They've also previously had good sale prices on the DLC bundle, and I would imagine they will again at some point. The only one of those I didn't really enjoy was the zombie survival game parody GoatZ.

I used to game on a PC but then I became an adult who sits at a desk and works on a PC so the idea of getting off work to go sit at another desk and game feels like some dumb shit. If I ever work the counter at Chipotle like you, I could see the draw. Otherwise, consoles and comfort.

I would like to point out that not all pc games are controller compatible.

At the end of the day the convenience of consoles vs pc will still always be a prevailing thing as not everyone is computer savvy enough to build their own let alone finagle with all the settings for any given game till it is optimized.  Sure these days you can just buy a modern laptop with decent ram and run most games that would run on a toaster. But being able to run and being able to run well are the defining points.

That isn't to say consoles/handhelds don't have their own issues.  Especially sony ones due to all the variants and things like backwards compatibility.  Like I imagine most people don't know that the average ps1 game that can't use analog sticks can on a vita tv such as chrono trigger or ff7.

Ultimately I play whatever I want on whatever system or pc it is on.  But I do lean towards consoles if nothing else for the physical media.  I lost my gaming laptop earlier this year thanks to an update and with it anything I didn't have on steam to redownload.

You also have to factor in portability for handhelds/switch (although the switch is so bulky and the battery isn't the greatest for a portable device) as some of us commute to work so we have a lot of down time on a bus or train or car pool and so on.

tldr all of them are great and enjoy whatever you like to game on.

Didn't work for me on Xbox gift cards when I tried it earlier this week. Someone else reported earlier that it didn't work on eShop cards for them. But it is working on PSN cards.

The program hasn't officially started yet and there will be some changes when it does. The certificate will work on used products (it doesn't at the moment), and I'm not sure if it'll work on eshop or Xbox Live.

Probably more likely that they’ll pull it from working on PSN credit than adding eShop or Xbox credit.
