2 out of 4 here, I think I missed the Horizon one, but not sure what other I missed.  I put 8 Valkyries, Joel is from Texas and 68 Treasures in Uncharted.

Edit: I forgot about the Queen Valkyrie, so that was the other miss.

 
I finally got PlayStation Plus again only to find out that Driveclub's servers have been shut down.  Worse yet, the game wouldn't even let me play a single player game if I was online.  I assume that the disc will still let me play the single player content if I go offline.  

It's a damn shame because Driveclub is a really good game.

 
Doing a weird little stream where I see play some games like Nex Machina and others while seeing how long it takes to get through the notifications for downloading Rock Band 4 and about 800 songs (link).

Edit: Figured out the maximum amount of downloads for the queue is 196 as a result.

I’ve always wanted to try this but it says I bought the standard edition (never have, maybe a trial) and so I’m ineligible for all the editions and trials. It sucks.
 
Hello all. Have a question not sure if anyone can help. I was looking to buy the COD BLOPS3 Zombie Chronicles to play with some friends.:

Thought it was also worth noting that, even if you're a PC subscriber, if you've never had the PS version (either PS3 or PS4), you can get this and add 30 days to your account. This is a result of the games acting separately per system, but with a shared account, and this seems to be system-based.

I only wish this applied to me, lol. I started playing again and would love a free 30 days.

This isn't new, the PS4 versions were always remastered. If there's something new on your PSN profile, they probably just changed the thumbnails and titles. The versions of Bioshock 1 and 2 that appeared in "The Collection" (which I think was featured on PS Plus not too long ago) were the Remastered editions. Also, owners of the original Bioshock 1 or 2 releases on Games for Windows received the Remastered editions as a free upgrade.

People love to crap on Call of Duty, but I actually really liked the War mode in COD WWII.  It involves different objective based scenarios and you switch roles after each round.  I recommend checking it out if the game is given away for free.

 
COD WW2 being on PS+ reminds me once again how annoying it is for digital and disc installs of PS4 games to not be compatible, unlike Xbox.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves with PS4 games. Shouldn't matter either way and is annoying indeed.

Edit: My next biggest pet peeve with PS4 is not having the option to buy games claimed through PS+ until a person either cancels their sub or lets it lapse. No problem there with games claimed through GwG on Xbox.

Thanks for this, I don't even own a PS4 right now as I'm primarily an Xbox gamer but I've been picking up first party playstation stuff digitally so when I inevitable get a PS5 with back compat I'll have a nice library.

$10 each for first party stuff is my price limit. TLOU Remaster will be purchased.

Edit: My next biggest pet peeve with PS4 is not having the option to buy games claimed through PS+ until a person either cancels their sub or lets it lapse. No problem there with games claimed through GwG on Xbox.

I was PS3 only last gen and have been primarily Xbox this generation except for exclusives. This drove me insane ~8 years ago, hard to believe it hasn't been addressed or fixed.

 
You know, it's not time for BOTH PS+ games to be announced but it's weird that Sony officially announced one (even on their Twitter feed).

After the disappointment that was last month, there are two options:

1. They'll continue the downside but offering only ONE game now since that's worse than two.

2. They're gauging our excitement with the one so they can decide how bad of a second game they can get away with.

Good point. This is mostly a modern problem. The early 2000s Medal of Honor WW2 games were fairly reverent (at least as far as video games go). They had more historical background and context. I remember playing the first call of duty (2003) and it hadn't yet strayed too far from that mold, the missions felt grounded in reality and they had some neat historical context, especially being able to play as a Russian.
