Grabbed the $3 Alice Madness Returns bundle. It includes the original Alice game, too.

It's still $30 used at Gamestop; can't beat the price.

 
I'm trying to grab some of the sale items on the webstore using my phone and I'm stuck in a credit card confirmation loop. After I confirm purchase in my cart to add funds, I get a pop-up that tells me to enter my credit card security security code on the back. I do, and it takes me back to my cart. I press confirm purchase again and the pop-up shows up again. Anyone else have this problem before?

Happened to me last week when attempting to purchase some Mass Effects. Ended up buying through the PS3. Maybe you could try the "request desktop site" option in your mobile browser.

Edit: just bought some stuff on my phone via the desktop version of the store. Must be a bug on the mobile side.

I've been keeping my eye out for a deal on this. I've heard good things about it. I usually buy physical when there's the option, but I doubt I'll beat $3.

Geometry Wars 3 is pretty good from the bit I've played so far. If you want the classic modes, it has five of them from GW2 (Deadline, King, Evolved, Pacifism, Waves). It also has a platinum.

I wish preorders were more consistent.   I had to wait until midnight to play Destiny but Geometry Wars 3 unlocked at 9pm PST.  I was considering getting Geometry Wars 3 but was waiting to see if any digital black friday sales on other games were announced first.  Ah well, at least it has a platinum, anyone know if the preorder levels were any good?

 
Hoping for some good Black Friday deals from the Playstation store. XBL has some pretty good ones so hopefully sony Tries to one up them. Hoping Rayman Legends and Far Cry 3 are on sale for pretty cheap. Would be awesome if Destiny went down to $40 since it will be on sale in stores some places for $40 but I'd rather have the digital version.

Man i thought maybe they would put the sales out on weds, or at least tell them when they tell the new PSN stuff. Hopefully some good psn+ crap in dec

Pocket RPG hopefully cheap seems 2.99? may grab it for that price (not sure if that is vita price or pc price)

Thanks for the info. I gave up on using my phone all together and bought them on my laptop when I got home. Next time I'll try using the desktop browser.

There will be no trade-in value once you're done with them, so that makes the decision a little easier. Of course, you can't loan them to friends if they're digital...

ME1 and ME2 Deluxe are worth the investment for the price vs what you get. ME1 only had two DLC packs (which are both included, I think). ME2 Deluxe has all of the ME2 goodies. ME3, alas, doesn't have a Deluxe edition yet. If they did, I would have bit on all three. But I think it'll be cheaper for you to nab ME1 and ME2 Deluxe while you can. ME3's going to be the big investment.

 
How long are the Mass Effect 3 DLC's? I played all 3 games on 360 and have been waiting to get the DLC on that system but these deals might make me play ME3 again on the ps3. especially since Omega was free too awhile back

This and the fact that I have a 500 gb PS3 The Last of Us bundle on the way pleases me. Now I can buy Raiden IV Overkill at full price for $19.99 and I won't feel like a dummy. I don't expect that game to ever go on sale.

We're three days away and they've said nothing so far. This is a new Sony that doesn't give us any heads up on deals as often as they used to with the old style of PS+ releases.

We'll probably just get deals today and maybe a flash sale for the weekend for a Black Friday offering.

I've been waiting for Raiden IV: Overkill to go on sale too, but you may be right; doesn't seem like it will go on sale anytime soon, and it's well worth having on PS3 (already have the base game on disc for 360). Sad how few shmups have made it over to PS3, most are 360 only.

Yeah, I already have Mamoro-kun, Raiden III and Under Defeat. I might purchase Castle Shikigami 2 as well, but yeah, there aren't many on there at all.

For about $20 you get the base games, plus all the DLC for 2, of which some is not in the Trilogy release. At least get the ME3 DLC if you're interested as none of it is in the Trilogy either. I think the Trilogy itself still floats around $30.

Otherwise comes down to how much you care about having a physical copy. Personally I almost jumped on this even having played them to death on 360, but I know I'm too backlogged to replay ME for a while. Hell, I'm going through Dragon Age Origins, Awakening, and 2 (yuck) again before playing Inquisition.

Ugh, I don't have that much to spend on PSN stuff right now. At least it's only a one week period this time so it will be easier to know if there's enough on sale to get you there.

 
cool cool cool.  i'm probably gonna trade in my GTA5 and buy digital, if there is a sale on another good game or two that'll get me to $40 more its an easy buy

i'd love GTA5 + TLOU + some-small-indie-game for $100 - $15.  can't be all msrp though, it doesn't feel good

Don't forget Soldner-X/X2, Velocity Ultra/2X, Super Stardust, Pixel Junk Shooter 1/2, Blast Factor, Astro Tripper, Gravity Crash, Hitogata Happa, GundeadliGne, Gundemonium Recollection, 1942, Alpha Mission II, and Heavy Weapon. There's probably some others, but I don't remember them all at the moment.

It seems like we wouldn't get deals if they are running that promo since that promo is a "deal" itself. Hopefully Sony will be doing both. I'm sure they wouldn't mind getting back some of the attention that Microsoft has been taking so much of lately.

II've been looking to buy TLOU (again) as well, but buying the game for $50 digital, even with the $15 back promo factored it, would be a mistake. With the upcoming release of the BF ps4 bundles, TLOU digital prices are going to tank even further

 
Only things that stick out to me are Arcana Heart and Chaos Code. The former is still a bit high for my taste (especially for digital) but I'll probably bite on the latter. Depending on the Black Friday goodness if I end up being close to the rebate I'll probably bite on Arcana anyway.

A few more PS3 shmups to add to the list... Sine Mora, PixelJunk Sidescroller, R-Type Dimensions, Space Invaders Infinity Gene, Galaga Legions, Xevious Resurrection (in Namco Essentials) and Titan Attacks. If you want to include arena shmups too, there's Ion Assault, Everyday Shooter, PowerUp Forever, Big Sky Infinity, Nucleus, and Dark Mist. With a JPN PSN account, you can also get Ketsui, Raystorm HD, Dark Mist DLC, and several PS1 shmups.

There are probably a few others too...

Dear god how could I forget Space Invaders Infinity Gene and Galaga Legions... Two of my favorite downloadable games in recent memory.

 
Well that's a big meh for me.  Little to nothing that's not a repeat and half the list is just padded with multiplat games.  The rest just seems to expensive.

Yeah, there are some great games on sale, but the prices are pretty meh.

I think I'll have to pick-up Rayman Legends on Vita for $13.29, though. Origins was FANTASTIC on Vita and I've been waiting for Legends to be added to PS+ or get a big discount. This might be as good as we ever get...

I would wait, Rayman Legends has been out for some time I think it will go lower or be one of those PS+ games.

Agreed. Most of the PS4 looks like free plus games.

That said, is Soul Sacrifice Delta a big improvement over the original? I really like SS but would want more than just new content to warrant a purchase considering I have a big backlog already.
