I loved all the Battlefields up till this one, with Hardline being my least favorite, but didn’t like this one at all. Basically the story was a bunch of fetch quests and just going from Point A to Point B. Worth a try for $3 just in case your tastes are different.
 
I agree with thundarr about bf1's single player but its multi player was pretty fun, so if you aren't afraid to dabble there too it will be worth way more than $3.

Sorry this isn't a deal, but I'm about to play Carrion on PC via GamePass. I'm using a PS4 controller using DS4Windows and it has built in Sony icons, potentially meaning it'll be coming to PS4 in the future. Not that interesting except for people who only game on PS4 or just want those trophies.

Figured it was random, basically the discount codes and previous stuff recieved from them were random as well. I guess its fair to everyone but not fair to people that been with ps+ for longer then non subs. Anyways we still have a chance to get one if it they stop 8/11.

Even at $3, I would skip it if you're actually only going to play single player. Its a slog.

If you'll play multi, then its a great buy at $3, but you may want to pick up BF 1: Revolution when its on sale instead. I bought BF1 at $3 last time and Revolution was only $4 more and sort of regret it. I think if you're looking for single player, Doom is the better bet in the current sale.

If I redeem a 14-day PS plus trial can I at least for those two weeks have access to the games of the month, or is it only multiplayer access?
 
Too bad there isn't mw2 multiplayer in there. I loved the shotguns and maps in that game. don't even get me started on how dirty the pre-patched 1887s were. campaign wasn't bad, but military shooter campaigns are never anything to wet pants over.

You can claim ps+ games during a trial. I'm using a 30-day trial right now (July 5 to Aug 5) to claim 3 months worth of games.

However do note that that a 7-day trial code wouldn't work for an account that previously had ps+. However the 1 month worked fine. Not sure about the 14-day codes.

Well crap, there goes the PC player base for Fall Guys, especially considering crossplay between PC and PS4 won't be ready at launch. My husband already pre-purchased it on Steam, so I really hope they fast-track that crossplay before all the PC players drop off.

 
Is Fall Guys free at launch for PS4 now indication that the game is going to be about micro transactions like Rocket League? Not necessarily a bad thing but it seems odd to give away on PS4 on not just do it on all platforms.

There will be cosmetic microtransactions, though in my mind, it doesn't matter what type of microtransaction it is, if the game has a price tag, there should be none of that crap. It's normally 20 dollars, but it should be free-to-play, especially with this PS+ news.

Glad I passed on COD:MW2 Campaign when it was on sale for $15. It's a bit odd as this will be the fourth time a Call of Duty game is one of the PS+ offerings. Black Ops 3 was a bonus in June '18 during E3. CoD: MW Remastered was offered in March '19 and we just had CoD:WW2 in May.

I'm hyped for Fall Guys and I generally avoid playing online MP (especially FPS and sports games). I can't wait to jump into fun, chaotic competition.
