No, it's a Cross Buy thing, so there's no transferring BS needed. Buy it on PS3 and you get all of the DLC on PS4 for free.

Well the way they've been wording it in the promotional stuff made it sound like it was going to be a transfer like the next gen upgrades. I'm playing on PC so I'm golden.

It's a transfer for save stuff since that's all handled on Dice's end, but stuff on PSN is handled automatically like anything Cross Buy. Just log into your account on PS4 and it'll see that you purchased Premium on PS3 and make that stuff free on PS4.

 
Sure it's already been mentioned, but I just found out about Amazon matching the $30 Black Friday PS+ deal. Ecstatic about this since I really didn't think I could stomach going to GameStop.

It's unfortunate that some of you aren't enjoying Hotline Miami. I think it's just one of those games where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Yeah, the combat leaves something to be desired, and its aesthetic can be grating at times, but it all coaleces wonderfully. Plus, the animal masks are weird. I like weird. I like you, too.

I'm definitely waiting before I jump on Blackgate. It might be serviceable, but it's disappointing that it appears to be so mediocre. The Arkham games EASILY rank among this gen's best, so I don't understand why it was greenlit. Being on a handheld is no excuse -- other popular series have made that transition flawlessly. Honesty, the entire Origins entry feels rushed and unneccesary to me, but I'll reserve judgedment.

Also, not sure if anyone listens to the CAGcast, but I gave it a try the other morning and, to my surprise, it's realllllly good. CheapyD is hilarious. Don't know why I assumed they'd only be discussing game deals, lol, but it's not that at all.

Not sure where that info comes from, but definitely good news. With all of the other one off sales from other retailers this week I'm good to skip GameStop too as long as that Zelda 3ds xl shows up somewhere else. Sucks to be the early bf leak I guess.
 
Would something like a retailers Battlefield 4 Premium code count toward the Spend 50$ promo? Just realized that since I paid off Premium at Gamestop already.

If not I'll just cancel and buy a 50$ code, not sure how I completely forgot about that

That's what it was for PS+ at launch but hasn't been lower. It's amazing in my opinion and I was super on the fence over buying it when it came out. Now it's one of my favorite games on the Vita and one of the best tower defense games I've ever played. One of my best PSN purchases and gotten my money out of it.

Completely agree about Origins. Felt like a Madden 13 or NHL 14 move to try and capitalize on its success by going a route noone needed with almost the entire gameplay aspects intact.

It's unfortunate that some of you aren't enjoying Hotline Miami. I think it's just one of those games where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Yeah, the combat leaves something to be desired, and its aesthetic can be grating at times, but it all coaleces wonderfully. Plus, the animal masks are weird. I like weird. I like you, too.
I'm definitely waiting before I jump on Blackgate. It might be serviceable, but it's disappointing that it appears to be so mediocre. The Arkham games EASILY rank among this gen's best, so I don't understand why it was greenlit. Being on a handheld is no excuse -- other popular series have made that transition flawlessly. Honesty, the entire Origins entry feels rushed and unneccesary to me, but I'll reserve judgedment.
Also, not sure if anyone listens to the CAGcast, but I gave it a try the other morning and, to my surprise, it's realllllly good. CheapyD is hilarious. Don't know why I assumed they'd only be discussing game deals, lol, but it's not that at all.

I use to listen to CAGcast and now Bill Burrs Monday Morning Podcast. Also the one guy that hosts Talking Dead had a podcast with Tom Hanks that was really good. When I was in the school lab and coding, I would listen to CAGcast to give me something to listen too. Now I listen to them at work or listen to music.

 
I love podcasts. They're a great way to pass time on my work commute when I don't want to listen to music. I listen to the Cagcast and Lifehacker podcasts. The Cagcast is enjoyable, even if it can get a bit immature with potty humor. The guys have good video game discussions and opinions on upcoming games and systems.
 
o.o I used to listen to 60 minutes and old horror radio podcasts.. but now I have a job where I can't wear headphones.. plus I get paid vacation time.

Just wanted to throw this out there...

I've had the original Corpse Party for who knows how long and never got around to playing it.  So the other night I fired it up on my Vita and, in the spirit of Halloween, decided to give it a shot.

HOLY F&%K!

It is one weirdly awesome game.  I know there were some complaints from reviewers because repeated deaths at certain parts of the game can leave you having to rewatch some pretty lengthy dialogue scenes but the game is creepy as hell.  Definitely thinking about grabbing the second one while it is on sale...mostly since it continues the story with the characters from the first one.

And if you do decide to play it, DEFINITELY wear headphones/earbuds.  The audio is awesome.  Hard to believe this game got its start from RPG Maker.

It was neither, hence why I said I was asking the question honestly. I used to be part of a Lost podcast way back a few years ago. I just didn't know they were still popular, because I don't listen to any. Glad to know I don't, since I don't want to be a loser like you're implying podcast listeners are. Jerk.

I listen to podcasts because I got tired of hearing the same stupid attorney commercials on every radio station. Also, I'm not a big music fan and got tired of talk radio. Every once in awhile I turn the radio on just to see what i'm missing and inevitably hear multiple attorney commercials within 30 seconds.

 
A good gaming podcast I recently discovered is The Indoor Kids from the Nerdist network. Good time-kill during my hour and a half public transport commute.

they must, because they are still being made. I thank most of my modern random knowledge to informative podcasts.

I listen to Stuff to Blow Your Mind, Freakonomics, TED Radio Hour, and a couple IGN gaming podcasts.
 
A good gaming podcast I recently discovered is The Indoor Kids from the Nerdist network. Good time-kill during my hour and a half public transport commute.



I'll have to check this one out. The only gaming podcast I can handle is the Cagcast. They at least talk the whole time and usually stay on topic. I listened to IGN once and had to turn it off within the first 10 minutes. They spent more time cracking themselves up than actually talking about games. I have no patience for that.
 
I don't listen to any gaming podcasts, but i do listen to some other podcasts. They are great for commutes and exercise. I use to listen to the CAGcast, but they are so juvenile. I really don't need to hear about Cheapy's attempts to take a shit. However I do follow Shipwreck on twitter, because he is funny and he isn't so MS biased. Maybe they have changed, but I haven't had any interest in trying it again.

Bingo. Shipwreck is ok (only ok), the other two are way too fond of MS for my liking. I don't listen to the CAGcast, but just based on their twitter feeds, nothing has changed.
