If you got the first two episodes of The Walking Dead for free with PS+, see what happens when you try to add the full season to your cart from the website:

You can do it from the console though. I just bought it and got them all downloading despite owning the first two eps from PS+.
Well this is weird. When I got my Vita in October, I bought Retro City Rampage and downloaded with the Super Stardust Delta demo. PSN is telling me purchased/own SSD, but I checked my transaction email and I definitely wasn't charged for it. Apparently I've had access to the full game this whole time because of some glitch and didn't know it?
I just noticed this today too when I went to pick up the game while it's on the Vita sale.

I remember playing the demo for a bit but I don't remember it being fully locked. Perhaps I should redownload it and see if it is indeed the full version.
It seems that Persona 2 Eternal Punishment won't transfer to the Vita.
Yeah, not seeing it on the Vita's PS Store. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon.

Already have The Walking Dead on PC and will probably get CS:GO on there too. Is Journey worth getting? I would rather wait for Journey CE to go on sale again for $15.

I wasn't saying you couldn't. People here were asking whether they'd be able to grab the season if they had the first two episodes from PS+, so I posted a link so they could check since I didn't know and nobody here had a response about it.

That's good to hear though.

I was wondering that since I was looking to pick it up this week from the sale. It looks like it got asked already on the blog and was answered. They will have both the first two episodes removed from your PSN+. So you won't run into a problem if you stop using PSN+ and want to go back to play it. So for anyone worrying about that you are safe to purchase it.

Sorry, just the Season Pass for now, but the good news is that it’s super cheap for Plus members — under $10 for all of them! Also, just FYI if you do purchase the Season Pass, you will own all the episodes, 1 & 2 will no longer be tied to your Plus subscription.
I'm disappointed that Journey won 2 categories, which effectively makes us lose 1 sale. I'm also a little sad that the wizardry clone psp game won, as I would have preferred either of the other two. D'oh. Some good sales for those that want them, though.
You're tellin me lol. Gravity rush won too which is pretty useless to me since I along with lots of folks have got that game for free thru plus. Not to mention its "Sale" price is still expensive.

I'll be getting GTA: SA, I've been waiting for it to go that cheap.

Weird. It wouldn't be the first time a Vita demo accidentally gave you a full game for free.

I think they may have fixed this ahead of time for the sale, because I had the episodes from the PS+ promotion and just purchased the season pass on sale without a problem.

I did it from the web browser, though, so I don't know if doing it directly on the PS3 will work the same.
I would have jumped at $40, esp. with the $10 off $50. But at $50, I don't know. Did Orochi 3 ever go on sale? If so, for how much? I'm trying to determine what the odds are of this going on sale for less than the $40 it would wind up being if I bit now.
To my knowledge no, but Kaizoku Musou did several times and was 40% off at one point.

Yeah, it took me a bit to convince myself to buy too, but with the free DLC and the 10$ back, it'll just end up coming out to 40$ anyway.

Where does it say that at? Download list, Vita PS Store, PS3 PS Store, Web Store, etc?

I know that Vita demos show up like it was the full game on the download list when they're unlock code games.

That's odd, because someone from this very thread had that problem. They had PS+, got Episodes 1+2. They then bought the Season Pass for $20 or so. Later they let their PS+ expire and were unable to play the game. No matter of deleting/reinstalling would start the game, even though the $20 was on their purchase history, Sony refunded them the money.

Perhaps that is all fixed now?

You can add me to the Legend of Dragoon crybabies.

I was hoping Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires would be 40 and not 50 but since I'll get a 10 dollar credit in a month for buying it, it's not much of a difference.
Downloaded Journey. I wish Unfinished Swan would have won one of those Journey categories. I wanted that too.
It was 75% off like 3 weeks ago...

darn, wish I would of waited on picking up Dark Souls DLC to count toward the total, it's too bad it's not 5 back for 25, I could see getting $25 in purchases in a month but $50 will be pushing it as I imagine this will be the last of the decent sales, I guess I could pick up a few of the $10 psp games like VC2 for the GO I just bought.

Oh shit. That makes me happy. The games offered this week didn't really do much for me.

Just so everyone knows (I didn't think it was clear in the OP, or maybe I'm just stupid), Sound Shapes is on sale for PS3 as well as the Vita version.

Wen't ahead and got it and Journey. Sweet Indie goodness for me^,^

K, so I wanna buy Hustle kings for the VIta, does anyone know if it's a cross buy game? Only the vita edition is showing up on sale for $4.99. The non vita edition is $9.99. Curious if anyone has ever bought that game.

