Yeah, that was a pretty bad jackass post and I apologize for the tone. It is sad that we likely won't see more up ports of Capcom classics, at least no time soon if they ever do more.

Divekick Addition Edition coming out on Oct. 7th for PS4. Not cross-buy cause its a different version of the game.

Johnny Gat is the new playable fighter.

 
My old Batman AA save file should work with the download right?

I recall something about saves for a batman game not being compatible with a game of the year version but maybe that was AC?

Hence why I said I hope it feels like a full game and not just a paywall ad. Less content is one thing but if it's constantly prompting you to buy the game or doing it's best to make it feel like a lesser experience then it's just a fancy ad instead of a perk for PS+.

I don't usually pay attention to the completion rates for DLC trophies, as those who play the DLC usually know the game well enough to go for most, if not all, of the added trophies.

I'm not sure I am clear on what you're saying. If you play through the game, wouldn't you know the game well enough to get the trophies in the DLC?

It kind of has to advertise that there's a ton more content to unlock for $50, but I'd be surprised if it ends up being the console version of a shitty free-to-play mobile game.[/SIZE]

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. I sometimes gravitate towards playing games that have trophies with lower completion rates as a personal challenge, hence why I usually base DLC purchases on whether they're well-crafted and/or I enjoy the base game enough to pay for more (e.g., Velocity 2X) due to the overall higher completion rates.

Gotcha. For me, I just want to know if it's any good. I am also thinking about grabbing Mirror of Fate HD for the hell of it.

Strangely enough, I've been watching a Let's Play of Batman: AA the last few days.  Of course, I've already beaten it, but was just taking trip down memory lane.  One good thing though, I played it on 360 and missed out on the exclusive Joker challenge maps.  I'll DL it just to run though those real quick.

I kicked myself after passing on Spelunky when it was real cheap around Christmas.  I heard it was one of those hard games and just wrote it off.  However, after watching many Spelunkin' with Scoops episodes on GiantBomb, I thought I'd at least have a chance to get through some of the game.  I just didnt want to drop major coin on it.  That the Vita version is coming is just right for me.

Dust was great, really liked it on 360, but I probably wouldnt play it again.

EDIT: I didnt realize that I play my 360 so rarely that Dust is still in my recently played icons in my sig. Heh.

No worries, I know you're just happy to save money on a great game. If you have an Xbox 360, a nice SNK sale just started today - Garou, Neo Geo Battle Colliseum, KOF '98 and 02UM are all $5, no Xbox Live required.

Omg, that's one of the most exciting deals for me in a while. Especially since I'm sure my 360 and arcade stick have been feeling a little neglected since I got my PS4.
 
Would the drive club season pass work with the ps+ free drive club
 
So I'm on the fence about my next move. I  was recently looking into getting a sony wega TV( anywhere between free to $25 on craigslist, tons in my area) and a PS1 and 2, super nintendo, genesis to do a little retro gaming. Related to this because one series I never got to play was metal gear. Any advantage to playing this on its original system vs. buying it on psn now? Same goes for silent hill.

I am actually really happy they didn't put it on sale. I bought it a couple weeks ago after losing patience waiting for a sale. I almost cried when I heard Konami was doing a sale this week. I may end up getting PSP version of Peace Walker now, since it seems they have no intention of putting that on sale either.

No advantage really. I played MGS 1-3 on my ps3 and vita.
 
I know I have weird hours but it was frustrating that PSN went down for a couple of hours last night/early this morning when I was just getting ready to play Destiny. Or new maps on PvZ. Or the new maps on Killzone. Gosh, I didn't realize how dependent I've become on PSN being up.

Regardless of what format you play the older generation games you should still pick up 1 or more Sony Wega's whenever you can. One to use & the extra/s for parts.

Just my 2 cents =D

I thought the newest PS Vita was thinner than the original. How is it that your new model won't fit in the case? Honest question, not giving you a hard time.

I'm not sure why, but the new model doesn't fit as snugly into the Vault Case as the old model. I'll try again this evening.

I did look at that case, but the 3-star review mentions several drawbacks (can't choose color, Vita isn't fully immobilized when the case is closed, and the case doesn't fully close on the left and right sides) that discourage me from getting one.

 
Ok. I just got an email and it said that only the first 20,000 people to claim it will get in. I guess I must have been too slow even though I did it as soon as I got the message on PSN. It also says the servers go live Oct. 4th at 5am PDT and ends OCT 5th at 8am PDT.
