Started replaying Vanquish this afternoon (despite needing to make headway on Metal Gear Solid). That game is so stinkin good. Definitely one of my favorites from this generation.

while i want PSN games to play on the PS4, I understand why they might not at launch. My guess is they'll get PS1 classics up and running first, PS2 classics second, re-port some ports to the ps3... leaving only PS3 exclusives at 'risk'. And anything we've already bought will be linked to to our account/free.

So I think that basically means just buy games you want to play.

I mean, if you want to play them, and they're PS3 exclusives... then play them on the PS3. Problem solved. By the time you've got a PS4 in your home, you're going to be spending your dosh on PS4 PSN games. If you get to still play them on your PS4, great.

It's not like I can still play my Intellivision cartridges on the Intellivision 6. Why? Because the console doesn't exist. At least we're getting a PS4.

Still haven't decided what to use my $10 credit on. I wish there was Simpsons Hit & Run available for download. Loved that game and I've been on a bout of nostalgia lately.

Persona 3 FES for $10 is worth it, it was the best $10 I have ever spent in gaming.
How come Okami HD didn't make it on the list??? It even got like best PSN download game in November.

Silly question but, I'm reading that the $10 PSN credit sony handed out to its loyal customers last week expires on the 5th of March. Does that mean the code itself will expire that date, and those who didn't redeem it by then will be out of luck, or does it also mean that the $10 will be removed from our wallet that day if we haven't spent it yet?

Like I said, silly question, but I like to make sure and be safe.

Expires if you don't redeem it. Just add it to your wallet and you have nothing to worry about unless you were planning to sell it.

Also I'm hoping atlus has a sale on their PSP games again. Now that I plan on getting a vita I would love to get all their Persona games.

It wasn't released as a PS2 Classic game. It's just a normal PSN game.

You have to redeem it by then. You can spend it whenever.
I have a bad feeling that Legend of Dragoon isn't going to win the vote.
It was at the top of the Best-Selling PS1 Classics for a few months after its release, but I expect San Andreas to win that category.

Thanks for the credit help, guys.

Definitely in for Persona 2. I just really hope that it is vita compatible. I hope they put Innocent Sin on sale for around $10 as well.
It wasn't released as a PS2 Classic game. It's just a normal PSN game.
Well even though its a normal PSN game, it didn't make it into the category though.

Is it better to get the PSone Classic or the PSP version?
No Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires in the drop? I swear if we get delayed in the U.S again I'm gonna be ticked
Probably just a mistake. Dude can't put together a proper post to save his life half of the time.
Is it better to get the PSone Classic or the PSP version?
The US didn't get the PSP version of Eternal Punishment, just Innocent Sin. They're similar in gameplay (though since we got the enhanced port of IS, it'll have improved features), but story wise, they're different (EP takes place months after IS in a parallel universe where the events in IS didn't happen, but same setting & similar characters). But I haven't played either one, so I can't really offer an opinion of which is better. Only played 1, 3, & 4.

There's no PSP version in NA.

Personally I think you should play IS then EP. It is two halves to a full story to me.

Oh ic ic, that is actually interesting. I didn't know or notice about that EP and IS.
Well I guess I will be buying the game and wait for the PSP version to be cheap.
Personally I think you should play IS then EP. Hopefully, seeing as Atlus likes doing sales, we'll see EP get discounted soon enough, especially since the other Persona games have been on sale in the past.

Does the final fantasy 6 that's a ps1 classic still have horrible load times? Will def buy for 5 wing wangs if its been fixed for the pan release

Same game running in an emulator.

Wonder if it'll stay a physical release like with Birth By Sleep, especially with the response to the 28th comment. In any case, I remember playing the original when I was about 12 when it came out, so to play it again with all the Final Mix content & the additional stuff will be nice. If I still enjoy it, maybe it'll motivate me to check out all the portable stuff that's been released over the years.

So, is there no physical release of Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires? I've looked everywhere and there's no preorder information to be found.

