I Got screwed also. Went to the NEW ARRIVALS for PS+ and Alien Breed was FREE. BAM, $7.99 I was charged....didn't even check me out, just charged me.

Shit...didn't plan on this one, but may have to get it. Still might just get a disc of it, not sure yet, but $10 is a good price from what I understand.

Yeah, I noticed that. I wondered if the price hadn't been changed yet. I had it rented out from GameFly for awhile, couldn't get into it because of school, but the gameplay wasn't driving me wild either. For $10, though, I might've given it another shot.

watch gameplay on Catherine. i hunted that game for ages on gamefly, finally got it, and... hated it. it's a very specific sort of puzzle game. some love it, some don't.

Ooh, two new games coming to the IGC next week sounds awesome. Although a big one, this update is pretty lackluster for me. I have Closure on Steam and aside from Critter Crunch, I don't think I'll be picking anything else up. I wish Twisted Metal 2 was more than a dollar off.

really confused by Valkyria Chronicles 2 -- i can see it for 10 on the ps3, but i switched to my vita to buy it and it's not showing up under psp games T-V.
any ideas?

ok, did research. it's one of those 'must transfer' games.

edit 2- it's an official price change, not a sale, as far as i can tell.

You have to download it on PS3 and then transfer it to your Vita.

Ahh, so that's why I couldn't find it on the Vita store. Guess I'll download it on my PS3 after I download Closure, the demo for Critter Crunch, & the PS All-Stars patch. Though strangely, on the PS browser store, it only mentions PSP.

there's also the free ni no kuni draggle. though having plat'd the game w/o it, i can say that's it's a totally OP familiar and you're probably better off not using it early in the game.
(note that you can't use the ticket till a certain point in the game, but even then, it's going to be OP)

Yup. Hopefully Sony gives some of you guys a break this week. I myself saw Alien Breed for free and tried to buy it, but luckily it took me to the pay page.

But in the future, it appears that messing with the PSN store during the update is a bad idea, and you won't be "scoring" a few free games like you expect to. One guy on here got screwed by this last week too.

anyone wanna try to get renowned (20 guardian kills) with me on Guardians of Middle Earth. I was playing with randoms last night and got 13 kills as Lugbo but my team kept steamrolling the enemies too fast and we would finish the round in 5 mins. I know if I could play with some teammates with mics we could just chill n not go straight for towers/base and we could take turns getting that 20 kills with agaundur/lugbo/garandiel(i am horrible with names). i believe there are basically 4 games.

Alien Breed is the most recent, and sort of a HD remake of Alien Breed that stays fairly true to the original.

The trilogy is more of a full remake/reimagining of the game.

I've played the first in the trilogy and it's... pretty good? Not great, but i'm demanding of my dual stick shooters and require perfection.

When Vikings Attack was a cute enough demo, and kind of fun, but i'd much much prefer Super Stardust or Sine Mora.
