True. The advert doesn't specify when this $60 deal ends, just "through november 3rd." I'm assuming it ends at midnight that night, but it could mean midnight tomorrow instead. Last time it specified exactly when it ended, but not in this case. With that in mind, there could be Tuesday's deals as well.

also, i finished okami. took me 52 hrs. that game should have been a lot more like 30 hrs. still though, great game.

I'm weird, but I feel I would get way more than $15 value out of the game, but I have so much to play, I can't justify paying full price for it right now. If it goes on sale for sub $10, I will snap it up.

Same. Backlog is massive. Finally played the Spelunky demo yesterday and man, that was fun. But I need to pare this backlog down a bit first.

I could buy ps4 now with cred but im gonna wait. i just bought her a camera on bf so its all give n take. peace all

n yeah, girl sleepovers im not even gonna say anything, but damn, that bgh. these 14 y/os are bustier than my wife. my girl and i were at a highschool football game that my daughter was playing in band for, and my girl was mesmerized by the cheerleaders the whole time. She was shocked how sexy they were and tight outfits/mini skirts. her eyes and words, not mine. lol

I'm loving this runaway thread! I'm 42 with a 21 year old, a 12 year old and an 8 year old. I always got the feeling I was talking to high schoolers on here, which isn't creepy because I work with kids. Glad to know there are other "adults" here, physically if not mentally (like me!). Lol

A lot more 30+ folks than you may think. I'm a dad of two, which is why the gaming has to be cheap. The real money goes to their education.
 
Bought 2 PSN cards to take advantage of the sales and the $10 cash back promo but I'm getting an error after entering the code. Is the code redemption in the Store still down? If it is, are they going to extend the sales/promo because we couldn't get in there?

 
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already, but there's supposed to be another flash deal for Cyber Monday. It says 'Flash Warning... Coming 12.2.13' on the PS3 Store. I've been disappointed by the current deals, so I'm not holding my breath. I'm surprised Amazon already had some amazing deals on its PSN store.

LBP Hub was supposed to release sometime this year. Looks like it's coming in December, but I haven't heard anything about it in a long time. It's basically a F2P version of LBP2 that comes with the first world free. You might as well wait until it's out to see if DLC goes on sale.

TLoU was excellent, I was just more enthralled by Infinite's story. Naughty Dog are true masters of storytelling (arguably best in the business), but I think their plots fall short of amazing. This opinion brought to you by Microsoft.

Haha, I thought Okami was about to end like 3 times when I played it a few years ago. It just doesn't stop. Wish I had saved it for PS3 since it's been somewhat of a chore to finish (again).

Where are you trying to redeem it? If you're on PS3, go to PSN > Account Management > Redeem Codes. People are reporting that it works better. I redeemed my PS Plus code on the first try right before they announced the code redemption system was down on Friday.

 
When your PSN Plus expires, does it expire to the exact time when you first initiated it? Or does it expire at the end of that day?

Huh....that's a pretty good idea....

....so when I checked Amazon, it told me I had already purchased this item....

....so I pulled out the disc, and I had bought the GOTY edition, but they sent me the regular, and I had never noticed...it's only been like *7* months... :(

Nope. Never played it. I just like to form my own baseless opinions about things and troll the fans. :twoguns:

Platted the game a few weeks after it came out. And I didn't say I didn't know why it was a BioShock game, I said I didn't think it should have been a BioShock game.

This is my problem with the game...

The BioShock series was always pretty farfetched, but Infinite opened up a more supernatural side with the whole "infinite" universes thing. To me that doesn't fit with the series at all. People hopping from one side of the coin to the other.... nothing of that nature was ever hinted at in the first two BioShock games and IMO it just doesn't fit well.

 
The email notifications aren't very useful with the spoiler blocking. No matter, I didn't pay $14 for a story, I paid $14 to bask in rampant racism and shoot people.

There were posts from somebody at PSN that indicated they'd be switching last week, but obviously that didn't happen. At this point there's no other indications for when it'll be.

And yeah...I'm thinking LBP and PASBR seem like two of the most obvious picks. Not sure on #3...would say J&D seems like a good fit, but due to the framerate complaints and it already being a monthly in EU, that seems unlikely. Maybe Unit 13? That'd be a set I'd be happy with.

Dang @ Terraria and Ni no Kuni. Decent prices, IMO. Too bad that Terraria isn't for Vita, otherwise I'd snatch it up.

I picked up Rainbow Moon a couple of days ago on EU (it was #3 and change) and it's a lot of fun. I think the 11.99 price is pretty decent if you don't want to create an EU account.

 
Whoa, Defiance and Final Fantasy XIV are good MMOs and really cheap. Too bad the latter has a subscription and the first one is shedding players. I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down the servers shortly after the second season of the TV show airs.

What is "Rainbow Moon Ps3 Player Special Offer"?

Almost pulled the trigger on Ni no for $15 on a physical copy, I would jump at $9.79 for a physical copy...but I don't know about digital as it's a massive 21 GB download.

With the PS3 version being on sale this close to the Vita versions release (should be in the next couple weeks if not tomorrow) I'd say there's absolutely no way it will be cross buy.

Terraria is amazing at $3.75.  It has the Captaintek seal of approval.  He loves that game and even platted it!

I'll probably grab Defiance at $2.50.  Rainbow Moon Vita for $6 may be tempting, but I should probably just play the PS3 version I already own.

 
Finally grabbing Terraria tomorrow. Almost bought it about 4815 times during various Steam sales, so I'm glad the PS3 price finally reached that level. Fired up to finally play it.
 
Hmmm...Ni No Kuni a game I want at a great price. Think I'll have to bite. I'm scared of 40+ hour games these days though. Lol.

 
Ni No Kuni for under $10 is going to be hard to resist. I see 80 hours to plat. on PS3Trophies.org, but how long is main game?

I'm tempted to upgrade my hdd, but keeping it at 120gb and not letting myself uninstall games I haven't finished is a good way to keep me from just filling it with stuff I don't play.

So far, anyway. :)

I'd say it can be done in about 50 hours, but depending on how much grinding you want to do it can take longer. My finish time was about 58 hours. 80 hours for a plat sounds about right.

 
I might go for Defiance.  Anyone know the Deluxe Edition contents?  I waited on Rainbow Moon when it came out for the PS# because I wanted a Vita version, so I might go for that too, but I have no idea when I'll get to it.

For an unsolicited opinion, I'm actually playing through The Bureau right now and really like it.  It definitely lacks polish, but it's a fun Mass Effect clone set in the XCOM universe with 1960's government agents fighting off an impending invasion.