Thanks

Anything listed in the OP with a * is a Cross Buy game and will get you both versions of the game. Hustle Kings is one of those games.

The only way that it doesn't work both ways is with retail PS3 games, as it doesn't make sense to give both away with the cheaper version.

Went a head and got Sound Shapes, GTA SA, Retro/Grade, and Super Star Dust Delta.

Probably gonna get Escape Plan and Motor Storm RC too.
Each version has issues, but the PS3 version is the only one that I haven't heard with save issues. Every scene transition features stuttering so that the audio starts playing before the video shows up, though that's the only major issue that I had.
Yeah, Telltale released a patch to fix the save problem a few months back I believe. (Pre-patch if you tried to use the third save file slot after using the other two, the data on all three slots was be erased completely). Unfortunately this came out after the damage had been done for me and my wife, I lost both of my games and she lost hers. Although I went back to the well and finished up the game, she never did and neither one of us has seen more than the one version of choices I made on what was my third play through.

Aside from that that, I think the glitch also still exists
where you kind of fall through the train and the sky and ground flip when you try to walk from one car to the next
. Players may or may not consider having to quit the game and restart it a major issue but all would probably consider it a major annoyance at best. Though I enjoyed playing the game and don't regret my purchase, I do hope that the sequel is a more polished effort.

thinking of something like this too. but it would break my heart if any of them went to PS+ soon after. lol

I initially tried to purchase it on the web store, but it said I already owned it and wouldn't allow me to buy it. Checked my download history (also on the web store) and it didn't list the demo as a purchase, just the game.

Turn on my Vita to find it in the store and try to re-download from the store entry page, and it has the 'Buy Now' button. I had planned on buying it anyway so I decided to see what would happen. I got charged normally and it downloaded.

I think the web store might not always list demos, so if you've downloaded the demo and it's really the full game minus an unlock key, maybe the web store can't tell the difference?

Does anyone know if there's anything that's going to be removed from the PS Store soon/already has been removed recently? I thought I read somewhere mentioning a Vita/PSP title (maybe an RPG? Not sure) going away so they dropped the price. On a related note, is there anywhere I can look that keeps track of things removed from the store? Thanks.
do you have to spend $50 at once to get $10 back or can you buy seperate items?
You can buy separate items, you just have to buy $50 worth or multiple amounts of $50 in the time frame of the deal (Feb 26-March 31) and after it's done it'll be added up.

Just wanted to chime in and mention the Star Wars Pinball tables are excellent. I personally like playing Zen Pinball 2 on the Vita but getting both platforms is a great deal. The 3 tables are really fun and a must if your a fan. Thanks Sony for adding more tables in my Zen Pinball collection. That free $10 couldn't have come at a better time.
If you buy a PS+ year for $49.99 will you qualify for the $10 when it includes the tax or is tax not included?
I don't know if the tax makes a different but it was confirmed that the $49.99 towards + would be enough to qualify for $10 promo

Agreed. Love the Zen Pinball 2 on my Vita now and the cross buy is just bonus. I double dipped on Street Fighter and Marvel tables that I had on Xbox but its worth it. Love the PvZ table too

I too grabbed the Star Wars tables and loved them so far. If I need some filler for the $50 then its definitely going towards some pinball tables. I may just get more Marvel tables, Ninja Gaiden, or start getting some of the other ones.

Ninja gaiden table is great by the way

I just imported the UK version of DW7E because it has a disc, it was 37.07 shipped. No point in going for a digital only version on PSN...

Walking Dead for 9.79, I think I'll rebuy it. I also convinced my friend to buy it at 13.99 since he's not ps+, it's definitely worth that. Journey is still too expensive though...

Can you get the discounts from 30-day trials?

I just bought it. Thanks.
Damn you Sony, I'm slowly getting more and more tempted to buy a Vita even though my PSP sits gathering dust for about a year now....
my psp gathered dust despite having a solid library for it... but my vita gets heavy use, even at home.
for me, it's the bigger screen and better controls (dual stick).

i found with the psp i gravitated towards rpgs because of the control scheme. which is fine when i'm in the mood for that, but otherwise i'd set it down and forget about it. with the vita, i've still got all the rpgs... but i've also got pick up and play gems like pinball arcade and (now) super stardust that are top notch arcade games. and games like uncharted, gravity rush, and sly cooper feel like full console experiences on a handheld.

i was really worried i wasn't going to play the vita much. i was wrong. this thing is just incredible. ps+s IGC sold me (too many games i wanted) and i'm glad it did. i mean, i spent my gaming hours tonight on a vita instead of my ps3. i only ever played psp while traveling. and this isn't the first time.
