I think it’s a manual approval process and they’re swamped with entries. I submitted within the first hour and it took over 24 hours to get the theme code.

Also, the playstation 3 servers for street fighter 2 hd are still a little active (if you play during the day, not at night USA time) Great deal for $2! I've never played this version and it looks fantastic! I wonder why it hasn't been ported to switch/ps4/xbox one? Maybe licensing? (Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for switch is kinda the same thing though)

The sale ends tomorrow, so check it out! I'll be picking up street fighter 3rd strike, too!

 
Just pre ordered Ghost of Tsushima! Finally got to get those old PSN cards off my fridge that I've had earmarked for that since last year.

Also wanted to say before the sale ends that I'm definitely getting my 10 dollars worth out of 428 Shibuya scramble. I'm very good at figuring out plots, so I've figured out each major plot point/twist long before it happened so far, but the game is interesting and kinda like 'the Butterfly effect : the game' in a way. I have 3 hour blocks left to clear now.

I’m happy they announced the release for ghost of Tsushima. I was able to snag the Best Buy preorder before my gamer club unlock expires tomorrow. Maybe now I’ll stop spending money on games...........at least not at Best Buy.

My GCU expires on the 11th so I pre-ordered 15 games the other day and added Ghost of Tsushima this morning. I'll probably cut down on buying games at launch after GCU but I actually only ended up saving around 10% per game as opposed to getting them from the PSN store due to the ridiculous sales tax.

Yeah I did the same thing. I definitely got my money’s worth out of it. I used it so much that the guy behind the store pickup counter started to recognize me and would just give me the game without asking for ID. Not sure if I should be proud or ashamed of that.

Just played an online race in Sonic Transformed on PS3 for the first time in months.  Since I refuse to play for PlayStation Plus, it's nice to be able to play online again (PS3 online multiplayer is free).  I'm not particularly good at the game, but I came in third with Alex Kidd! 

 
Just discovered asdivine hearts due to it being free on Xbox and enjoy the old school feel and jrpg. Anyone with knowledge of the sequel and the next that are currently on sale? More of the same fun?

no knowledge on the franchise, but i've heard they are solid titles, and even better when they are on sale.

I love the fact that it's free, but the servers can be empty a lot of times. But i'm gonna get some older titles that i never played on the ps3. I really hope ps3 games are backwards compatible with ps5. I'd buy a ps5 if it was backwards compatible with everything, disc or digital!

After buying DMC Devil May Cry and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PS3 as a part of the Big in Japan sale, I booted up Sonic Transformed yesterday after posting on the Spelunky leaderboard, and there just happened to be people playing. Most of them weren't veteran players (only four or five at a time), and it seemed like they were just trying to unlock tracks like I was. More fun than the new Crash game on PS4 where you're either a veteran or a noob.

Another CAG reported earlier this week that he's been able to take part in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix matches, and there was just a sale on that game, so there may be people playing that one.

And the PS3 Reddit mentioned that most of the games are still heavily populated online are games published by Electronic Arts (i.e. the Battlefield games) and Rockstar (Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption). Nice that some of these games are still alive...and cheap.

Just discovered asdivine hearts due to it being free on Xbox and enjoy the old school feel and jrpg. Anyone with knowledge of the sequel and the next that are currently on sale? More of the same fun?

Kemco, a company that formerly published RPGs on the Super Nintendo back in the day, publishes Asdivine Hearts. Asdivine Hearts and most of the other games that it publishes are mobile ports. If you have an Android phone, Kemco's games are often cheaper on the Google Play store and go on sale more often on there as well. Apparently, there are several sequels/spinoffs.

But I also use the Steam store to view preview videos of games and to read player reviews as well. I think that Sony is scared of bad reviews keeping people from buying bad games on its store. And take the Steam reviews with a grain of salt. Some are completely asinine.

I just paid $10 for the digital Metal Gear Solid PS3 collection that includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Metal Gear Solid 3 after I saw that GameStop is still charging $15 for a used copy of the disc.

Ironically, I am terrible at stealth games.

I just finished that game and loved it, it was $5 and it's on PS Now also, The sequel is on sale atm for $5 also

 
You loved it? Is it really that much better than the other Kemco RPGs? They all look pretty generic. I haven't played this, but PS Now has a ton of JRPGs that might be more worth your time.

Most are pretty bland but the Asdivine and Alphadia series are both pretty good. The others, not so much.
 
I'm enjoying them, but probably because I am getting them for free on Xbox. I can't imagine paying for these, when they are practically free on phones, and free on Xbox. Asdivine Heats plays like a traditional SNES JRPG. While they have other titles that play more like SEGA Saturn or original PlayStation JRPGs.
 
I bought 2 Butterfinger and 2 Crunch bars from Walmart and submitted them on 3/5. They are definitely the correct bars, since I brought up the size and UPC chart to match them before buying them. It's also clearly visible on my receipt, but I got a rejection email this morning.

Either they are being picky about the receipt or where you buy them.

It's a mess, sounds like lots of people are getting random rejections.  You can try contacting customer service.  I got my codes for the DLC yesterday.

My photo was sideways after uploading but was approved.

Make sure you are not omitting anything on the receipt, and the orientation of the photo doesn't turned sideway when upload to the website. I have read that people got rejected for those reasons, but approved once they corrected those tidbits.

Got a random rejection this morning. Greatly annoyed.

My photo is in portrait mode and after uploading it automatically turns it sideways everytime

Happened to me too, I had to retake the photo in landscape, the new photo didn't get flipped by the website then.

Yeah mine was portrait and included everything. The only thing I can do is resubmit one and wait another few days. I think the frustration is that it's taking too long to get a response back, and they don't explain why you were rejected.

It doesn't seem like they're using RPA to do this. You'd think a human reviewer would know enough to turn the receipt sideways, lol.

 
bit on mortal kombat injustice 2 bundle and pubg.

I am having trouble getting into mk11. the characters seem so stiff compared to games like soul calibur. combos seem locked behind some type of memory game. no punch punch kick kinda simplicity.

Even more ironically, it would have been 7.50 with 3 other similar priced games with that recent sale of theirs

You're probably not going to like Injustice 2 either then because it's basically the same gameplay with D.C. characters. Netherrealm fighting games have never been as smooth as something like Tekken or Soul Calibur though they have improved greatly since MK9.

 
New owner of a PS4 Pro from black Friday last year .  I am totally confused by the PS4 Hard drive management system. On XBox One I could move data from one hard drive to another very easily. On PS4 I can only have one active external hard drive? This seems very clumsy. So I have to delete all of the data on my old external storage and re-download all data onto my new USB drive?  I have several external hard drives on my Xbox One with up to 16 TBs of data storage. The PS can only handle one external drive with a max of 8TBs? Wow! 

Epic fail on storage for PS4. I am also not really impressed with the exclusives on PS4 either.

I do like the streamlined UI interface as compared to the Xbox One bloated UI interface. 

Still the lack of data transfer between disks seems very dated to me.
