Does PSN usually have a year-end blowout sale like Xbox does?
We're all still waiting for the BF Flash sale and CM blowout sale.

To answer your question... yeah, Sony usually treats us pretty well during sale season. This year? Not so much, to a degree that's positively confusing.

Heck, they didn't even have a conference for PSX. Crazy times.

Gang Beasts drops today which is a plus.

Now if there was a special PS+ discount tacked onto it that would be tits

EDIT: Already has a 20% discount on it.  Winner

Picked up Virginia. Twin Peeks/X-files feel, quick easy plat, decent numbers on meta. For that price, why the hell not.

These are new low prices for Batman games (PS+):

Return to Arkham $10

Arkham Knight $7

Arkham Knight Premium is $16, but it was on sale once before for that price.

There seems to be a lot of stuff like that on this sale. On the smaller indie story/experience driven stuff I usually wait until it's a couple of bucks before I'll consider buying it so this is perfect.

They shoulda called this sale the "Under $2 Easy Platinum" sale cause there are so many on here.

Wow, looks like whoever runs the PSN sales finally came back from their 1 month vacation.  464 items on sale this week.. Frisky has his work cut out for him.  Sadly the cuts don't seem that deep, though I saw about a half dozen things I'm going to grab including Wipeout Collection and some of the VR stuff since I'm getting PSVR for Christmas.  Is VR worlds worth a grab?

I wish Steamworld Dig 2 would have got a 50% discount.. now I have to think about waiting a bit longer.

Be sure to get the newest model. Especially if you have a 4k tv with hdr.

Already platted Stikbold, Jazzpunk, Puzzle 4K, Little Acre, Dying Reborn, Albedo, Manual Samuel, Hitman Go and Seasons After Fall lol.

Seasons is a must own imo. Stikbold and Manual Samuel were a lot of fun, highly recommend as well. Jazzpunk was quirky. Little Acre was enjoyable, I loved the art style. Hitman go was entertaining, I'll prob pick up Lara Croft Go. Albedo and Dying reborn are pretty bad, but easy plat, and puzzle 4k....That's strict trophy whore fodder.

Thats 9 easy plats right there, 10 if you do Dying Reborn on vita as well. If you sign up for the playstation rewards trophy thing, you'll almost break even after lol

The thing that annoys me so much is when they put a bundle on sale but not the DLC that is in the bundle.

For example the Darkest Dungeon Crimson Court Bundle is on sale for $11.99. I bought the game at launch and I am waiting for a sale on the DLC why not support the people who supported you by putting the DLC on sale also.

Also Zen Studios is celebrating its 10 year anniversary and putting a lot of its pinball tables on sale but only the ones for Pinball FX3. I was super excited to see the sale until I noticed this. The only table set I am missing is Bethesda Pinball. I would buy it right now if they included the vita version in the sale and then I would import into the new version. Again what about the people that have supported you since day one. Its the one table set I've been waiting to buy on sale (I've bought a bunch at full price on launch day too.)

Just a frustrating rant. Thanks

Glad to hear that about Stikbold actually, I've thought about buying it a few times cause I really like the art style and I just like dodgeball in general lol. Will grab it this time.

Any recommendations from this? Lots of super cheap stuff I've never heard of.
I'd offer up The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition ($9.99 PS4) if you like puzzle games (think Portal 2). Some of the puzzles are quite challenging, but there's nothing like the feeling of solving them.

Yeah, I've been having that problem for about as long. It's an issue on multiple browsers on PC and my phone. The dlc shows up if I do a search for it, but doing a search isn't ideal because sometimes a dlc add-on doesn't have the game's name in the title.

Alright, but then it'll be in my purchased list right? I game share with my brother. I want to make sure he has access to the DLC too.
I can only assume as much. I haven't bought it yet as I was waiting for a sale. But I know that's how it worked with the 10th anniversary Rock Band track pack.

bought a few things like earthlock and dreamfall because I don't see them getting any cheaper but most of these are just out of my price range... anyone else feel the same?

Received a $10 code that expires the end of the month...I know their aim is to incite me to spend extra cash but probably better to take the chance on a random indie title or two for a few bucks a piece.

Any recommendations?

The weird promo page that only lists 10 games a page and can't be sorted by platform is garbage.
Yeah the console stores in general are a pain to navigate. For me, the worst is when you add an item to the cart, select "continue shopping" only for it to kick you to the top of the menu after scrolling down for 5 minutes. And at least with the eShop, you're not constantly bombarded by ads and DLC pushing.

Isn't the psn code, just a code to redeem? It literally just adds $10 to your wallet.
