Hmmm....I was wrong, I definitely thought Joe Danger would be near the end of the month. No big deal though.

I think I'll jump on I Am Alive this time, I passed last time and kind of regretted it. Considering Rayman Origins for Vita, but sub-$10 would be so much nicer. Maybe I'll sell my PS3 copy to make up the difference (assuming my 32GB Vita memory card from ATT comes through and I have somewhere to download Rayman...)
not a bad sale, I will probably grab the Vita version of Rayman Origins and maybe AC Bloodlines if its playable on my vita
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316058

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, Driver '76, Michael Jackson: The Experience, Petz Dogz Family, Petz Hamsterz Bunch, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Prince of Persia: Rival Swords, Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Essentials are all directly purchasable on Vita. Brothers in Arm D-Day is the only one that has to be transferred from PS3, though you may be able to buy it on the web store and download on Vita from the download list.
YES!!!! I missed out on Rayman Origins for Vita when it was on sale a while back for around the same price. That I will be getting for sure. And I do believe that's the cheapest I've seen Lumines as well. I might end up getting that too.
Im pretty sure Rayman Origins was down to $9.79 for Vita for the holidays cause I got it then. So it was actually ~$4 cheaper.

Lumines GET

Incidentally, it is absolutely amazing that MJ The Experience (vita) has retained its price for so long since the 'accidentally free' debacle.
This update is way past due. Most people won't bother with it. Even discounted... had this come out months ago when it went on PS+ it would have sold a lot better.

Also Blog updated: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013...-danger-2-free-for-members-huge-ubisoft-sale/
While I would probably consider it at $1 dollar (with trophies), I am not paying that much to play with no one. I really can't see this doing well either, since most people got the game for free with plus.

Annoyed with the price of the Scott Pilgrim dlc, since I bought the "complete" version before it was free on Plus and from the looks of it my "complete" version won't be updated for free. Entitlement, I know, I know . . .

Anyone have experience with the Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD? Worth $20?

VITA
Asphalt: Injection - $18.89 PSN - $13.22 PS+
Rayman Origins - $18.89 PSN - $13.22 PS+

Darn it... both are $3.22 over my buy price. BUT.. I think i'd end up qualifying for the $10 back. hrm.

Lumines Electronic Symphony - $18.89 PSN - $13.22 PS+

Bought it at around $18 or whatever the last sale was for, and it was worth it.
I like how the Ubisoft sale does not include any AC dlc : /
None of those games are on sale. The only add-ons there are those with games that are also on sale.

Yeah I done goofed... Still gonna be looking at Origins and psp AC!
I got quite a laugh from this PS Blog comment, just thought I'd share.

Overall, the mood there seems to be pretty positive, which is nice.
I also think it's funny how much people think the monthly/weekly announcement change is responsible for the better blog mood. Sure, it does make a diff and the role of psychology is true, but the GAME SELECTION is really the difference maker. I know most people are just stupider than sheep, but really? If the monthly announcement said this month's + game was NBA2k12, that place spew more lava than Krakatoa.

It seems like I've been waiting forever for I Am Alive to hit that $5 point. Also, why is the TinTin game so expensive? Seems oddly high.

No it would have to be something really weak, like Soul Calibur 4.

On topic though (is this really on topic though?), I have mixed feelings about the monthly updates. While I am glad to know this month sucks up front, I now find myself counting the days till the next month comes. At the very least, I could always hope for better with the weekly updates and accept disappointment with new found hope in a smaller time frame.

How I read it: "I liked everything about plus but this *first* tiny update to a 2 yr old game made me quit my PS+ sub." Proof that the Blog comments will still find a way to be negative about something...

Oh dear lord...if they announced any yearly sports game that wasn't this current year's, then the negative comments would overload the blog and spew hate all over the internet...oh wait it's already all over. ;)

Apparently they cut multiplayer, and it doesn't look that good. I love the xbox versions though, so if you've never played them it might be worth it (though if you have an xbox you can probably find the whole series for $10 or less).

They aren't terrible, but seeing how a new disc copy can be had for $20 or less i would not consider this a deal by any means.

They are good games, but the HD doesn't really add anything if you have played them before.

Also there was a complaint about no inverted controls IIRC, but I think they patched that issue.

^The inverted controls have definitely been patched in for the retail version, I'd assume the digital version received the same patch.

My favorite part of that comment was that he lamented that Scott Pilgrim is a constant PS+ filler and repeatedly being on sale, then went on to say that he'd LOVE to see repeat sales on Journey because "that is one game I don’t think anyone would mind seeing repeatedly put on sale" whatever the hell that means.

^Pretty similar, I believe they added a new touch-screen collectible and they removed local multiplayer (for obvious reasons). There's no online multiplayer either, I don't remember if there is online in the console versions.

Its exactly what you think it means.

I will be downloading another free plus game (Joe Danger) to add to the pile that I wont ever play. Althogh this game is arcadey enough I will probably play it for a bit at some point.

What is the opinion of Dungeon Hunter Alliance? I am a fan of dungeon crawlers to an extent. $13.22 is the cheapest I've seen it. I own it on PS3, but wouldn't mind a crawler on the Vita.

I only played it for an hour or so but its pretty standard. Not great, not horrible. Just a time waster.

It's a good time waster if you like dungeon crawlers. It's like Diablo-lite. Definitely worth $13.

is the best way to figure out my current spending for the 50/10 sale to go through transaction history and just add up anything between the 26th and now?

well, you own it... give it a whirl?
imo it's a subpar diablo-ish game that i bought on my ipad hoping my wife would like (she likes diablo) but she got bored of it fairly quickly. i also bought it on psn hoping we'd have something to coop but she was meh to it.

not buying it a third time, but that's just me.

To me Dungeon Hunter Alliance was a very average dungeon crawler. It plays totally fine, just never does anything remarkable. If you're a trophy hunter, it does take 4 playthroughs for the Platinum.

My 2p: I played it about halfway-through and it got really tedious, but it might be a more entertaining experience as co-op. All my playtime was SP.

Oh, sweet, Lumines: Electronic Symphony is on sale! I missed out on getting it for $10 at any nearby Sony stores, so I guess $13 or so will have to do.

I've been putting the "thank you for your purchase" emails in their own folder to make it easier to add them up as I get closer to the end of the month.

So we have 2 more store updates of unknown content before the end of the month, can't decide whether to pick up Knytt underground or not, Got 30.43 I need to spend before the end of the month.

I use the transaction history menu of my SEN account (accessible on the Vita, PS3 or online) and set the dates to 3/1 through the rest of the month.

Yes, Sine Mora is worth $5. Very impressed so far.

SFxT is only worth $20 if you like fighting games with a lot of characters and can handle semi awkward controls. I've had a lot of fun with it. I can't hang online at all, like not even a little bit. Have yet to win a match.
