I just wonder why you figured "hey, I'll post this" even though your problem was completely solved.

Unless you made edits or something.

Jerk!

Because I already typed all that out on my phone, seemed a waste to not use it. Plus it's been quiet in here all day with everyone PS4ing.

That's the way I see it haha. But I wouldn't describe myself as honorable. For example, I used the Guacamelee save glitch to skip a playthrough for the platinum.

I know both jay and rpg have different personal rules they set for themselves, I'm sure others do as well.
Cloud syncing and glitches are different. Most of the people I see on PS3T.org who complain about cloud syncing and double plats are those that can't get them on their own because they don't have a Vita. Those people are crybabies.

No glitches, no cheats, no boosting. Using cloud sync is cool because the developers implemented that feature. However, I'm not going to do it on this name. Not for any honor reason or anythin, I'll just have one version of a game on my list.

And if you're gonna participate in running a joke into the ground, I just ask that you do it in a humorous way. Figured I should edit that this last part isn't directed to Tyler but to everyone.

Pretty much how I see it. Ill get my third plat from sound shapes whenever I get around to downloading it. If its available to everyone to utilize then no harm done.

Playing Killzone Shadow Fall and enjoying it. The new XMB or dashboard or whatever is confusing for me to navigate. Overall I am loving it though. :bouncy:

Brotherhood is the better game. Graphics wise, I can't say the AC series made any big leaps from one to the other (except AC4 on PS4, but I can't really say, haven't played it myself to judge how far.) Also, if you didn't play Assassin's Creed 1, you're missing out.

If Ass Creed 2 would let me skip cutscenes and didn't have such terrible controls, it could be my GOTY.

Also the graphics look like they're 4 years old.

Ass Creed 1 sucked. And the controls are significantly improved as the series progresses. Also, 1 to 2 is a huge leap. Then small increments, then another huge leap with Creed 3 and the addition of naval combat, which was a big enough leap that it's the focal point of 4.

I don't know why everybody is jizzing themselves over the PayPal thing. It clearly should have been a core feature. On a side note...pretty station 4s are going for serious Amy's on eBay. If those sellers start hoarding Amy's and refuse to put them back into the open market, is it inconceivable to hope the values of our own unused Amy's will increase?

They're not really going for that much on eBay. Seem to hover around 185-190 Amys. That's more than retail, sure, but not that much more. I flipped a launch PS3 for 366 Amys back in the day. Make sure you look at actual ending auctions, and not just what people are listing it for.

Edit: Forgot to use Amys.

I saw one auction end in the high 900s. $1100?? What are these $s that you speak of? What is that in Amy's, jerk?

Also, one thing I never understood about Ass Creed 2 was the blend function. Why can't these guards notice a 6+ foot tall dude in assassin's clothes walking in the middle of four hookers?

BIN prices for PS4's start at $550

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Video-Game-Consoles-/139971/i.html?_from=R40&_dcat=139971&Platform=Sony%2520PlayStation%25204&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=ps4&_sop=15

$550-16.25 ppal fee-55 ebay fee - (15-30 shipping fee) = 463.75-448.75

$399.99 * 8% tax = 431.99

(463.75-448.75) - 431.99 = profit of 31.76-16.76

Shipping with Priority Mail Large Flat Rate would cost assuming box weight of about 14 lbs considering Amazon lists weight at 9 lbs without shipping box/materials ~$15, not sure PS4 would fit in that so Basic Post is ~$30 to ship. 2 hours ago cheapest PS4 was $556 and after midnight earlier today was $560. So the value is continuing to go down.

I suppose it's the same reason that you can die in a game over and over and over, and yet can continue to play. It's called videogaming... logic and reality never apply.

My PlayStation Camera is set-up and ready to stream!
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah - time to get frisky, tanuki!

Wow.

So do you "honorable" trophy hunters refuse to use cloud sync, and instead play through games like this 2-3 times? Just curious.
While we're on the subject of trophy ethics, what about people who use...GUIDES? Shouldn't count, IMO.

The entire franchise has been geared from the start to convert the series and its fanbase into 'Sid Meier's Pirates!' players.

What's wrong with guides? Telling someone how to do something and having them do it are two separate things.
90% of trophies are easy to get if you know where all the collectables and best weapons and loot and glitches for unlimited money are located. I love guides.
also a buddy of mine just told me he walked into a game stop last night and got a ps4 with little trouble. They had 40 over the preorders.

Has anyone figured out how to use ps vita to play ps4 games? I'm stumped...

Never mind haha I figured it out. This is greatness!!

Crap...I was trying to buy something through my PS3 but I don't have enough funds. I don't have any prepaid cards and I don't like to put my credit card out there. I wish there were more funding options.

I thought I saw somewhere where it said you can now use Paypal with PSN.

Now this looks interesting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Vita_TV

$100 for a home console with HDMI output that plays most Vita games with a DualShock 3. That could very likely end up being my choice for a Vita purchase.
You may just talking for the future, but import-wise the Vita TVs are region locked to Japanese accounts from what I have read. If your account is Japanese you're probably good to go though. I don't have it set to show sigs so if it shows you have one then my bad. 33.3 amys is a pretty sweet deal though when/if it comes here.

On the trophy "honor" part, I'll totally use guides. I don't like to boost though so I generally consider games with MP trophies to be unplatable and unpalatable, and if I wind up playing them enough to get the plat then lucky day. Most games with MP trophies generally contain trophies that practically beg to be boosted. I have never actually cloud sync'd the applicable Vita games I have to get the second plat, but I am not against doing it in general, I just haven't done it.

I pretty much only get online trophies legit since I can't bring myself to coordinate with other people and/or wear a headset.

Remote play is not working well for me. Does anyone know if it's like ps3 where it connects direct our does it go through the router? Both the ps4 and my vita are about a mile away from the router.

They say it is best to have the ps4 connected to the net via ethernet cable. And I think you have to physically sit on the ps4 while using remote play on the vita. Be sure to place post it notes under the one corner for a wobbleless sit. Its a lot easier to just play Amy, hamsterball, or ac1.

I don't have it set to show sigs so if it shows you have one then my bad. 33.3 amys is a pretty sweet deal though when/if it comes here.
Ah yeah, I mean when we hopefully get it released stateside.

Is there a list of PS4/PSN games releasing next Tuesday? I thought I had seen one somewhere but I can't find it now.

Regarding guides, my feeling is that I always go for the first play-through on the hardest difficulty without a guide. For me, reading a guide while playing the first time ruins the experience. I want to figure out how to beat bosses by myself, progress my characters as I see fit even if it's not the best build, search for collectibles and be surprised when there's a twist in the story or a huge monster around the next corner. On my subsequent play throughs guides are permitted if I'm looking to pickup missed trophies or see what I missed in the game.

I sometimes lament that if I used a guide or didn't play the toughest difficulty i would beat games more quickly and have more time to play others, but it would take too much of the fun and experience away for me. To each his own.

If a game has collectibles and no easy chapter select option, I absolutely use a guide. Especially if it's a one play game. If the game requires 2+ plays, I'll wait until the second play to bust out the guide.

Why are you talking about Assassin's Creed 2? WHAT YEAR IS THIS?
As long as we're talking about old games, damn you Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, I made it ok through Ghosts 'n Goblins and it took me 24 hours (3 Amy's) to beat Ghouls 'n Ghost, but now I can't even make it through the first level of Super GnGs! Damn your awesomeness Capcom PSP collection.
