Yeah, PSPrices is stating that 288 games just went on sale today.

You know, I like PSPrices and all, it's been a great tool for keeping a wishlist and seeing what's on sale before it's posted here or anywhere else, but damn do I hate the fact that the guy who runs it seems to have an obsessive compulsion to change the layout of the site every could of days, almost as if the guy just doesn't know how to design a website so he keeps trying to "improve" it on a semi-daily basis.  It's especially egregious when viewing it on mobile.  It's almost like a game in and of itself, "Oh, what do I have to click on today to find the 'Discount Subscriptions' link?"

Blazing chrome is really fun. At least I think it is. It’s super hard and I couldn’t get very far

That game could be a hot turn and I’m still playing it day one. Been hype forever. I’ve wasted $60 on two drinks at a bar before. If it turns out that I get 15 mins of joy from playing it will all be worth it.

what in the hell kind of drink did you have that was $30? I've been overseas and most I paid was $20 for a drink at a strip club

Has anyone figured out an easy way to see the new deals on the store? I know about psprices.com but I can’t imagine they took away the wishlist and made the new store so in-user friendly. Am I missing something?

Hell I’ve paid more than $30 for a drink before. Really depends on where you’re at and what’s going on around you. Doesn’t make it worth it though.
 
Finished Valhalla last night. 75 hours. What a wild ride. To get all of the story threads resolved you have a lot do. There's like, 4 different threads and they all go to interesting places. It's worth it to finish all of the main pillars of content to get total resolution. I haven't loved an Assassin's Creed game like this since 2! It was fantastic.

A few hints for people who want the complete experience: clear the Order (including Zealots), finish the alliance map, follow the seer's hut arc, and make sure you use the key you get at the end of the game.

The way AC Valhalla ties into the rest of the series is probably the most delightful part. It's great to finally advance beyond AC3.

Why are PSN downloads soooo slow? Was hoping maybe it was more of a PS4 issue. But I still only get about 10 mbps on my PS5 but 150+ mbps in my Series X.

You can't rush quality.

Also, that's the reason I got the disc version of the PS5 so I don't have to take eternity to download a AAA game

Yeah, I got the disc version as well but mainly for all the PS4 discs I have. I still prefer digital if there’s not a huge difference in price.

It’s wireless. But same network and right next to my Series X so it shouldn’t be as huge of a difference. Hard to get wired where it is in my house. Oh well, it’s a first world problem.
 
Thoughts on Death Stranding for $20? I’m open to different gameplays. I find a game like Mudrunner relaxing but I only played that in short bursts. Is Stranding like Mudrunner in any way? Lol Maybe I’ll just get the Remaster for the PS5 if or when they release that. I don’t have a PS5 yet, maybe next year. My PS4 Pro’s fans kicks in and would like a quieter system.

Death Stranding was my game of the year last year. I love how utterly strange and unexpected it was. I think I played about ~50 hours or so to finish? Go in expecting simple things to be challenging, because that's what it's about ultimately. Its mechanics make easy things difficult. I think that's a joy, other people hated it.

Like MudRunner, it makes the act of getting around the world engaging and more fun than it would be in other games.

 
The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game looks pretty fun, even though I'm not into LOTR.  Something like Hearthstone but with a single-player focus like Duels of The Planeswalkers?

Anyone have thoughts on whether it's worth the $8?

I’d at least get Ys 8. I’m currently 45hrs into and it’s great. A little slow to start at first, but once you make it to the other side of the island the story gets really interesting. All of the Ys games are connected but stand on their own so you don’t have to play them in order. Ys Origin is a prequel to Ys chronicles 1-2 for the vita/PC and the only game that doesn’t feature the main series character Adol Cristin. http://www.digitalemelas.com/m.index.php Is a great resource if you want to get into the series.
 
Y's 8 was a really good game and like posted above, a bit slow to start but really engaging later on. Dana was a stand out character but everyone that joins the crew has some sort of interesting back story. For $20 it is an absolute steal. Also by playing it now you get the patched up version with new localization instead of Archeozoic Big Hole.

 
Anyone have an idea on how long it takes to get the online trophies for Shadow of War or what they entail? I haven’t played the series before and am thinking of starting that this week before the servers get shut down.
 
I’m new to having a sub/child account on my ps4 (my son had been using my main account previously). He wants Star Wars Battlefront 2 celebration edition (full version not upgrade) while it is on sale for a few more hours. Question for anyone that knows - will his save file he has been using in the base disc game work with the digital celebration version? Secondly guessing I have to delete the disc game install to do the digital download. Will the save file still be preserved after the uninstall and new download?
 
Worms rumble is listed as a plus free game available now for download through 1/31/21. This was found on my ps5 so it may be limited to that. Also has ps plus exclusive add on pack.
 
Looks like Control's season pass is the cheapest I've seen it($8.99).   Probably going to grab that later this week, as I just want to play the DLC and don't care about the PS5 upgrade that the Ultimate Edition is offering.

I don't think his save will transfer because you said he was playing on your account. AFAIK, online multiplayer games like this are tied to the PSN account or publisher (i.e. Overwatch) or this being an EA game, maybe the progress will be tied in with the EA access account instead.

I thought only the Shadow of Mordor servers were shutting down, not Shadow of War?
