for the necessary licenses are far less than what we had anticipated.

Also, a year has elapsed since our last campaign. Many of the things we originally planned to outsource with funding, we ended up completing internally.

So what IS this money going toward?

We are incredibly excited about Ray’s the Dead, and believe in it so much that we quit our jobs to work on it full time. We have been self-funding the development of Ray’s the Dead for the last two years with our savings and the financial support of our loving wives. We are committed to this game and are willing to continue down the path of self-funding, but without some additional financial help, some aspects of the game will suffer and some will have to be cut. To avoid this we are looking to the community for help.
There are few key areas that require additional financial help:

  • Licenses for the engine and various software we are using for development.
  • Paying our talented contractors, musicians, writers, and artists to help us finish the game.

Additionally, if we are fortunate enough to surpass our initial goal, we intend to use the money to hire on additional staff. Additional support will go a long way toward helping us meet our deadlines, add additional features, and make sure Ray's the Dead gets the shiny sheen of polish that it deserves.

Yeah I did something weird on my PS4 version so I don't know if I want to start my Vita version now. I do have a save file in the cloud for Vita
 
Managed to finally scratch my Vita screen today. Accidentally knocked something onto the cord it was charging with, causing the Vita to flip into the air and hit the fan that had fallen on its cord. At first I thought it was just schmutz on the screen, but it appears to be 3 faintly yellowish scratches.

Edit: Phew, after some vigorous rubbing with a lens cloth, the yellowish stuff disappeared. I think it was possibly something that was in the scratches a little. The scratches are pretty much invisible now with the yellow paint or whatever it was missing. Really need to get a screen protector.

3 weeks later i figure out what LOCK DOWN THE CASTLE MEANS :)

Game does get boring after new game + 4 i mean all you do is Do fast runs and lock down the castle and can beat the game in less then 30 mins each run though.

up to new game +6 now and found everything in the game.... Anyone know what MOCK THE TRADER means

Assuming you unlocked the
Traitor
class, you have to enter the final boss's room with a character of that class.

found out i never will get that since you need to beat the 4 special bosses and i cant even kill the eye. o well

Man I gotta stop procrastinating on these sales. Almost forgot to buy One Piece Pirate Warriors this morning. Already bought the sequel in a previous sale and now I can finally play the first one first. Enjoyed Unlimited World Red so much that I stopped only a few hours in and decided to check out the show... I'm ~160 episodes in and will probably just watch the entire series (including subbed stuff) before going back and finishing the Red. I'm hooked big time. Damn you colorful cell shaded games!
