Normal backlogs are in the less than 50 maybe....many of ours are in the many hundred....I would put mine...but it's inaccurate and even tracked is a massive number haha.

Heads up, it looks like some GameStops got some of the VR Aim Farpoint bundles in stock. It still says out of stock online, but when I checked in store inventory, 4 different stores in my area had them. Just picked one up for my self. I know bestbuy has them in stock right now, and if you have GCU, it's cheaper. But if you happen to be swimming in GameStop credit, I'd say it's worth it.

I just added up my backlog and I'm only at right under 30 games (not counting PS+ or GWG titles I will never play) which isn't too bad. I play through a ton of games every year so my backlog doesn't get that out of hand. I've played through almost 60 games already this year.

I am at 417 myself. 198 of those are Steam games - bundles and sales over the years - but my PS3/4/vita collection is catching up thanks to how low games get on PSN nowadays (and PS+). My main problem is that I play nearly every genre and often have fun with games most people would consider mediocre. Like a few months ago on PS+ we got that Invizimals game on PS3 and I ended up beating and platting it. Game was a buggy mess, poor frame rate, and some bad game design but I actually had some fun with it despite all that.

But yeah I don't mind that the deals are pretty bad this week, I've bought quite a bit lately anyway. Got a decent amount of stuff on that month long digital only sale.

According to howlongtobeat.com, it will take me 1129 Days and 7 Hours to beat 3032 of my 3083 Steam games.  I can't imagine how long it would take if I add in all the PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PSP, DS and 3DS games I have in my backlog too.

Ive been using this site to get some work done on my backlog. The time estimates help motivate me to start and complete games. Very easy to use.
Yeah I really like how long to beat for specific situations. Like right now so close to Yakuza I don't want to play anything big so I've been going through and finding short games and playing those while I wait.

Been killing my backlog while on leave and just finished main story of Killzone: Shadowfall. It was so bad, it was hard to get through.
Campaign was great, lasted ten hours. Multiplayer was lazy compared to Killzone 3. Same with Infinite Warfare, great campaign and multiplayer was a rushed afterthought.

Agreed. I loved that campaign. I don't really get the hate Killzone games get. Honestly I like them more than the Uncharted games.

In terms of PlayStation exclusives I've spent the most time with Killzone multiplayer. Uncharted's good for story, co-op's also okay, but the competitive never felt right for me.

Uncharted 2 had fantastic multiplayer. I haven't invested enough time into 3 or 4 to really know. The Last of Us has -tremendous- multiplayer

Killzone 2 also had tremendous mutiplayer.

Gameplay wise, trying to compare them seems a bit silly. A dark, weighty sci-fi fps verses a light hearted, adventurous tps... they both have their place.

Finally picked up Evil Within for $5. Is it just me or are the controls kinda weird and the game much more difficult than any Resident Evil?

Unless you don't care for sports games like many people, in which case it's not relevant at all.
This isn't actually the case. The Show has some RPG elements and is generally a phenomenal game. One can get experiences like Killzone and Uncharted on other systems (admittedly not as good or at least a little different) but there are no quality baseball games on any other system. One's personal feelings about a genre don't have any impact on discussions of the best exclusives, just on whether or not you play them. I, for one, have no interest in Killzone or any games like it, but it is clearly relevant to discussions of the best PS exclusives.

It does have clunky stealth movement IMHO. I know I failed many times when doing some stealth take downs and then not being able to move well afterwards and getting caught.

I just bought Madden and haven't watched a full season of football in 18 years. I'm pumped just because my oldest son wants to learn the sport and knowing we aren't going to have games on every Sunday he can get into it and see if he really likes the sport or not.

As far as best PS4 exclusives it's easy though: The Order: 1886.

I haven't played Madden in like 10 years but tried that Longshot mode and now I want to play it. Same thing with NBA Live 18. Put RPG elements in anything and I'll buy it.

I wonder how much better The Order would have fared if it had been marketed and released as a smaller but high budget $30 title like Hellblade. Both short games with high production values, lots of story being told while walking around (which some would complain is used to pad out the length). I liked The Order, but I was only renting it and would not have felt the same way if I had spent the full $60 on it.

Hope they announce a sequel at PSX this year.

Yeah I have to imagine price hurt this game. I just played it for the first time a few months ago and absolutely loved every second of it, but, I paid $3.99 for it. I'd felt burnt if I had paid $60 for it considering there is basically no replayability and the story is fairly short.

Though to be honest I'd rather see them keep the $60 price and put more emphasis on creating a world for you to explore. Not an open world game but something more like a Souls game or Batman AA, worlds like that, a small handcrafted world you'd explore with maybe a leveling or weapon upgrade system to tie the whole thing together.

I say that because the entire time I was playing the game I found myself looking out past the invisible walls thinking how much cooler everything out there looked. They created a really unique and cool alternate London but it felt fairly wasted on a standard linear TPS.

I am sorry, the best PS exclusive is The Show.

Unless you don't care for sports games like many people, in which case it's not relevant at all.

I've never heard of anyone calling Bloodborne that.

Best PS4 exclusive is Knack, that's why they made a sequel. Like Homefront.
Your all wrong, the best PS exclusive hands down is Last of Us end of discussion no more talk is needed, can move the thread along now.

I hate Bloodborne but I love Bloodborne. I'm about halfway through and stopped playing a year ago. Going back feels like going back to the gym. Even hating the difficulty, I'd say that's like the actual "best" exclusive.

Whenever I hear people talk about THE game that got them to get a PS4,  9 out of 10 times, it's Bloodborne.

It's what made me finally get one as well and, by far, is my favorite exclusive.

I'm that 1 then. I can care less about Bloodborn but purchased the PS4, solely for ...MLB the show.

Best PS4 exclusive is obviously Infamous: Second Son.....not really but when it came out and I was dying for anything PS4 (with it's horrible line-up at the time) and it was fun. My choice likely is Yakuza 0, because it's a very well polished and fun game.

I understand your point. If you love baseball and video games (like me) then PS4 is the only place to play. My friends keep asking me to buy The Show. I haven't bought a baseball game since Ken Griffey Jr Baseball but I think it's about time. Funny that he's on the cover too.

Ultimately, I was going to buy a PS4 anyways but Bloodborne sealed the deal.

Assassin's Creed IV, Killzone, FIFA14 and Resogun were just a few of the launch titles. Thought Sony did a great job with the launch of the PS4, especially compared to the PS3 launch.