Nope it will only be released digitally in the NA. EU/UK gets a Physical release though.

Ok, cool. I had been calling places and it wasn't even coming up on the inventory list, so that makes a bunch of sense now.

Has a price been associated with it? And when I saw the PS Drop blog post it only had Persona 2.

Either $40 or $50. My money is on $50.

Nice addition.
I've never been a handheld gamer so I don't own a Vita and buying one was never on my plans but PS+ has changed my mind, I'll probably get one in a few months.

Not really... a few weeks ago Daily Game Deal had 12-month cards + generic brand remote controler for $40, you can also try ebay.

great discount on Smart As for Vita. can't recommend it enough if you like brain training games (unless you hate platinums that take forever). not a bad deal on super stardust delta too.
Plants Vs. Zombies on Vita free for PS+, discounts for Retro/Grade, Gamers' Choice Awards winners, & an additional discount for the Vita Anniversary sale.
Really good week for Vita owners, and hell they even threw PS3-only owners a bone with Retro/Grade for $2.xx. I haven't played a ton of Retro/Grade, but even only playing about an hours worth, it's a no-brainer at $2.xx.

As for the Vita games, I'm super excited for PvZ. I think most of us knew it was coming eventually, so I'm glad to finally get it! I'll also be getting Super Stardust and Hustle Kings Vita for sure (kind of nice not having to hope for Super Stardust to win the PSN Awards). I may even bite on Reality Fighters and Little Deviants for less than $10 each. Great week!
Nice addition.

PS+ is exactly how they pushed me over the edge to buying a Vita. Announcing Gravity Rush, Uncharted, and Mutant Blobs Attack was what pushed me over, and I haven't regretted my purchase for a second.

I really want Smart As, but $10 is my absolute limit for digital content, so the wait continues....

Super Stardust Vita for $5 is exactly what I wanted to pay. PvZ is a good freebie, it plays really well on the Vita and although it's a little hard to find, those who prefer to use the real controls (vs touch) can enable them in the options. I got it for #7.xx in October and was/am surprised at just how much content there is in the game. Even if it's the same concept over and over, it's still really entertaining and can provide a decent challenge near the end.

Only one I know of was GameDealDaily about 2 weeks ago. They had 1 year subs for $40, which with the extra 3 months comes out to about $2.66 per month. Totally worth it.

As the name implies, though, it was a daily deal.

oops I accidentally read the blog comments. I wonder if Morgan makes a drinking game out of it every week (like take a drink for every positive comment, resulting in a very sober morning).

Hahaha, the difference between PS+ Europe vs NA is more than obvious but the childish complaint level and frequency at the blog is pathetic.
oops I accidentally read the blog comments. I wonder if Morgan makes a drinking game out of it every week (like take a drink for every positive comment, resulting in a very sober morning).
I made the same mistake. I don't know why I torture myself every week. I guarantee if Sony offered every one of the complainers there a $50 refund on their PS+ purchase, very very few would take it.

I commented once today, saying I was excited for PvZ and the Vita sale.

I personally still don't understand any of the hoopla for the March games in EU. The only one I'm even a little bit jealous about is MGS HD Collection for Vita, and that's only because if we got it, I could sell mine.
I made the same mistake. I don't know why I torture myself every week. I guarantee if Sony offered every one of the complainers there a $50 refund on their PS+ purchase, very very few would take it.
If they offered a transfer to EU+, I'd take it. I tried to sign up for it and let my US+ lapse, but none of the places that sell PSN EU cards will take my CC, I don't know why and I have similar issues with PayPal, can't get any of it to work for EU PSN cards. So I just gave up. Of course, with my luck, the time I get it to work is the time US+ will suddenly start matching what EU+ gets.

And anyone that says US+ is just as good, sorry, that argument has been getting weaker and weaker over the last 3 months, Morgan even had to acknowledge on the latest + blog post that people have a point (see his comment on page 2 there).

I played the Hustle Kings demo and enjoyed it, but it didn't give me quite enough actual gameplay to know if i'd really like it.
