Does the spend $60 get $10 credit promo apply to PSN cards? I mean, if I load $60 worth of PSN cards and spend it, would I qualify for the promotion? Or does it only apply when I use a credit card?

What you are saying worked for me in the past, but not if aspects of your $60 are from ps + memberships, just prepaid cards from amazon or whatever that you add to your wallet and then spend in the playstation store do work.

If you buy $60 worth of stuff from the PSN store, no matter how you fund it, you qualify.

This saddens me, but is my logic/assumption as well. I'm still tempted, but I know I'll primarily play the Vita version...

 
The promotion ends tomorrow near end of the day PT, but I want to pick up Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn at the sale price when the store updates this week. I wonder if I should risk holding off on my purchase...

I got a tweet from that Rami guy telling me that Super Crate Box is NOT going to be one of the free PS Mobile giveaway games. He better not be lying to me! LOL. Going to buy that for sure tonight or whenever my Vita ends up on WiFi!

Well, now the Rami guy is backtracking. Says "At least, not as far as I know. It was a freebie a while ago, I think." then "If it is a freebie for some reason in the next month or two, send me an e-mail and I'll refund you". Well, OK then. I guess I'll buy it, but the Rami guy is questionable.

 
Man I'm totally getting Rainbow Moon vita for that price.

Also, Terraria is ok for that price. I mean if you're going to buy a turd, at least buy a cheap turd.

Also, does the FFXIVARRMMORPG still come with a free month or was that just a launch deal?

For an unsolicited opinion, I'm actually playing through The Bureau right now and really like it. It definitely lacks polish, but it's a fun Mass Effect clone set in the XCOM universe with 1960's government agents fighting off an impending invasion.

I'm definitely grabbing Ni No Kuni at that price. I've been in the mood for a new rpg. Otherwise I could go back to playing Fallout 3 or NV. I never played the DLC even though I own them all.

Just grabbed Kingdom Hearts HD via price match. Will I be exposing my five-and-a-half- year-old to anything traumatizing (besides shitty game cameras) if I let him watch me play it and/or give him a go?

Nope. I believe it's an E game? If it's not, it's Teen because you beat monsters with a key. Disney is pretty strict with their IPs, so definitely no dark/violent themes. Also, it's probably the only game in the series with a plot that isn't convoluted as all hell, so he'd even be able to enjoy the story.

They could make it free without telling him. Developers set wholesale prices for PSM apps. Sony pays them X for each copy sold but controls final price, can discount at their discretion. This is the same model Amazon used for Kindle books and is in contrast to the "agency model" promoted by Apple for its App Store.

Not giving the developer a heads up on a free sale would be sort of a dick move, though.
 
Nope. I believe it's an E game? If it's not, it's Teen because you beat monsters with a key. Disney is pretty strict with their IPs, so definitely no dark/violent themes. Also, it's probably the only game in the series with a plot that isn't convoluted as all hell, so he'd even be able to enjoy the story.



It's actually E10, which is why I decided to ask. I figured it was fine, as he watches weird shit on Batman and Avengers and Sanjay & Craig cartoons, but wanted to double check to be sure. Don't want him watching me kill the mer-hookers from Little Mermaid. There were mer-hookers in Little Mermaid right?

If I recall, the only Disney hero you fight is the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Rest are all villains. If he watches Batman, he's already been exposed to just as much violence that's in this. No blood and no murder. Veiled drug references, but that's cause Alice in Wonderland.

Cool, thanks. I watched original Alice cartoon with him and I was more disturbed by it then him. They were on some good stuff when they made that.

Well, that sucks. This would have been a no-brainer purchase, but now I don't know. I'm guessing the PS3 version has local co-op, though, so that could sway my decision.

I'm not even trying to be funny, but Ursula is terrifying. I've always been disturbed by her, though. And like @udaozzy said, lovely story. The last Kingdom Hearts I truly understood, lol. Can't wait for KH3.

 
I'll pick up that NNK Wrath of the White Witch NNK:WWW tonight if the sale is still going. Not sure when I'll get around to playing it.

Hell, I'm still working my way through Sleeping Dogs right now. (Does it matter in what order you do the Cop vs the Triad missions?)

I have to play the free PS Plus games in order of their delivery. Oldest first.

 
Not sure if there is a point for me to download Escape Plan on the PS4. I finished the main game on the Vita and had a DLC or two that I bought but never played. If anything I'm curious about the controls (wonder if it will use the touchpad) but that's about it. Then again free is free.

 
Aren't the 32 GB cards going to drop to about that once the 64 GB cards hit? If so I guess I'll just wait. I really can't be spending the bucks on a memory card even if it's a good deal for current prices.

I bought me a $50 PSN card from Amazon as I thought I would be buying 2 $30 PS+ subs.
